Hôtel bien placé mais très mal insonorisé entre les chambres. Nous avons eu plusieurs voisins très bruyants donc réveillés très tôt et endormi tard. Nous avions réservé deux chambres avec des amis et ils ont eu le même problème que nous. Impossible de réserver le parking de l hôtel donc on nous a envoyé dans un autre hôtel en nous fournissant un plan. Beaucoup de rues étant en travaux l accès à ce parking est compliqué. Bref nous ne reviendrons pas dans cet hôtel.

Funcionários apressados, chegamos de carro e apertamos botão de chamada da recepção, abriram o portão, após descermos todas malas desceu num funcionário para informar que eu não tinha reserva lá e que deveria tirar o carro da garagem. Insisti que era um mal entendido 3 vezes e tive de deixar minha família num frio de 1 grau esperando no subsolo para mostrar minha reserva e fazer check in. O mesmo funcionário sempre arrogante, havia uma sala com mesa como uma sala de reuniões nunca utilizada que após dois dias perguntei se poderia utilizar meun leptop ali, o mesmo funcionário respondeu que somente por 15 mintos, ríspido. Ou seja, completa falta de qualquer empatia.

Péssimo, o hotel mais barulhento que já fiquei na vida. Acústica zero, barulho de portas, pessoas no corredor, aspirador de pó cedo, banheiro e quartos pequenos para o que se diz 4 estrelas. Diz que tem estacionamento, mas não, só tem 5 vagas e te mandam estacionar a duas quadras do hotel. Nunca mais.

Two things stood out at this hotel. We were advised in advance that there was limited parking. I assumed this meant few spaces, but it actually meant only small cars. We had to park a 10 minute walk away in a place that was really tight so I assume the Mercure would only accept dinky cars. If you are travelling in anything the same size or larger than an Audi Q3, your car won't be accepted into the car park. The second thing was the noise. We seemed to be assaulted by noise from all six sides. Every word from the adjoining rooms was clearly audible and noise from the corridors and outside was also loud. It's not an easy place to sleep in.

Room and entire hotel were spotlessly clean. Staff very attentive: we had a drain clog in our shower late at night and they moved us efficiently to another room. Location is perfect for Madrid museum visits -- directly across the Paseo from the Prado and 5-10 minute walks to the Thyssen and Reina Sophia. Lots of great restaurants within a 5-10 minute radius.

Great place to stay in the art triangle in Madrid. Close to Metro stations, art museums, Parque de el Retiro, Jardin Botanico, and a reasonable walk to the Plaza Mayor. Nice coffee shops in the area, too. Hotel was clean, quiet, and staff was very helpful with restaurant reservations and getting taxis. Not a fancy place, but reasonably priced and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

Abbiamo alloggiato in questa struttura per una settimana per la nostra vacanza a Madrid. Siamo stati benissimo. L'albergo è comodo, pulito, silenzioso e il personale gentilissimo. Ottimi prodotti per la colazione e fantastica posizione per visitare la città a piedi. I ragazzi alla reception sono stati disponibilissimi a risolvere ogni tipondi richiesta. Davvero bravi tutti.

The room smelled like sewer. Apparently this is a common thing in Spain due to old pipes. But the hotel needs to look into the issue since the smell was so bad. My room neighbors had the same issue. The hotel needs to invest more in their sewer system.

Amazing Stay – Can’t Wait to Come Back! From the moment I walked in to check in until the moment I checked out, the staff was absolutely amazing. I had tons of questions about the city and getting around, and everyone was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful. Their recommendations made exploring so much easier! My room was spotless, and housekeeping did a fantastic job throughout my stay. The amenities were great as well — everything I needed was right there. The location couldn’t have been better. It’s right in the middle of many popular tourist spots, all within walking distance, which made sightseeing super convenient. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be staying here again!

The Hotel was well located and many attractions are within walking distance. The only downside for the hotel is very poor sound insulation. There is virtually no sound proofing. you can hear room doors closing at all hours and the door mechanism is very stiff that ensures everyone will need to slam their doors to shut it. You can hear the taps and WC from your neighbours and voices of people in the next room very clearly. if you have inconsiderate and noisy neighbours you will not get any sleep. So fellow travellers be warned. Otherwise, rooms are clean, staff very friendly and polite. Good breakfast for European standards.

Cama confortavel, boa localizacao. Chegamos 2 horas apos o horario de check in mas o quarto nao estava pronto. Pediram 5 minutos mas apos 30 minutos o quarto ja estava pronto e esqueceram de nos avisar. Alem disso, o isolamento acustico é pessimo, ouvimos todos os dias os vizinhos de cima caminhando e fechando as portas. O wifi funcionava muito mal dentro do quarto.

Equipe perfeita. Atenciosa, educada, fazendo de tudo para ajudar e ser agradável. Hotel bem localizado, perto do Prado e em área agradável e de fácil acesso ao centro e a estação de trem de Atocha. Quarto limpo e de bom tamanho. Café da manhã de ótima qualidade. O único problema é an internet que não acessa direito nos quartos, apesar de todas tentativas da equipe do hotel em melhorar o sinal.

Nice small hotel close to the Prado museum. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was fine, just a little small. Walls are thin and there was a bit of a noise until late at night likely from outside the room since I was close to the elevator. Breakfast was decent. All in all nice place to stay if you are going to spend a lot of time at attractions like Prado and around.

The good: the accommodation location is good and the staff friendly, clean hotel. Breakfast has a god wide range of options. The bad: this is not a 4 star hotel, it is more a hostel! Rooms are partly renovated, so some outdated closets and walls that you don’t see in the pictures. The worst part is how loud it is! I cour the people on all sides sneeze, laugh, walk, plug in phones, roll their suitcases, drop stuff, shower, flush the toilet, talk and even other activities. So I had someone check in last next door so they made noise untill 1.30 Am and had people check out early so I could hear them talking and showering at 5am! This is not Mercure brand worthy, the Ibis budget brand would be an insult to call it even that. Don’t stay here is my advice.

When I arrived I was told, through the fog of my jetlag that several of their rooms had some type of water problem. They very nicely booked me in hotel Ibis Prado that turned out to be a very nice hotel...Im just curious if the knew of the problem before I arrived & could have warned me. But I gave them a 3 star because the front desk was helpful & hailed a cab for me.

Único hotel da rede em que tive problema com atendimento da recém até hoje, atendimento péssimo e sem nenhuma gentileza, especialmente da funcionária Lorena, até porque no grupo havia idosos e 2 crianças pequenas. Chegamos 11:45h, Lorena nos disse que os 2 quartos reservados não estavam prontos, que somente após 14h. Voltamos do almoço 14:30, ela disse que somente 1 quarto estava arrumado e que em 5 minutos a "governanta" daria uma posição sobre o outro. Subimos para o quarto pronto, colocamos as malas e voltamos à recepção às 15h, pois todos queríamos tomar banho. Lorena nos disse que o 2o quarto seguia indisponível e que a "governanta" não havia liberado o quarto. Devido ao inconveniente, especialmente por ter crianças e idosos no grupo, pedi ao menos o late check out de 1h na saída, ao que ela disse que não seria possível. Pedi então a imediata liberação do quarto, ela tornou a repetir que "nada poderia fazer", o que nos obrigou a sair do hotel sem sequer tomar banho, etc. Atitude lamentável, sem sensibilidade e educação por parte do hotel.

The check in process on the morning of 7 June was very smooth and the hotel attendants were helpful in storing our bags until our room was ready. We visited the Prada Museum across the street at 1000 and we were notified that the room was ready about 1200 which was much appreciated since we quite tired from our trip. The Junior Suite with 1 king bed was very nice with a good shower, tub and double sink with good lighting. The bed was very comfortable with excellent linens. The suite had a nice sitting room and a large balcony available through a sliding door. The room temperature was easy to adjust. The breakfast was very nice with lots of fresh fruit and a variety of other choices which we enjoyed. The coffee from the machine was fine but the portions were small requiring several trips to the machine. The hotel location was perfect for all the local museums and you are only one block of the Calle Jesus tapas area. We would definitely stay here again.
