The hotel is nice the breakfast is excellent, everything is very close; Puerta del Sol. Plaza Mayor, Royal Palace Madrid Catedral. Like I said before is a great location but at the same time is very inconvenient, because Taxi don't get to the hotel because Area is Peatonal, and you have to walk to the Hotel with your luggage

The building which was well preserved. No one would know that it’s modernized until you go in and stay there. Breakfast was good too and staff are very nice and friendly. I will come back with my family

Location is amazing, close to everything you could want. The staff is very nice and the rooms are clean, but the property is showing image and a lot of wear and tear. Wallpaper starting to peel, carpet in the hallways is old and dingy, halls need repainting, trim and furniture is dented and showing damage. In fact, one of the electrical outlets in the hallway showed burn marks from an electrical short (?)… Book and stay for the amazing location. Also, there is no vehicle access in the area (nice for walking), but keep this in mind - you’ll need to walk 1-2 blocks with your suitcases to the hotel and to a taxi when you leave.

Great location Unfriendly staff, poor facilities : abandoned, dust all over the antique elevator; no microwave available at dine; no ice maker machine working; unfinished wallpaper at room( one wall full concrete); bad smell in the room later fixed with a strong odor; teared furniture ( closet, desk); safe box not working ( broken); mold on shower tub; inconsistent hot water. We have stayed at other Petite in Spain before but this is the worst and does not reflect the expected Petite experience

Infelizmente, não há acesso para veículos ao local, o que é restritivo a quem tem dificuldade de locomoção ou carrega maior quantidade de bagagem. Amazing family vacation with my in-laws .offsite parking is very expensive at $36. Euros a night. But lots to do in Madrid and surrounding cities.rented a car drove over 3200KM . Visited Portugal as well.

Smelly bedroom should close them both. Since it was winter not air conditioning was on so it was that plus the smell. Should close 218 and 318 bedrooms definitely, not like the pictures shown in Hotel.com. I reserved 3 rooms and two of my families ended in this smelly hole in the back of the hotel near the Laundry room, that by the way need renewal too. I am sorry but we saved for this trip and is so disappointed to ended this way.

The property has an excellent location, walking distant to the Plaza del Sol, La Gran Vía, Mercado San Miguel and Plaza Mayor. It’s a very busy area. Lots of restaurants and taps places. Lots of shopping. Near the Sol metro station. But the place is an old building that needs a lot of care. Air conditioning wasn’t working properly, rooms don’t have good noise isolation, we can heard the noises in the upper room. Bathroom was clean but it was so dated that the shower seemed dirty. Carpets in all the building has water stain. Lot of dust in the stairs walls. The hotel has a great breakfast buffet with fresh vegetables, natural orange juice (fresh squeezed) Spanish tortilla, fresh and natural jams, coffee, a variety of non dairy milk , fresh fruits, hams, iberic hams and cheese. Excellent!

Great Staff and Location. The room was clean-but very outdated. The panelling of the wood in the bathroom was moldy looking, the room had and hallways had a musty odor. They could benefit from a proper renovation-carpet removal in the hallway, removal of old materials) (rotten wood) or old furniture in the hallway. Other then that it was nice-

The hotel was clean. The hallways and elevator could use a little dusting. It’s very convenient to the subway and metro. It’s very near the giant downtown square. Plenty of shops and restaurants all around. The room was hot, as the air condition did not work properly. We left the balcony doors open. The bathroom was extremely small including the shower. There is hardly any counter space for the wife’s products. The staff was great. The breakfast bar was above average.

Great location in the middle of the old city. Luckily good sound barriers since this is the busiest and noisest part of town, and I mean all night. Lovely room with the only complaint being poor air circulation so was way too hot .

This hotel is in the perfect location to walk around Madrid, it is in the center of everything! Just two blocks off Grand Via, within walking distance of all the major attractions, plazas, shopping, restaurants, etc. It is an old hotel with basic furniture and lobby, so don't expect anything fancy. The breakfast was good and there is a 24-hour Nespresso machine which we used every day. Good water pressure and a dual head adjustable shower, although it is small. Nice views from the balconies.

Location! Location!! the only good thing of this hotel. The AC is horrible and we could not sleep because it was hot. The room is very small and the bed is not even queen bed. The AC is the same for the hotel and can't be lower in your room.

Great Ubication. Very good service attendance for Check In & Check Out. Very good Front Desk personal. Room a little small. Very noise from 7:30 to 11:00 a.m. if you are in the 4th floor, because the restaurant is in the 5th floor. Mattress very soft & uncomfortable. Suggest a remodulation for better guest comfort

We stayed in a quadruple room. The room is very small but if you are not planning to stay at the hotel a lot and get to know the city it works out great! The breakfast is very good, a lot of variety of food. Location is amazing! you can walk pretty much to everywhere. Bathroom and the furniture could use a bit of an upgrade. Overall, I would definitely recommend staying here. The staff was also very nice and helpful.

Service staff was excellent especially Laura and Sergio. Laura was extremely helpful and provided a lot of assistance/tips during our stay. Sergio greeted us very well and allowed us to check in prior to the established hour so we could rest after our long flight. Thanks both!

This isn’t really a hotel. It felt more like an apartment building with a small front desk. The hallways are dirty with black marks on the walls and dents. The baseboards on the hallways are broken. The room itself was fine though the shower didn’t drain and I was standing in inches of water before it drained properly. The toilet flush button was broken and the shower is from the 70’s. The bed was good and it was quiet so we were able to sleep. The reception staff seemed like we were interrupting them when we came into the area and I heard them talking poorly about another client because they weren’t able to open the front door with the access key. She literally rolled her eyes. When I asked to speak to the manager, I was told I had to wait til Monday morning. The staff can’t make any executive decisions themselves and weren’t willing to contact the manager on the weekend. Odd to have no manger on call. Overall we loved Madrid but this hotel/hostel was definitely not worth the money we paid compared to other hotels we’ve stayed at throughout our travels.

Excellent central location near the Plaza del Sol. Staff was very helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. For most of our trip, Lucia help us with all our needs and she was extremely gracious and kind.
