Better than expected. The hotel from a distance seems dated but the decor is actually fresh and facilities comfortable and high spec. The breakfast was very good, even with vegetarian requirements and a dairy allergy. Staff were very helpful and they had electric car chargers and free parking. Nice location and a lovely plant based restaurant (even for meat eaters) down the road as well. Recommended as a reasonable priced place to stay in the capital close to the park and the airport

Lovely hotel with fabulous breakfast. A little way out of Madrid but opposite a metro station. Metro very easy to use. You can walk to Retiro Park from the hotel which is well worth a visit. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - Madrid is a great city. Only minor negatives were that the pool wasn’t open for the season yet and the hotel bar shut at 11.

Great location close to Atocha train station. Hotel was excellent, staff great provided us with rooms earlier then our check in time. Parking on site. Definitely would stay on my next visit to Madrid. About 30 minutes from airport.

Personalet var meget hjælpsom da det viste sig at det tildelte værelse havde en for kort sovesofa til vores to sønner. Vi fik istedet 2 stk 2personers værelser lige ved siden af hinanden. Meget fornem løsning. Derudover var alt rent, fint og morgenmaden meget tilfredsstillende både for sundhedsfreaks og sønner med en sød tand. Trænings"rummet" viste sig atvære fri adgang til et reelt træningscenter. Virkelig ultimativt fedt. Personalet desuden yderst hjælpsomme og løsningsorienteret.

Great stay in Madrid. Nice big room, with comfy sofa bed for our son. Hotel is next to a metro station (circle loop line) so easy to get around Madrid. Good breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Swimming pool was a bit small and the water quite cold though If looking specifically for a hotel with a pool then you might be disappointed with the Claridge’s pool. Everything else was great…

I splurged on the last part of my trip but was so disappointed that the water was not working on day 1. I couldn’t shower, brush my teeth and I had a cold so I really wanted a hot shower. The hotel offered no compensation- not even a breakfast or discount for the inconvenience. The water in the shower leaked all over the floor, the sealant was not working . The bed was comfortable, it was a nice spacious room. I had called room service to pick up the dirty dishes. No one ever came so I had to call again hours later and just placed it in the hallway. The gym was nice. No one looked up or said hello when I entered the lobby each time. The almonds on the mini bar tasted rancid. I wouldn’t stay here again though the room and gym were nice, I had higher expectations for the price.

It takes about a brisk 10-minute walk to the metro station in one direction, and a little less to a large beautiful park in the opposite direction. The interior of the hotel is clean, elegant. The location and staff were great! However, we booked this hotel because it listed air conditioning, but it was broken in our room. This made sleeping quite difficult and I woke up multiple times with soaking wet pillows. If the A/C worked this would be 4 or 5 stars, but we could rarely get the rest we needed which did affect our trip a little bit. Also, wifi didn't work for out stay but that wasn't as big a deal as the A/C.

The beds were SO uncomfortable. I hardly slept the three nights we stayed. Which is disappointing because everything else about this hotel is excellent- very clean, great service, and very convenient bar/café downstairs. I would consider staying here again if they changed the mattress

Good location to Retiro Park area. Meto stop across the street. While it did have a privacy screen on the window that you can still see out of, the shower tub basically is in front of it facing the busy roundabout.

The location was prefect to walk around the city. The bus service took us to city center and the palace. Everyone at the hotel was helpful and attentive and friendly . Having people at the front desk and resturant was extremely helpful due to the fact we do not speak or understand Spanish .

We were treated exceptionally well. The front made dinner recommendations and made reservations for us at entertainment venues. They stored luggage while we left for 3 days and returned. Our luggage was already in our room when we returned. Easy on and off the bus, Metro. Amazing.

I booked this place for a friend who is blind and her two daughters. One daughter left her phone in a taxi and the hotel staff went the extra mile to help retrieve it. They could not have been nicer and more helpful. It was a very nice place to stay, with great employees.

This is a Good property for a business visit.Or conference but maybe not as much for tourist. There's probably about a mile and a half walk to the touristy areas. But overall a really nice clean hotel with good staff.

The front desk staff were friendly and very helpful with directions and info on nearby dining options. The soundproofing in the rooms is an unfortunate issue. The hotel is located next to a metro station which makes for easy getting around. Though there aren’t many points of interest within walking distance, there are some good eateries where locals meet and dine and that was the highlight of our stay at the somewhat overpriced Claridge Madrid

The hotel is nice and the staff is very nice and helpful. Couple of cons though: Location is not the best. Though the hotel is close to the train station(around 7-9 mins away), there aren't too many restaurants around. Also, the food in their restaurant is not the best. We ate breakfast on the day we arrived and the bacon was a little raw and food was less than OK. The price of the hotel is good but you will need to take a cab to Centro(city center around 10-15mins by cab). Overall a decent experience. We would give it around 3.5 to 4 stars at the most.

La habitación es confortable. El servicio bueno, especialmente el de David en el Desayuno buffet es excelente. También el servicio de restaurante y bar excelente. Lo único que mejoraría es que en la habitación hubiera diario botellas de agua de cortesía y el menú del restaurante un poco más internacional.
