The hotel felt tucked away from high traffic with a park just across the street. Yet it was a convenient walk to so many restaurants and shops. The staff was incredibly helpful and spoke excellent English, which was not common at other locations in Madrid. There were two elevators; however, the elevator that was located on ground level was not working. We had to carry our luggage up a short flight of stairs to the working elevator that could only hold two people with luggage at a time. It is a small hotel, so even being on the seventh floor, the wait wasn't too long for an open elevator. We enjoyed a quick bite and drink at the restaurant, which is so convenient.

Veldig glad i dette hotellet! Har bodd her flere ganger i forbindelse med jobb. Gode senger, men litt eldre inventar. Kjempe flott treningsrom, god frokost og sentral beliggenhet litt utenfor. Trygt område. Kort vei til gode restauranter. Litt vanskelig å få tak i taxi til jobb, men resepsjonistene er behjelpelig med booking. Bor gjerne her igjen.

The hotel was really nice old world charm and close proximity to shopping for walking, etc. Only draw back was one of the elevators wasn't working and had to drag suitcases up/down flights of stairs which was not ideal. Also breakfast was always cold??

Molto scarso il servizio, in particolare alla reception, dove è presente un solo impiegato a turno, con tempi d'attesa lunghissimi. Camere di dimensioni medie, generalmente ben tenute. The location is excellent—just a 2-minute walk to the nearest metro station, making it easy to get around Madrid. It took about 20 to 25 minutes to reach the Prado Museum, and the main shopping streets were also around 20 minutes away on foot. Breakfast was tasty and varied, with fresh options each morning. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, which really added to the experience. Overall, great value for money and a place I’d definitely stay at again.

This was a lovely hotel in a very quiet neighborhood - convenient to all the sights of Madrid, but tucked away on a quiet street. My room was small but very clean with a comfortable bed and linens, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, there was renovation underway on my floor, making it very noisy during the day. And there was a problem regulating temperature, so my room was always a bit too warm. That said, it was an amazing value and an ideal location. I plan to rebook there on my next visit.

Great (firm, but comfy) bed, good access to fresh/outdoor air, a mini fridge, kettle & nespresso maker (in an 'upgraded' room at least). Quiet area with good access to Metro & tourist spots, so a really nice balance. Walls could be thin when neighbors came back post-bar-hopping but most of the time it was really quiet. Wifi (top floor) was a bit slow. Nice open staircases for use instead of elevator if you wanted to. Breakfast didn't change much daily, but had an extremely wide variety so it wan't a problem (I stayed almost a week for a professional meeting), and they had GF bread if you requested. Addressing an earlier review, the water itself is fine, just a bit of lingering sewer gas occaisionallly (common, not a problem). Overall a really good stay, and I'll definitely re-book the next time I am in Madrid.

No primeiro dia colocaram em um quarto do térreo com vista para um terreno baldio, o chuveiro não tinha água quente! No outro dia havia muito barulho de uma obra, pedi para trocar de quarto! A portaria me ofereceu um quarto com cama separada e de frente para a rua! Disse que não sabe o motivo de colocarem no térreo, pois tinha uma reserva de quarto com upgrade! Não volto!

Llegar de un país tropical a descansar y disfrutar de la maravillosa ciudad de Madrid y recibir una habitación sin aire acondicionado, porque la política del hotel en determinadas épocas ,es apagarlo por ahorro de energía , pero no le hacen esas advertencias en su presentación. Por lo menos deben dejarle un ventilador, porque una habitación cerrada , lo que se respira es un aire viciado ,asfixiante . Y si fuera por un solo día, ni modo ,pero tuvimos que pasar 5 días, Estoy muy desencantado, me gusta el hotel y su ubicación pero no de esa manera. Nunca me había pasado en otros hoteles para la mismas fechas.

Great area, close to the metro and allowed early check in. Only negative was the water pressure, it was fantastic until it wasn’t. I turned the shower on and before I could get in the whole bathroom flooded - note to future guests, do not turn the water on full blast the drain can’t keep up! Went down to the reception to ask for more towels they said they’d send someone up to assist with cleaning up all the water. An hour later no one had showed up to our room; went back to the reception and he noted he wrote my room number down wrong and someone would be up right away… another 45 minutes later with still no one, and by now we just want to go to bed; I went down and asked if I could just have the towels myself to clean it up. The reception apologized and then sent someone up within 5 minutes. That was the only negative experience at the hotel. Other than that, it was great

Great location, safe and beautiful. My only complaint is the lack of response to questions before arriving at the hotel. I asked about parking 3x and never got a response. I also requested 2 separate beds and got no response, but got a room with 2 beds when we checked in.

It was a very nice hotel, location and cleanliness where just great. Housekeeping just lovely! Just one of the front desk ladies embarrassed me in front of other costumers. She was not showing discretion at all, she asked him me if the guy I was with was gonna sleep with me, knowing the room reservation was made only for one person, he was my best friend husband who very nicely offered himself to give me a city tour. She made things super awkward. Don’t think they comment was necessary.

Abbiamo soggiornato 3 notti in una camera tripla. La camera in sé è carina, l’hotel ha una buona posizione. Peccato aver avuto un problema con il bagno essendo rotto lo sciacquone. Il ragazzo alla reception non ci ha saputo aiutare, non era presente il manutentore e non ci è stata data una camera sostituiva. Anzi ci è stato detto che non si poteva fare nulla. Grazie invece a Rosemary (housekeeper) che ci ha aiutato ed insieme abbiamo aggiustato la situazione seppur in maniera precaria. Il ragazzo alla reception è stato scortese e non disponibile a trovarci una soluzione visto il grande problema.

Juan Luis was incredibly helpful and friendly. He was very welcoming from the moment we arrived. He checked us in fast. He greeted us each day we were there. Excellent service. The hotel is in a great location and it’s easy to walk everywhere within the city center. Rooms were nice and comfortable.

It's not right in the city center but there's metro nearby, but that metro has no escalator or elevator so if you have big luggage, beware you have to climb the stairs. We booked 2 rooms but was quite far apart on the same floor.

Sehr ruhig an einem kleinen Park gelegen; trotzdem sehr zentral; U-Bahnstation nur 2 Minuten entfernt. Komfortable Zimmer, freundliches Personal, leckeres Frühstück. Gefehlt haben einzig eine Kaffeemaschine auf dem Zimmer und das W-Lan war nicht dauerhaft zuverlässig. Ansonsten aber sehr empfehlenswert !!!

This hotel was beautiful! We are on a 18 day bus tour and this has to be the prettiest hotel and most comfortable. My only complaint is there are not enough glasses for drinking and teeth brushing. Also the coffee machine in the buffet is complicated. But other than that it's great. Perfect location too!
