The location of the hotel is excellent. You are in the middle of the city and can walk everywhere. The hotel has a guard at the parking who is very helpful and friendly. We always felt that our car was safe there. We only had breakfast but enjoyed it very much.

Hotel is very nice, comfortable rooms and very well located. It has a parking on the premises which is a plus. The staff is nice and helpful. Being in the center is very easy to access the important objective you want to visit. It's walking distance to Sagrada familia, the Royal Palace, all the plazzas and lots of shops. Many places to eat and coffee shops. The room is nice,being in Madrid, I expected small rooms but they are comfortable, nice beds and minibar for your needs. Bathroom is also good sized and very clean. Overall very nice hotel.

This is very nice hotel in the heart of Madrid. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with questions. The hotel is very clean and has a nice restaurant as well as good room amenities like toiletries and a mini bar. The parking is a bit difficult to get to just because of pedestrian traffic but it is available. Great stay overall, would stay again next visit.

Clean, but gym is very sad with no windows, sauna’s space is terrible, room’s window give on a the courtyard which is about 2m by 2m, hence you feel you are almost in the same room as your neighbours. Would not go back.

In my last review I wrote about all the great things about this hotel, and mentioned some changes to the hotel, telling possible hotel guests they might be bothered by remodeling. As an update, May 2025, improvements in the lobby have been completed. Spain is a beautiful country to experience so go and stay at this hotel!

Solid city center hotel. Very close to Gran Via and nicely centered between palace and prado/park. Good services including room service, bellhops and a nice restaurant. Under construction as of 1/5/25 so it’ll be even nicer once done. Only complaint was about noise in the streets on both Friday and Saturday (very) late nights. The hotel is across from two bars where things get crazy.

We have been customers of the hotel for the past 20 years. Excellent hotel at a good price. They recently changed all the front desk staff, not as friendly and helpful as the previous ones. Hotel is undergoing improvements and the restaurant is temporarily in the lobby, which is a bit inconvenient. Breakfast is good, with ample selection.

Avoid This Hotel – You’ll Regret It I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience at Hotel Liabeny was so poor I feel obligated to warn others. This place is rated 4.5 stars, but it is far from deserving that score. Yes, the location is excellent, but that’s where the positives end. My first room had an ant infestation. When I asked to be moved, the front desk staff gave me dismissive looks instead of an apology. There’s no iron or ironing board in the entire hotel – only a paid ironing service, which is absurd for a hotel in this category. The shower was unclean, with mould in the first room and hair left behind in the second. In the gym, the water dispenser stayed empty for my entire 60-minute workout despite two calls requesting it be refilled. Breakfast was underwhelming, with limited and unappealing options. Housekeeping left a used coffee mug in my room and didn’t replenish drinking water, even in 40°C heat. With so many better hotels in Madrid’s city center, don’t be fooled by the high rating – book elsewhere. I wish I had.

Estuvimos una semana en el hotel. Nos sorprendió que se nos perdió algo y al mirar el piso estaba sucio y lleno de polco, y bajo las camas peor. Es increíble que no tengan una plancha y que solicitar el servicio de planchado el mismo día sea tan costoso. El servicio en la barra del hotel fue bueno.

The “standard” room we were given (for a family of three) unfortunately had no windows, which made the stay uncomfortable for my elderly parents. While the hotel’s location and breakfast were good, the room itself was quite cold, and both the Wi-Fi and heating/air-conditioning systems didn’t function properly throughout our stay. Overall, I wouldn’t choose this hotel again, and I’ll be considering other options for future trips to Madrid. I also wouldn’t recommend it to friends or family.

Room was nice……but the noise from the street was awful. Check in was interesting. A woman sitting there looking like she’d swallowed vinegar. Fortunately a nice young man checked us in. After telling us we would pay at the end of the stay we found that wasn’t correct. Overall a good location but don’t think we would go back there.

Very clean staff and service good.excellent hotel in good central position although quiet. Only issue ni tea and coffee facility in room of this grade. I understand it is in higher grade rooms. Bedding and towels changed daily. Would stay again and recommend.

The room and facilities were clean but the room was extremely tiny and looked way smaller than what I saw from the pictures. I felt claustrophobic a bit. Also they don't even provide a bottle of water. Location was amazing though. Everything was walkable from hotel.

The room and building was super nice. The location top. But with that, comes the noise. The windows were not properly isolated which made the talking in the streets feel like nearly being in the room. Also wasn't very keen on the breakfast. Fresh fruit was nice, but the nice cappucino or fresh juices were only available for buying.

The hotel was beautifully appointed and check in was fairly easy. In general the staff was friendly. The room was small but comfortable. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and air conditioning worked properly. I also love the location. Close to the action but not directly in it.

Great location. The hotel is located very close to Puerta del Sol and all the shops and restaurants, but not so close that it was loud outside the open window. The lobby had a lot of stairs incorporated into the design, so not ideal for differently abled or immobile guests, but the design was beautiful and modern. The room was spotless. The front desk staff were friendly but lacked warmth. I didn't feel especially welcomed. The bellman were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was quite nice with multiple delicious options on a large buffet, and reasonably priced. The room design and amenities were quite nice and the bathroom was spacious and clean. The shower had nice water pressure.

The hotel itself was very impressive. Lobby was clean and luxurious. We had unfortunately scheduled our stay without knowing about the Columbus day celebrations so it was very busy and were unable to reach the hotel because the parade cut us off from our route to the hotel. We had a very long day and just wanted food and to check in. The staff did not really make us feel welcome, and when i ordered food they did not let the delivery driver come up to bring us our order and instead had us come down to get it. The way the concierge told us to come down was not friendly and was snippy. This interaction with the staff was not the type of service i would expect from a 4 star hotel. After a long and dreadful day of being lost in a new city, we just wanted to rest in our room. The area around the hotel was also under construction so pickup from our uber the next day was very inconvenient as we had to walk with our luggage a few blocks away to get around and across the Gran Via to get picked up. All in all - unfortunate circumstances but the hotel staff did not improve our experience.

We were upgraded to nice room, excellent service, rooms very nice and clean, amazing bathroom and very nice shower. They cleaned our room everyday. We were very happy with our stay and definitely recommend!

Several of the rooms share a small hallway with an adjoining room, probably so that they can be connected as a larger family suite. We stayed in one of these rooms, and on our second night, the people in the room next to us began to smoke. We informed the front desk and they asked the adjacent guest whether they were smoking. The guest said no, and they took them at their word. The whole hall and room stunk of smoke. The next night when I was sitting in my room, I could literally see the smoke coming under the door and went down to the front desk again. They adjusted our accommodations to a different room, and we had to move out at midnight. On the way up the elevator, the hotel attendant told me that they had experienced trouble with this particular guest in the past. It is clear they are not serious about making the hotel nice. We had a horrible day.

Ubicación excelente, cerca de todo y al mismo tiempo el hotel está en una plaza tranquila con parada de taxis justo enfrente. El personal de recepción estuvo bien; pero nada fuera de lo común;mis hijas tuvieron que cambiar de habitación porque la cerradura estaba estropeada, y Daniel atendió la solicitud de inmediato. Desayuno muy bueno, con mucha variedad, y un personal del restaurante muy atento y educado. El servicio de limpieza de la habitación podría mejorar, ya que está por debajo de lo esperado para un hotel de 4 estrellas. Me alojaría aquí nuevamente.

SOL駅から近く、El Corte Inglesも徒歩3分で買物の荷物も置きに帰れるので観光に最適な立地です！シャワーの水圧も問題なく、水はけも良かったけど、洗面が詰まり気味なのがちょっと困りました。私たちは疲れて爆睡してたので、気にならなかったけれど、通りに面した部屋だと目の前にクラブがあって毎日夜中（朝5時過ぎまで）、爆音でパリピな音楽と人の声が聞こえます。窓を閉めていても部屋でテレビを見る音量くらいに聞こえるので、睡眠への影響が不安な方はやめた方が良いかもです。

Great hotel in the heart of Madrid. A few minutes walk to p.d. Sol and lots of shopping and restaurants yet very quiet. Our room was clean and modern. Some days, around 9:00AM, the line to get to the dining area for breakfast was ~10 minutes since the dining area is small for the number of guests. It would have been nice if they had hot water and coffee machines in the room, but the kitchen staff were very accommodating if you asked for hot water. Victor, the hotel concierge, was very helpful and friendly and provided good restaurant recommendations.

Pro: Zentrale Lage (man muss aber akzeptieren, dass das Leben in der Stadt in Madrid bis in die Nacht hineingeht). Anbindung an den ÖPNV. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Viele tolle Restaurants und Geschäfte in der Nähe. Contra: Wir hätten uns ein besseres Frühstück gewünscht (Ausnahme: Omelett zum Bestellen). Unabhängig von der Art der Kaffeemaschine hat keine Kaffeespezialität geschmeckt. Zimmerreinigung muss konsequent durchgeführt werden (am 3.Tag nach Einzug waren endlich die vorhandenen Spuren auf dem Fußboden verschwunden).

This is an excellently located hotel. I had stayed some years ago and it was a little run down but has since been remodelled. Rooms are a good size and with a/c. The only thing wrong is that there is no iron or steamer in the room. Service was good, especially server Rafael Fernandez who was great and very nice when serving us at the outside umbrellas. Breakfast buffet was too expensive for what was offered. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
