The hotel is like being in your own private condo in a quiet area of the Salamanca neighborhood. Many nice stores and restaurants around. Still you can walk to the Madrid historic Center and museums The restaurant only offers breakfast but has plenty of choices and rightly priced. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We have absolutely no negative comments! The hotel was amazing in every respect - service, condition, location, decoration, beds and bedding, bathroom - everything was outstanding! We booked a suite, which was huge and had a lovely outdoor veranda - shady in the mornings and evenings and perfect for relaxing with a coffee or wine. Breakfasts were served in the lovely Gingko Restaurant. Helpful staff and a good selection of pastries, fruit, egg dishes etc - all for €15 which we thought was a very good deal! It also had a nicely equipped kitchenette which we didn't use but would have been useful if we had stayed longer. The area is quiet and elegant but with lots of cafes, restaurants and shops. Just a short walk to Gran Via and the centre. Altogether a great and reasonably priced place to stay. We will definitely be back again!

The restaurant felt like it was part of the garden, but completely encased in glass. Está muy descuidado el hotel .... las habitaciones las puertas.. los baños.. la cama.. les urge mantenimiento y remodelarlas.... por lo que cobran no parece de verdad .... La limpieza igual de milagro hacen el cuwrto.. el piso ni lo aspiran ni trapean .. los buroes 3 dias y llenos de polvo .. la cocinita no tienws ni jabon para lavar loa trastes.. La verdad esta muy deteriorado... no volvería a quedarme hasta que le inviertan y le den una muy buena remodelada ... se ve viejo y feo y abandonado

Very nice hotel and service.. We were three in a room and the small foldout couch wasn’t very comfortable Location was ok.. but we spent a lot of time on the red metro line to opera where most of the attractions were Very attentive and friendly staff

A great 4 day stay! Staff was helpful in suggesting places to eat near the hotel and arranging a cab to the airport. Room was large and comfortable. The area was beautiful and easy to walk to most places in the city!

The check-in experience was EXTREMELY disappointing. We purchase an extra night so that when we arrived at the hotel really early in the morning our room would be available; however the room that was assigned to us was NOT the one that we had reserved and it was an up-hill battle to get our reserved room. As if we had not already paid for it, we had to wait until the room became available after 3:00 PM. The hotel assigned us a lower category and visibly much smaller room, even though in both the hotel's website and the Expedia website, the room we had reserved was entirely different. Hence, we had to wait in a room that was not our reserved room until the one we reserved was available. The manager did agree to move us to the room we had reserved, as shown in all the pictures and the description of the room in Expedia and in their own website, but he was reluctant, and in fact he did not budge, in compensating us for their error, our discomfort, and the interruption of our planned event that day. The manager did not offer any type of compensation of any kind as a gesture of their willingness to make their wrong right. Hence, this is a hotel I will never return to. They failed us, and they charged us for a room that was not the one we reserved, even when they knew we had purchased that extra night. The manager displayed complete disregard for acceptable customer care.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is well situated on a quiet street in easy walking distance to many historical sites. There are many restaurants nearby and the breakfast in the hotel was very enjoyable. Our suite had access to a veranda and we used this to enjoy cured ham, cheese and wine on our last evening. A very relaxing time.
