We really enjoyed our stay! It was too cold to use the pool on our patio but the space was still nice! Lots of seating throughout the entire unit (including the balcony)! The only issue that we encountered was a strange smell. I noticed it the first night when we went to bed (it was coming from the comforter). I finally decided that it was a dirty dog smell. I have dogs myself so was not too grossed out by it but it did tell me that they need to sanitize the laundry a little better… Staff was pleasant and the breakfast was perfect! We definitely would stay again!

Nice sized rooms, clean and very centric. Loved the water cooler in the lobby as the days were quite hot. The staff was helpful and friendly. I had stayed there some time ago and did not have a good experience. Now was completely different.

The property was undergoing some work in the lobby. I was shocked when I walked in and feared the worst, but honestly, the staff was wonderfully accommodating, and I didn't find the work disruptive in any way. The staff was vigilant about checking in with me to ensure I was comfortable throughout my stay. I'd definitely visit again. Great property.

Very nice hotel, with great rooms and loby. Everything was very clean and the breakfast buffet was very good. Staff was always very friendly. Only down side: it took at least 10 minutes (not kidding) for the water in the shower to turn hot, really not a green feature for 2024.

Room temperature cannot be controlled, the room was too hot and uncomfortable, we did not get proper sleep the whole time we were there. Cleanliness could be improved as the room was dusty. The staff are friendly and warm.

We had a great stay at Room Mate Alicia. The best thing about this hotel is the location. From here you can easily walk to all the major tourist attractions of central Madrid. There is an endless supply of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast selection was very good. I would highly recommend staying here.

The staff member at checkin was so welcoming and provided us with great info, particularly his recommendation of Casa Alberto which was wonderful. It's a great location in terms of walking to places of interest altho there was a fair bit of construction & roadworks going on when we visited & it's quite noisy at night but it's Madrid! Bed & pillows were beautifully comfy and overall design is clean & funky. Some people may find the bathroom challenging as it's not fully seperate within room. We loved it tho. Will visit again.

Nice place, good location. Room was very tiny, so tiny I needed to roll on the bed to get to the fridge and closet. The hotel is very close to the Spanish Theater. Small, one way street leading to it is very clogged with traffic so if you’re taxiing to the hotel, prepare to be stuck.

Great location, we love plaza Santa Ana and it’s walkability. Only bad thing is that since you’re in front of the plaza it gets noisy at night, so if you’re a light sleeper get a higher floor. The hotel was great.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado, cerca de muchos puntos de interés de la ciudad, limpio y adecuado en costo - beneficio. Hemos estado en dos ocasiones distinstas y nos ha gustado, la atención de Somar en la recepción es magnífica, nos marcó en un plano que él nos regaló todo lo que podríamos ver y conocer, nos trató muy bien y siempre buscaba cómo resolver nuestras dudas y ayudarnos. The staff were lovely and gave us an early checkin when we arrived. The hotel is very centrally located near Sol station and despite being on a square was very quiet as the windows were double glazed. When we came back there was a lovely card and bottle of wine welcoming us back!

The hotel is in a great, central location which is perfect for exploring the city by foot. Our room was a great size and had greener alternatives for soap and shampoo which I liked. It was the service, however, that really sets this property apart. I was traveling with my toddler and the second we set foot in the lobby Eva made us feel so welcome. She is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. All the staff was amazing but she goes above and beyond. We’ll definitely book here first our next trip to Madrid.

The locatipn is amazing. The ropm is comfortable. Our stay was marvelous. We will come back for sure. The front desk people ate polite, efficient and extremely kind. A perfect hotel close ro at least 3 metro lines (within 0.6 km).

We loved the easy access it was to the museums, to dining and to catching a taxi! It was truly very convenient and a great price. The breakfast was awesome, and satisfying each day, plus the breakfast time ended late, so we were able to relax some mornings and still catch breakfast!

Nice location. Stayed previously at Room Mate Alba around the corner. Alba is a much nicer hotel in my opinion. Breakfast options at Alicia are poor and boring and so I'd give it a 4/10 for this. Alba breakfast options are 9/10
