The hotel is actually closed for a refurbishment, there was no actual booking, however the staff sorted 2 rooms for us, very friendly staff.

Friendly and great location with easy parking. Room was clean although a little dated, but as they seem to be renovating sure this will change. A shame lots of hotel is closed for renovations and not mentioned when booking, however the great view, clean and spacious room and ease of stay means I would happily stay again.

The hotel is very basic and is currently being refurbished. There are no dining facilities. The heating wouldn't work in our twin room so we were moved to a family room when I complained. We stayed here as we were walking the Thames path and it's in a great position for that. So hopefully when it's finished it will welcome other walkers.

The hotel has a very rich history and shows its age. It was under major renovations November, 2024. The staff was awesome and the hotel is very clean. There is no elevator and since the lower level is under construction it requires carrying luggage upstairs. There is a secured parking lot at the hotel.
