Good facilities with a pool and spa facilities to use (extra cost) however, it was very busy. The room was comfortable and clean, but lighting was poor for business travel. A desk light is needed. The food was good equality and bar / breakfast staff friendly. Reception less friendly and my room was accessible, which was not what I booked. Good location for work travel.

All in all a pleasant stay. Great bar/fan park area, food was of very good standard, rooms were comfy and some sky tv was a bonus. Corridor carpets and a few places were showing signs of aging, but nothing major. I was disappointed the car park and pool were chargeable extras and the gym/pool can get very busy with none hotel members, but hey ho.

the stay was very pleasant, with the room being spacious enough for 2 in a twin room. The beds were comfy, however there wasn't AC in the room, which made it quite stuffy and very warm, there were 2 upright fans in the room but were quite noisy to have on all night. Also, the carpet floor, especially under the edge of the beds was very grubby, with toe nail clippings still on the floor from presumably another guest. Outside of this, the hotel itself is very nice, the gym & swim facilities are very good, especially the pool & steam room, the changing area is also very clean and tidy.

My stay here on a recent business trip was excellent value for money. I paid a little extra for a club room so I could use the gym facilities which was well stocked and clean. I had a decent meal the night before (nourish bowl), although the bar was slightly noisy it was still laid back and service was good. Breakfast was good quality with plenty on offer, I had a small cooked breakfast and a yoghurt with fruit. The room was clean, tidy with a good shower and a good quality bed. Despite my room being directly located off the staircore I had a good nights sleep with no noise projecting from above/below or via the corridor. The bed was comfortable with a medium mattress and pillows. Overall a very good stay especially for the money and all topped off with a Starbucks to go in the morning.

This place is really a gym and sports bar with a hotel attached: it was a poor experience and we would never return. The room was boiling hot and has no air conditioning. There are two fans in the room: a Dyson that is hard-wired and a portable cheap fan that was full of dust and didn't work. The electric radiator was at its lowest heat setting: we turned it off at the wall. Of our three nights, two were badly disturbed by noise: people shouting and banging doors at all hours of the night. It was so warm that we had to take the quilt out of the duvet cover and open both windows for some ventilation: and this was in February! There were lots of other issues too. The USB sockets on one side of the bed didn't work. There's not wardrobe, just a limited open hanging space. Also the sink tap was so badly covered in limescale that the water sprays all over the sink and all over your groin area. Be warned: you'll get soaked. We didn't eat at the hotel. The Grill and Sports Bar was always noisy and chaotic. It has large TV screens and cinema-style seating full of drunken visitors/residents watching sport. It's not a pleasant place to be so we walked a few minutes to the nearby Beefeater for a more civilised and quieter meal. We had to put up with these issues as family matters were more important, but we would never ever stay here again. Avoid.

Very unclean, there was womens period blood in the bed and after speaking to a member of staff about this I was left waiting in my room for 15 minutes for someone to come and change the bed and when a member of staff did turn up he went to give me sheets to change the bed myself which is totally unacceptable. After telling the staff member this isn’t my job to do it he then went to lay another sheet on top of the blood. He made no apology for this happening to us. We should have been offered a new room as sleeping on top of someone else’s blood is unhygienic. Very very poor experience

Overall I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel which is surprising for a Village Hotel from past experience. The room was cold, the carpet was dirty, there was rubbish left on the floor. There were cobwebs on the being and wall.The only real positive was that the shower pressure was good and there was plenty of hot water. On checkout I explained of my experience and was advised they would try better for next time, which I replied there won't be a next time.

Smells or mould in the corridors. Dead cockroach in the corridor. All the white towels had stains on. The blinds covering the utterly abysmal view fell off. Supplementary toiletry bottles empty. Staff advised we could swim but was turned away by the gym organisation who run the pool because I was with child. Absolutely appalling value for money. Would never recommend to anyone.

Lovely rooms and good price. Very affordable. The rooms might just be becoming a little run down. The shower leaked on to the bathroom floor. There was a wet patch else where in the room but other than that would come again.

The constant noise from the pipe work just outside your room is just to much I have stayed in a twin, double and club room this that this would get me a better position in the hotel well it did not the noise it to much. One towel in a twin room no phone to call down so you would have to walk and get another one, the cleaner is obvisiolousy short as I can see her swip marks from cleaning the shower, tiny hairs in sink, Nice bar area and pool.

The temperature in room 134 was atrocious! It was 32°c inside the room, the windows don’t open past 3” and the Dyson fan in the room only pushed the heat around the room! We also booked a king size and we’re given a double but there was no one on reception just automated check in! There was also no water in the room despite the terrible temperature! Having no air conditioning may save money for the hotel but makes life in the rooms unbearable especially when room is located above the kitchen! ! I would avoid this hotel unless it’s a very cold night!

My room was very noisey, the room was also very hot, the fans were useless and couldn’t have the windows open due to cigarette smoke coming in as my room overlooked the smoking area outside. The room above me had the loudest squeaky floor which kept me awake, had to change rooms at around midnight which isn’t ideal when you are up very early next morning with a long drive home.

I’ve stayed a lot of times here, a few weeks or months between, it’s always a pleasant stay but as always the bar service needs to speed up and the condition of fixtures & fittings are tiring and need sprucing up. The food on this occasion was poor, I had gammon and eggs, all over cooked and the quality wasn’t what it was for the price they charge! The place has gone from actively look to book here to may or may not stay here again, which is a shame.

I had booked 1 night, but ended up staying for 3 as work plans changed. I often stay here as it's consistent and has a great bed and i like the gym and pool, but a few things do bother me when i stay...service is ok, but know one really seems happy to be there, sometimes it's like an inconvenience to have to attend and awareness of customers lacks a lot. A welcoming smile wouldn't hurt sometimes. For my 2nd day the bed was made, but tea/milk etc weren't checked or changed and the 3rd day...bed was not made and still not refresh of the tea tray so no tea for me 2 days running despite being asked at reception when I mentioned that i had extended my stay..and still either the message didnt get through or someone just didn't care. Shower throughout my day also had poor pressure which isn't usually the case so it was not the greatest experience on this occasion. I find the food pretty poor and never enough options. One night i had room service and food was cold..drink forgotten, plus quite expensive for the whole experience really and charge a tray charge on top. I shall rethink if I stay here in future.

One night i had room service and food was cold..drink forgotten, plus quite expensive for the whole experience really and charge a tray charge on top. I shall rethink if I stay here in future.

Not a great experience. I booked a Club Room and when I arrived at 6.00PM I was told the room I had, had not been cleaned and that they needed another 15 minutes to prepare! They offered me a free Starbucks coffee while I waited. 35 minutes later the room was finally ready. To be fair, the receptionist offered me a free drink from the bar with my dinner. I explained I would like to order room service as I had been travelling since 6.00am. He told me that they were offering room service but when I got to my room and went to order, the app said that they were not offering room service. I went back down to the reception and he told me to just order it at the bar and he would deliver to room. It was quite a queue and I did not have my bank card on me so I just went back to my room and ordered via Just Eat. Though they made an effort to put things right, its not what I would expect of Hotel chain that has a reputation to keep up. Disappointing.

My stay here on a recent business trip was excellent value for money. I paid a little extra for a club room so I could use the gym facilities which was well stocked and clean. I had a decent meal the night before (nourish bowl), although the bar was slightly noisy it was still laid back and service was good. Breakfast was good quality with plenty on offer, I had a small cooked breakfast and a yoghurt with fruit. The room was clean, tidy with a good shower and a good quality bed. Despite my room being directly located off the staircore I had a good nights sleep with no noise projecting from above/below or via the corridor. The bed was comfortable with a medium mattress and pillows. Overall a very good stay especially for the money and all topped off with a Starbucks to go in the morning.

The property was easy to get to via cab, I would not advise you to try and walk it as the road gets busy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was large and spacious, only thing I didnt like was the room had no AC, but a Dyson fan was in full use. The room had no fridge to put your water or drinks, no complementary biscuits, or herbal teas. Other wise I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay.

A £5 per night charge to park your car in an out of town hotel is taking the mickey. We had a family room and the twin beds for children had a bit of camp bed feel, very low down. In fairness, they were comfortable, if not a little odd. Other than that, it was a good hotel in a convenient location for the eurotunnel, and I’d use again (including begrudgingly paying the parking fee).

The food in the pub was excellent. You can add buffet breakfast for 10GBP/day (which is actually a good price). You can walk into downtown Maidstone in about 20 minutes, but we went next to the motorway which isnt for the "faint of heart". Im sure the facilities were great (we had a club room) unfortunately the jacuzzi was out of order the days we stayed. I recommend you sign up for the rewards program and grab your free pint in the pub.

Room well equipped and comfortable, though quite stuffy even with the windows open. Not sure I would stay here in hot weather! Staff friendly. Car park costs extra but plenty of space. Has a gym and a pool. Easy to find from M20.

I’ve stayed a lot of times here, a few weeks or months between, it’s always a pleasant stay but as always the bar service needs to speed up and the condition of fixtures & fittings are tiring and need sprucing up. The food on this occasion was poor, I had gammon and eggs, all over cooked and the quality wasn’t what it was for the price they charge! The place has gone from actively look to book here to may or may not stay here again, which is a shame.

First time staying as we normally use Holiday Inn hotels, but we wanted to see how good the gym was and have to say it’s excellent. Pity the breakfast is on the poor side. Nothing worse than powered scrambled eggs that need a steak knife to cut.

Fantastic stay but only one issue. The shower in the hotel room was very cold and the pressure was low. Gym facilities and swimming pool was very good. Food at the pub grill was great and facilities to watch football. Overall, a great stay.

Paid for breakfast but I was not told it stopped being served at 9am Monday to Friday, requested a refund but told it was not possible due to my booking. A little disappointing as 9am is early if your not in a hurry to leave, 10am would be much better.

Ok stay, reception good greeting, bar staff looked bored and unfriendly and took an age to get served, with house wine unavailable. Limited bar menu on photocopied A4 paper, and even that was some not available. Breakfast no eggs and watered down orange juice, cheap sausages. This place is only just a shadow of its past. Shame because the pool and gym was superb else would not consider returning. I have stayed in most village hotels in the last few years, this was by far the worst.

The room was ridiculously hot. I totally understand the weather has changed of recent however as a high end hotel provisions should be made. I had to go to reception 3 times to get fans. The original fan in the room worked poorly and made a loud buzzing noise. The next fan didn’t work, the next two were filthy and covered my wife’s wine and snacks in dust when we turned it on. I said to staff I’d leave and asked for a refund to be told nothing could be done until 3 days later whem management returned. It took me to call them 4 days later to discuss. I’ve been told a manager will email me in the next 24hours. Utterly disappointed as I could have got a cheaper hotel with better standard 1 mile down the road. I’ll not be returning.
