Stayed the night with our 6 year ahead of visiting an exhibition at The Trafford Centre the following day. The stay turned into an equally special part of the weekend using the pool together and enjoying the great food. Also charged out EV overnight which made the weekend even better.

Very good stay, gym and amenities excellent, very close to where needed to be however getting out of junction can be a bit tricky at busy time. eating facilities for a family were great, but over priced but you expect that. Only complaint was the pillows were terrible, asked for firmer ones but none available, didn’t effect stay but didn’t sleep great because of it. Would stay again.

Hotel is lovely, very welcoming and cosy at Christmas. Food is restaurant was lovely at both dinner and breakfast. Unfortunately, pool was closed when we arrived and we were unable to use it when we wanted later that day, which was a shame as we were looking forward to a dip.

Not a huge amount to say, some areas very dated. Quite a basic hotel in terms of rooms, no coffee machine, fridge and standard facilities of the likes of a Travelodge. Sports and leisure area felt more like a council run leisure area. Sauna broken, minimal loungers that were very stained and old. Clean and staff were nice enough. Lovely location for some nice walks along the canal.

We had a great stay at Worsley Park. The location was perfect for a daily stroll to RHS Bridgewater. Excellent service from all the staff we encountered and especially those in the restaurant. Breakfast was superb each day and we also thoroughly enjoyed all our evening meals. Our only criticism is that the cleanliness of our room could have been better.

This was an extremely disappointing stay. From the moment of check-in, the staff were unhelpful, said nothing about the facilities, WiFi etc, just pre-charged my card with the whole stay cost (not the usual £100). It is clearly not their policy to offer any perks to Mariott elite members, that happens and is OK, but staff are usually polite and don't just say "We're not going to upgrade you". The facilities were adequate, if a little basic. I really do resent, in this day and age, having to move furniture and unplug the bedside limp in order to plug in medical equipment. Most hotels do better these days. On the second day, I went into the bathroom and found dozens of ants crawling through a crack in the tiles. This was on an inside wall and in an upstairs room, so there is clearly an ant nest in the building. This really isn't a sign of good hygiene, neither was the small piece of plastic on the carpet that remained in the same place under the desk for our entire 3 night stay... suggesting that they really don't take cleaning seriously. I have a video of the dozens of ants crawling around, but can't upload it here... I have booked many hundreds of nights of hotel stays through Hotels.com and this is the worst review I have ever needed to write. A shamefully bad experience.

The room was clean, comfortable and fairly quiet, but the bathroom was dated and a little battered and could do with an upgrade. The staff were very friendly and helpful, thank you! The breakfasts were amazing, such a great variety and well cooked, genuinely something for everyone, the best buffet breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel. The pool area was a bit of a keg down unfortunately and didn’t seem very clean, and we had dinner one night in the sports bar which was not very good at all, so we were disappointed in that and wouldn’t recommend eating in the bar.

Deluxe room is basic. No fridge. No robes even though they have a spa and advertise robes. Restaurants and gym are the main pull for this hotel. They rooms and beds are comfy but Deluxe room is not worth the extra money.

Amazing place to stay for family. Gym, pool and sports side were perfect. Got conflicting information from reception staff and leisure staff on timings of swimming and gym so walk down first and ask to make sure. Room with two double beds was good with plenty of space. Nice and quiet area to relax. Breakfast was good, lots of choices on offer. Food was abit pricey for whole family to eat so we had to go down the road two minutes to local pub which was good for families. Check out was easy. No goodbye and thank-you for staying from both reception staff considering they were both doing nothing at the time. Small things go along way if you want people to return. But one member of leisure club was amazing to us, wishing my son happy birthday, he was well chuffed so thank-you. Overall we were all happy with the stay and the price was excellent.

Return visit as in offer and thought I would give the hotel another go. Check in / out all good Bedroom was fine and facilities were good. Gym and pool a bounus if you get time to use them. Staff were all very polite and acknowledged you. Always appears busy in the car park, very tight bays and cars double parked I had to park at the rear car park which a walk to reception. Food and portions not great if you are hungry, I felt over priced but typical for a captured audience. I have dislike where any establishment puts on a a service charge, although “discretionary” it’s forced as compulsory unless you challenge the unauthorised charge. Over all would try again but eat off site.

A great location just off the motorway network and especially handy if visiting RHS Bridgwater. The rooms are spacious and very well equipped. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were really helpful and accommodating. We would highly recommend this place.

Lovely hotel . Superb choice at breakfast. I found everyone working here to be polite and professional, all areas clean and would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to be close enough to Manchester to visit yet feel away from the hustle and bustle to relax and recharge .

Nice Hotel if you like grey, long corridors of grey. Breakfast, whilst very nice, is expensive for what you get. Reception staff were delightful, grounds very well kept and a perfect location for visiting RHS Bridgewater or Manchester itself.

Arrived check in easy,went to the sports bar for a meal which we thought a bit expensive £18 steak and ale pie which was nice but the pastry was rock hard not worth the money.Hotel room was nice but when we arrived back after a long night the bathroom was flooded.Broken gasket had to move rooms, which when we moved there were cobwebs and a spider which frightened my granddaughter. Offered a free breakfast which we accepted. Overall the hotel is lovely but just our experience ruined by the faulty room .

Hotel is in a nice location and generally it’s ok - however, food prices are ridiculous. Massively overpriced and moderate quality. Spent £90 on a bar meal for two which probably cost considerably around £6/ £7 max to put together in terms of ingredients cost. The place was empty and with good reason.
