Centrally located at the heart of Makati’s financial district. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast included with stay is good. Offers lots of choices with shopping from bargains to luxury name brands. Hotel’s room price is very competitive. About 30 minutes from the airport.

Great hotel and pleasant & helpful staff. I love that the Ascott is basically connected to Glorietta but there is no direct access to the mall anymore. I was upgraded which I appreciated, I enjoyed the daily breakfast. There was only 1 thing to complain about which was being a higher class hotel you would expect a larger selection of channels available to the guests, while in the room I like to watch movies but there was no HBO or CINEMAX during my stay there.

The parking for Ascott is not clear. We parked at Basement 2 (B2), when we should be parking at Basement 3 (B3) so we paid for overnight parking when it should be free. Also, when I checked out I asked the staff to validate my parking ticket. I was told to go down to the basement. Level 6 elevator took us down to level B3 (basement 3) only. We got there and there was a reception desk so I again asked to validate my ticket and was told to go to the security. I was looking for security and couldn't find one. I went upstairs to where the car is parked on B2 and then head towards exit. We got to the exit and they won't let us out until we show a voucher from Ascott. I asked them to call Ascott so they can validate our stay. The cashier did not have the ability to call so she called on the supervisor who informed us that we should have parked on B3. There was no sign that Ascott guests should park on B3 else we would have parked there. There was only one cashier so by the time we left there was a long line of cars. Very inefficient process. Let me know if you are able to communicate this with Ascott and if they solve the issue. Thanks.

If you are going to be staying in Makati and would like to have the best customer service in Manila and the NCR, then book a stay at the Ascott. We were so pleased with the ease of parking and check in. Take the elevator down to the ground level and the entrance to the mall is only 20 feet or so to your left. The hotel is in very nice condition and the amenities are above average. I have not stayed at a hotel with a nicer gym. The complimentary breakfast should be a gold medal winner for the variety, quality, and speed of service. The real stars at the Ascott are the staff. I have never had such good service in Manila or the NCR. Cathy and the other staff members serving during breakfast top the list of greats at the Ascott. We used to live in BGC and it is normally our place to stay when we visit the NCR, but not anymore. The Ascott has won us over.
