A lovely hacienda hotel with a mix of old and new. The main swimming pool is fantastic, and the food/drinks offer of a high standard (if expensive) with very professional service level throughout. Our modern room was incredible with outside shower, bath, terrace area, and bed. Although some of the original hacienda charm is being lost by the hotel's expansion, it is being sensitively done with beautiful landscaping and spa area. Note that there is building work going on overlooking the main pool, but not overly intrusive. For peaceful enjoyment, the hotel may also need to think about making one of the two other pools into a children's area or enforcing clearer etiquette on pool use.

Me fue más o menos , no tuvimos servicio de cortesía en la noche ni toallas adicionales , en el servicio del Concierge le pedimos una recomendación para donde comer en Celestúm y nos mandó al hotel XInxim que está a 30 minutos de Celestún y resulta que está cerrado desde 2020 y perdimos casi una hora y medio de nuestro tiempo y es increíble que el gimnasio no tenga caminadoras para la categoría del hotel , así que varios puntos por mejorar y que una propiedad de esta calidad no le puede faltar y más por el dinero de sus tarifas

Etwas außerhalb von Merida gelegen (aber sehr gut erreichbar von dort, mit Taxi/Uber), in einem prinzipiell ruhigen und sehr schön angelegten Gelände. Der Aufenthalt insbesondere in der Pool Area wird derzeit allerdings tagsüber stark von Baulärm beeinträchtigt. Sehr aufmerksames Personal. Gutes Speiseangebot/Frühstück.

Quelle déception :( Nous avions hâte de venir découvrir cet hôtel qui semblait superbe sur son site web. Mais nous avons eu beaucoup de déconvenues : chambre mal nettoyée, piscine sale, problème d'allocations des chambres, service bar de très mauvaise qualité (sûrement le pire cocktail de l'année, et très cher). Avant l'arrivée nous avions reçu beaucoup de messages (via l'agence, via WhatsApp, via email), nous avions répondu à tout et même rempli un online checkin. Mais lors de l'arrivée ils nous ont tout re demandé. Pour le dîner nous nous attendions à une expérience gastronomique (la hacienda est connue pour ses plats bien travaillés) mais le jour J le menu était très basique et International. Les plats étaient chers et dans saveur. Pour le petit déjeuner nous avons pris des œufs Bénédicte : 45-50 minutes d'attente pour avoir des œufs durs (beaucoup trop cuits) sur du pain :( Faites aussi attention, l'annonce présente une chambre de 88m2 mais c'était moins de la moitié en réalité. Le lieu est cependant magnifique, dommage que cela se soit si mal passé.

Las personas son muy amables, pero no me gustó que en la habitación no funcionaba el teléfono para enlazar a Room servicio tuve que marcar al hotel para que me enlacen desde mi cel. No hicieron el cuarto hasta que se les pido a las 3:00 pm, que regresamos de la alberca Pero no limpiaron la copa que usé en la noche la dejaron sucia Creo que si hay que cuidar esos detalles, por el costo

Muy agradable la parte del hotel desarrollada en lo que fue hacienda. Lamentablemente, hay una parte al fondo del hotel, en torno a la alberca, que NO tiene nada que ver con una hacienda, ni en arquitectura ni en nada. Falló el WC y tardaron más de una hora en acudir; no me parece justificable, aún habiendo sido 26 de diciembre, pues es temporada alta vacacional. En los demás hoteles de Yucatán en los que me he hospedado, no hay cuota por mascota, pero aquí sí.

El check in fue malo, nos mandaron a una habitación que ya estaba ocupada, esperamos ahí dentro de la habitación por unos minutos 😅😅, hasta que nos asignaron otra, que tenía unos muebles sucios llenos de arena y muy rayados…luego me hablan para mover la camioneta y ellos son los tienen las llaves del vehículo, creo el hotel tenía muy buena ocupación y ellos no tenían la capacidad para operarlo, me he hospedado en otras ocasiones y todo había sido maravilloso…

We don’t usually complain but considering the cost of this place and the fact that it’s supposed to be a luxury hotel I have to explain. Firstly the staff are excellent and very attentive and the rooms are beautiful. The main pool is very nice but the sun bed covers are really dirty, the second pool is very dirty and not even usable. We were seated indoors next to a “window” for dinner but it was just a curtain covering while construction workers worked with machinery right next to our table, it was very noisy and strange, and it was also Sunday. We ordered the guacamole, caprese salad and NY steak tacos and everything was overly salty. The tacos were full of grizzle and fat and we had a hard time finding any meat in them. We finally decided to make a comment about this one thing and they did take it off the bill. I was also eaten by mosquitoes the whole way through dinner, maybe because of the curtain instead of a window because of construction, but when I asked the front desk for mosquito repellent they sent us down the street to a store. We’ve stayed in many luxury and 5 star hotels and this just doesn’t make the cut considering the prices they charge, you just don’t get the experience. In our opinion it’s way overpriced and the food is not great at all.

El lugar es espectacular, la gente es muy amable, siempre con buena actitud y sonrisa, la habitación estaba padrísima solo que la limpieza en ella era bastante deficiente, los vidrios tanto del wc como la regadera estaban todos marcados, el piso lleno de animalitos y el lavabo muy salpicado

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loved the property it’s really beautiful our room was perfect. We had a plunge pool in the patio so it was perfect. We truly enjoyed our one night stay wish I would have booked for longer. The service at the restaurant was really nice. The server was really attentive and friendly. We did see a tarantula and snake but it’s part of the jungle. They did remove the tarantula that was on the stairs. It’s a gorgeous hacienda and not far from the city. Highly recommended this place it’s worth visiting. It’s really clean and the experience of the jungle is very nice.

Todo en general bien, las habiataciones súper bien reserve 2, la alberca principal muy a gusto! solo en los restaurantes, demoran demasiado, todos los días que pedimos, el primer día 1:30 en traernos los platos en la alberca, en el restaurante para desayunar, a todos nos servían a diferente tiempo y muy tardados, la última noche decidimos no cenar ahí por lo mismo, es muy buena cocina pero el tiempo de espera es demasiado

El check in fue malo, nos mandaron a una habitación que ya estaba ocupada, esperamos ahí dentro de la habitación por unos minutos 😅😅, hasta que nos asignaron otra, que tenía unos muebles sucios llenos de arena y muy rayados…luego me hablan para mover la camioneta y ellos son los tienen las llaves del vehículo, creo el hotel tenía muy buena ocupación y ellos no tenían la capacidad para operarlo, me he hospedado en otras ocasiones y todo había sido maravilloso…

Absolutely loved this property. The staff is excellent, they all know your name immediately and no matter who is near you they are asking if we need anything and are there to assist in anyway. The property is quiet and beautiful.

Fabulously fantastic place to stay. From start to finish the entire experience was impeccable. I particularly enjoyed the Olympic length pool, the outdoor patio (complete with hammock) and the additional outdoor shower in the room. The grounds are paradise-esque, with quaint creatures to admire at ground level and in the skies . The dining options were also sublime. It is 30 mins drive from the main Merida square, however it is a beautiful oasis tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Worth visiting to admire the grounds of the Hacienda, even if just for a day trip.

Hermoso hotel super servicio de todo el personal que te hacen sentir en casa, la habitación que tuvimos fue con alberca privada, una hermosa y cómoda habitación en el lado nuevo de la hacienda, la alberca común hermosa con temperatura muy agradable. La comida fue excelente! Lo super recomiendo y esta bien ubicado si la idea es ir a varios atractivos cercanos a Merida como Progreso, Celestun, Sisal, etc. Esta como a 20 minutos del centro. Regresaremos seguro!

Beautiful grounds! Hotel is not in a nice area, but as soon as you enter is a different story. Far from city center and Paseo de Montejo. Please don’t be naive and use your safe box, even if you go to the pool, money got taken from my purse when I left it in the room and not on the safe. Don’t think because is a nice Hotel nothing will happen. It happened. Be alert.

Everything was great. Service is amazing, they really did an extra effort everytime. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, they have a great terrace with a nice whirlpool and view to the gardens. The restaurant is excelent, everyhting was so well prepared. Make sure you have a car, or access to transportation, since the hotel is 20 to 30 minutes form the city center. Hope to get back soon.

Hacienda Xcanatún is a “Hidden gem”. Located at the outskirts of Merida, is an easy drive to paseo Montejo (15 minutes) or to Progreso ( 15 minutes). The rooms are spacious and the service incredible. Very good restaurant. The only negative: the streets leading to the area are not well maintained. Some houses need help with painting / restoration. I am aware the Xcanatún foundation is trying to help. Hopefully the surrounding neighborhood can benefit from tourism as well.

A lovely hacienda hotel with a mix of old and new. The main swimming pool is fantastic, and the food/drinks offer of a high standard (if expensive) with very professional service level throughout. Our modern room was incredible with outside shower, bath, terrace area, and bed. Although some of the original hacienda charm is being lost by the hotel's expansion, it is being sensitively done with beautiful landscaping and spa area. Note that there is building work going on overlooking the main pool, but not overly intrusive. For peaceful enjoyment, the hotel may also need to think about making one of the two other pools into a children's area or enforcing clearer etiquette on pool use.

Es un lugar precioso, con atención de absolutamente todo el staff increíble, atentos a lo que necesitaras. Lo único es que el buffet es muy básico, el café quemado y en cuanto al servicio de restaurante, no nos pareció que los alimentos fueran top. Quizá sería buena idea techar el estacionamiento.
