Lovely stay. Staff and service excellent. Very restricted on when we could use the pool due to swimming classes. Hotel had a very nice bar and restaurant area. Breakfast was very nice and a good choice although it finished at 9am. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and we would definitely stay again.

Convenient location, close to railway station and retail parks. Friendly, helpful staff. Good sauna. Good value electric vehicle charging. Comfortable bed and hot shower. Good selection at breakfast. BUT… Carpet in room VERY worn and full of stains. Furniture ok but dated. Pool used by baby & toddler swimming company much of the time, so restricted to one guest family at a time and you have to book a time at reception when busy.

We only stayed for 1 night, the hotel was clean and comfortable, i feel like the rooms could do with updating to go with the rest of the hotel, but no issues with the room otherwise, wasnt noisy either The pool didn't get too busy considering it was summer hols and that was very clean, bar area/ restaurant was very nice Breakfast was good Staff were friendly and helpful

I did not like anything about the stay. My room was 243. The bathroom had a strong urine smell. The room had a smoky smell to it. The carpet was heavily stained with an odour. The curtains were hanging off the rails. No telephone in room to ring reception. The bed was uncomfortable and set off my sciatica to the point I had to go to the hospital. My mum slipped and fell coming out the shower as the hotel had no bath mats! I want a refund and im looking forward to hearing back from you soon!

My stay was short but good , the hotel had a pool and spa which came in handy Kid friendly Good choice of breakfast in the morning and staff are helpful and friendly The only thing that was a little off was the continuous bad smell of the toilets in my room but if the door is kept closed the smell goes away till you enter again ( it must be a sewage thing )

We stayed in room 110 and the toilet was smelling of urine really really bad. We ignored the first day thinking when they clean it the next day it would be gone, but no it was still very bad. Told the hotel staff and they offered to move us but it was late as my kids already sleeping, guess should’ve mentioned it the first instant of using the toilet. Overall the stall was nice.

The bedrooms were very large and clean with all you need. Unfortunately, in the reception area we found the settees very dirty. Terrible stains on the fabric, so thought I would turn the seat cushions over and see if it would be any better….only to find sticky sweet wrappers and crumbs stuck on the other side, obviously not been cleaned for months ☹️ disappointing.

All hotel staff were polite, friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Our room and the majority of the hotel and its facilities were spotlessly clean. The hotel food was excellent. The breakfast was quite expensive considering it was not included, but there was a wide choice of options for every dietary requirement. Not a major issue, but the area of the gym used for stretching (which was located behind the machines was quite dusty in the corners and they could do with some new mats in that area. The two that were there were quite worn, but just a small detail which may only be noticed by someone who does a lot of floor exercises! Other than this minor detail, I can definitely recommend this hotel.

Generous sized rooms. Separate toilet from the en-suite bathroom is either a good thing or a bad thing, depending on your preference I guess. Needs plug sockets near the bed, and USBs would be good. Shower is very weak.

After 20-plus years coming to Milton Keynes and using the town as a sort-of "home base" for my broader travels in England, this was my first time staying at Novotel MK. For the most part, I had a very positive stay. The location was just on the edge of town...quieter than my usual MK Central hotel locations, and an easier drive in and out with ample on-site parking. But it was not a short or easy walk to the central shops and restaurants, something I'm used to...especially for stays longer than a night or two. However, the in-hotel restaurant had good food at reasonable rates. It also had a nice bar and lounge are, but drinks were on the more expensive side. The staff throughout the hotel were very nice and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. However, there was one area where the hotel fell short, in my opinion. The room did not have ANY dedicated mobile device USB or USB C charging ports. So, you only had one handy regular electrical outlet at the desk for use to charge your devices. I'm retired but am a writer, so I have my mobile phone, as well as my laptop, a tablet, and a smart watch. This is not uncommon these days, especially for a hotel that caters to a heavy weekday, traveling worker crowd. So, this lack of basic update—which I've thankfully had in all of my other hotel experiences in Milton Keynes, both in the more basic and more luxurious properties—is enough to question whether I'd return for anything more than a one-night stay.

Second bed (sofa) not really suitable for more than one night, lumpy, uneven and uncomfortable. Hotel and staff great, only one thing spoilt our stay, "air conditioned" Maybe in general areas but room, no! When I enquired I was told rooms not air conditioned but air cooled? NOT the same, room was warm, stuffy and humid.

Noise levels were completely unacceptable for a family friendly hotel. There was a large group of residents who seemed to have the complete run of the hotel with no thought for other residents. Hotel staff weren’t policing this group at any stage, resulting in an awful experience.

I dreaded going out of my room because I had to go back to the reception on each of such ocassions for help with the door key. The WhatsApp number provided to reach the reception was not attended to when I needed heater in the room because the heating system wasn't working. I had to go to the reception where I was handed a heater. I certainly will not use the facility again.

Super comfy bed, but very outdated room. The reason for the poor star review was the service.. I waited 25 minutes to check in as 3 staff on the reception desk were dealing with an issue with a single party in front of me. After finally checking in, I went to the bar to find no bartender, where I joined a queue of customers who had been waiting for a while already. Another 15 minutes later I could 'relax' with a pint, feeling very frustrated.

I love this place! The layout is so welcoming! The pool is lovely and clean. The bar area is cosy, and the restaurant is set out nicely with a lovely ambiance. The breakfast was delicious and really well cooked. The staff are just exceptional! Absolutely every single person we spoke to could not do enough to help, and nothing was a problem. I had a knee replacement 2 weeks before our stay, and had not realised I’d need an accessible room, and although the first night they had none available, first thing next morning they moved us to one. This is one of the friendliest hotels I’ve ever stayed, and it’s totally down to the wonderful staff. Omar… you were brilliant! As was the lovely chap who helped me out of the taxi last night just as he was leaving his shift. Thank you all so much x

Information provided at check in stated that the restaurant would be open during the week and on a sunday food would be provided at the bar, but for the entire duration the food was only served at the bar, I'm unsure if the restaurant would of had a different menu but given it was a busy bank school holiday week, there would have been the foot fall to open the restaurant as expected. The menu was too limited for my 5 night business stay for me to enjoy the food, and items were unavailable for my entire duration, and there was no option to bill the room for my meals, a payment was required every time unlike at other chains i have stayed at within All. 2 separate days within my stay my key card stopped working, requiring me to return to reception. The 1st instance my replacement key also didn't work, so I had to return to reception again, the staff were friendly but the inconvenience wasn't appreciated. The 2nd day, the delay in entering my room was not appriciated as i was loaded with bags and requiered the restroom and did not wish to use the communal restroom after use the day before as 2 out of the 3 toilets were not left in a pleasent condition, this is a guest usage issue I understand. however having to go back down with my bags to reception when i have already puhed myself wasn't, and for the 2nd day in a row, i was very diapointed, only for the 2nd staff member not surving me to make a joke asking if i was on the correct floor.. Finnaly my final night before an exam, i
