Huge splendorous hotel. Massive lobby with a Red Grand piano & chic bar. With views of the necklace. The rooms are modern & large. Suites are the BEST ! As they include lounge access with cocktails at 7-9pm Breakfasts were superb Service amazing. Attached to Gucci & the trident hotel. Pool was large & heated too. Food prices were high but the 20% off with hotels.com was very welcome !!

Exceptional service and an indulgent stay in Mumbai We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Oberoi Mumbai. Having previously stayed at the Oberoi in Delhi, we knew there was nowhere else we’d rather be for our time in the city — and it didn’t disappoint. • The service was, as always with Oberoi, outstanding — the best we’ve experienced across any hotel chain. • We were checked in directly in our room, which was made available early (around 11am) — a thoughtful touch that made our arrival seamless. • Breakfast was a daily highlight, with an extensive à la carte menu and something for every palate. • The gym and spa facilities were excellent, and we thoroughly enjoyed our massage. • While the pool is on the smaller side, it still offers a relaxing escape from Mumbai’s heat. A note of caution: the hotel transfers are very expensive (~£100), especially compared to booking a large Uber (~£10). There are likely more reasonable options in between. All in all, a truly memorable stay. We’re still dreaming of the scent of those beautiful bathroom products. Highly recommend.

The staff at this hotel were superb, especially Mallika and Nabeel. Very helpful booking dinner reservations (Trishna is a must), as well as guides and drivers, airport transportation, etc. And, they accommodated us for a late breakfast even though they had finished serving. Our room was well appointed with a separate living room area and it overlooked the bay. Very comfortable. You must get a cocktail for happy hour at their outdoor bar - pretty views! The sister hotel, The Trident, is next door and as a guest at The Oberoi, you have access to their amenities as well... a big pool, workout room, and spa. Had a nice massage there too. Overall, I highly recommend The Oberoi!

The stay was truly amazing. The staff were so welcoming and always willing to go the extra mile to make the stay enjoyable. I had a problem with my suitcase zip. The hotel sent a man to fix it. Amazing, now no stress about a broken suitcase. The bar is amazing too, well staffed and great selection of drinks. The gym is well equipped. I am into weight training. Certainly didn’t disappoint. The pool at the Oberoi and the Trident were both great too.

The service at Oberoi is warm and attentive. English is well spoken. The hotel public spaces are breathtaking and serene. My room had a beautiful view. At the outside bar, sunsets and cocktails were brilliant. Early in the morning, it was nice to cross the street, Marine Drive, to sit on the seawall and watch the day begin. Many joggers, yoga, strollers.

Nice and compact rooms, comfy beds and shower area. Breakfast was nice, had to order hot food from the vast menu, which I feel was a good idea as we can get freshly prepared food from the kitchen. Check in and check out process was super fast, directly walked up to the room, no waiting. Excellent concierge and staff attitude as always. Thanks to the team.

The property is beautiful. Rooms and Amenities are very good. Clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, the front desk staff is incompetent. It took an eternity to check in and check out. After they took over 30 minutes to check me out and pay for two rooms, they informed my colleague his room was not paid, so now I’m dealing with that.

You really can't leave the Oberoi without feeling happy and refreshed. The oasis of calm, the lovely reassuring fragrance, the attentive but never pushy staff. The amazing picture postcard views over the bay as the sun sets, the queen's necklace glimmering at night and cocktails overlooking the water. It's mesmerising. Love bringing my family to any Oberoi property. And Mumbai is no different. The only thing to improve is that Uber still doesn't recognise the Oberoi entrance and get taxis to come to the Trident hotel.

Comfortable stay, room was on 16th floor Clean rooms, great amenities & fluffiest towels ever Breakfast at Vetro was superb, great quality food & a great team who took time explaining the Indian breakfast dishes & assisting us to choose (the masala Dosa was the best ever !) All the team were great, we were in the section that Rishab looked after at breakfast & he was exceptional We booked airport transfer through the hotel as we were arriving in the early hours, it was a little expensive at just under £100 (when you compare other options) but was very efficient & the driver was waiting for us in a Mercedes, it was worth it for peace of mind after a long flight Excellent check in even though we arrived at 2am There is a small pool at the hotel but you can also use the larger pool in their sister hotel next door in the Trident The hotel is a good location, quiet & safe, away from the bustle of Colaba but also accessible to main areas with on foot or cheaply in an uber & its good to have electric options We took an uber electric which we called from the hotel for our return journey to the airport, was a smooth easy journey & cost around £10 Would definitely recommend this hotel

I stayed at the Oberoi two times in a two week period upon arrival and departure in India. The first stay was the perfect landing into the country after a 23 hour journey. The staff was welcoming and helpful after such a long time. The room was luckily upgraded and we entered into a true sanctuary. Everything is immaculately clean. The rooms are spacious. It's a nice walk to the sea for sunset and close to cool shopping like Kala Ghoda and Colaba. It's quiet and beautiful. The staff was all extremely helpful with my severe seafood allergy and made me feel confident and attended to. We loved our first stay so much that we canceled our other reservation in Mumbai for the end of the trip and rebooked at Oberoi. And it did not disappoint

Most comfortable beds, awesome food at Indiana Jones and Vettro. Room service was very accommodating and good. Chef Stefan Chin and Chef Rohan deserve special mention. The Indian breakfast dishes were outstanding.. everytime. Need more gluten free and dairy free choices on the menu. Allergy sufferers don’t have a choice, it’s not a lifestyle choice.

A lovely hotel with stunning views of Marine Drive and the Sunset if you like that. The hotel location was perfect for us there was lots to do and taxis were abundant outside to take you anywhere. The restaurants at the hotel are great and the there is lots of food choices to try. We tried everything and whilst a little pricey, we were not disappointed with any of them. The hotel service from all the staff was great, could not fault it at all. All pleasant to speak with and knowledgeable on questions on Mumbai from a tourist perspective. It was also great to have open access to The Trident although we only walked through this and did not use any of its services. The Spa facilities were great and both my husband and I indulged in a massage, We had to have different times and rooms which was ok as we booked very last minute. The experience was nice but it was hard to understand the lady as her English was not great. Other than that all the rest of the staff’s English was fine. I would like to specially call out Avinash at the Vetro Restaurant whose knowledge on Pairing of wines to food was excellent! Thank you for a special evening of cheese and wine! I would definitely stay here again.
