Hotel is conveniently located close to Mumbai Airport Terminal 1. The hotel and rooms are very nice, but staff doesn’t seem to be very engaged. A big put off was that the room floor had not been swept for days, there was dust and dirt that would have easily cleaned up with a light vacuum or mop. But other than that the room was very nice. They do charge for a pickup or drop off to either terminal.

Stayed in the club lounge. No stranger to this Hotel great potential but underutilised....club lounge closed since COVID but rooms still given out with " access to Executive lounge". Nice hotel but surrounded by slums....nice staff, friendly and good breakfast food.

The overall stay was good and comfortable. Just that the pillows provided, even though soft, are too thick. It doesn't give a comfortable sleep. Also I found the food prices a little high. Apart form these, teh hotel offer a free airport shuttle. I took the same but at the time of checkout i was asked to pay saying that the free service is only for drop to airport from hotel and not for pick-up which was deceiving and hence should be made clear in their policies.

We loved the traditional decor of the hotel with rich woodwork and artistic touches. The staff were friendly and the restaurants were amazing. The South Indian restaurant had very nice fare but was somewhat inefficient as dishes took a while to arrive. Self service would be better. Loved the buffet style temptations restaurant. The coffee shop and gift shop were expensive as expected. Will definitely consider staying again.

Food is good. Maintenance is poor though. The washbasin was getting choked and the temperature of the water in the shower was inconsistent. Afzal at the salon is very competent and so is the head chef in the restaurant.

Deep clean all rooms, windows, and beds. 2. Replace carpeting with easily cleanable flooring. 3. Eliminate the overwhelming bleach smell and use a more pleasant, breathable scent. 4. Staff needs to be trained in the restaurants. Rooms are full of dust under the bed and you can smell the mold as you walk in the building. Spent one week at this property and got totally sick due to the unclean rooms. Will not return to this property.

Room I booked was in old wing it seems, had really bad mould and or other smell, unbearable, Dusty room, table lamp had cob webs, furniture was so worn out and look horrible, overall extremely poor hygiene, air cond also was giving out some type smell. After complaining, they mention they have a newer wing but room rates are different and much higher, only good thing was they upgraded me to the new wing for no charge. New wing room was good, well cleaned, no smell, in good overall condition and up to good standards. Hotel should clearly mention this old wing and new wing rooms. Overall I will say thank you to hotel staff for the upgrade and solving the problem.

The first room we were given had a terrible damp and mould smell. After complaining, we were moved to the Club wing of the hotel, which was much nicer. However, the damp smell still penetrates most of the main wing of the hotel, and should be investigated.

First of all, this is a 3 star hotel at best (false claim as a 5 star written on the signboard. It’s one of the most disgusting hotel that I’ve stayed (I’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels across the globe). The room & the hallway have this rotten smell (from the carpets) and they try to mask the stench with some awful smell of fragrance or incense. The windows in the room are fixed to the wall & can’t let the fresh air into the room. The fridge & toilet are filthy with brown stains. The bed sheet has some brown stains. The list goes on… The reception counter is super slow where male staffs were busy talking with local flight attendants. I received multiple calls during my sleep where (1) they wanted to rescan my passport (2) advertise their cafe in the lobby, really!!? I visited the cafe but was sweltering within minutes. Take my advice, if you’re from a foreign country, stay elsewhere - you will thank me for it.

Have stayed at the orchid a few times before. This time, I wasn't as happy as previous times. The electric water kettle seemed to have some issue, so not only did it not boil water for tea etc., but you got a small current when you touched the kettle. Ordered food from room service. One of the items ordered was paratha and it showed paratha on the bill but when opened everything, it looked more like an ordinary roti/chapati

The hotel staff broke out luggage during check in while they were scanning our luggage, we brought the issue to the manager and manager denied next day, we asked them to check camera's as well and we told them we don't need money back, we just asked for help with our luggage but staff denied, worst experience, highly recommend dont offer this hotel even on your website.

I liked the proximity to airport. Only suggestion I have is they need to use bathroom cleaning agent that’s non bleach. Room was clean but had a very strong bleach smell that made me cough all night. They did show willingness to change the room. Did not try breakfast . Had dinner at South of Vindhyas that was ok.
