If you are paying full money and more than taj SZ, JW, trident BKC and Sofitel and still you are not told that there is some construction going on which will affect your stay - that’s not good at all.

I really enjoyed this hotel after trying to stay with a friend's cousin in Mumbai. It is a bit tired around the edges, there are signs of some wear but it is still a haven of comfort and tranquility compared to the rest of Mumbai. All the staff are extremely nice and helpful. It is some of the guests that bring the tone down. I observed rudeness to staff in the form of yelling, inappropriate attire like appearing to breakfast in pajamas and hotel slippers, ill-behaved children etc. Mumbai itself is not a pleasant experience but that's not the hotel's fault. As soon as you turn the corner from the hotel drive, you are surrounded by the typical filth, noise and squalor that make up most of the city. It is surprisingly quiet for being so close to the airport. I didn't hear any aircraft noise, not even outdoors by the pool. You hear some faint traffic noises there but it's not too bad. I had a room facing the front of the hotel and the street. You could hear the ever-present honking through the window but it wasn't too loud. The food buffets are lavish and varied, bed are super comfortable and the concierge service goes above and beyond. I really enjoyed the gym, steam room and pool. It was worth staying here from a few days to recover from Mumbai's noise and pollution.

Overall great stay for a few days. The property is very well kept, very central and easy to get to transportation as needed. Staff are very friendly and kind. Breakfast buffet had many good options. Room service was generally good (don’t recommend the belly of pork, so much soft barely cooked fat). The bed was super comfortable and pillows just right. Water pressure in the shower excellent. Only major complaint was the loudness of the on site club. Was so loud for hours that we couldn’t sleep. Possibly because of the location of our room? Our friends on the other side of the hotel did not have the same issue.

I’ve stayed at the Hyatt before and it has never disappoint. The restaurants were fantastic. The pool was nice except no drinking allowed by the pool, also the jacuzzi was out of service which was disappointing. The spa for ladies was nice clean and had all the amenities, my husband said the men’s side was nice until he was forced to get out of the jacuzzi because there was a sewage back up and was starting to enter the jacuzzi. I was given the option for room upgrades because I booked 3 rooms; I opted for an apartment three bedrooms two living rooms a balcony kitchen and each room had their own bathroom, it was nice for the space but it was very outdated. The tv were not smart TVs thank god I had my own HDMI cable and iPad to connect to the tv to watch something because the TV had not to even watch. The facility over all is a good stay but once again the surrounding area was terrible alot of poverty people begging it was hard to walk on the streets. We got a few recommendations for shopping which were places decently priced. The excursions around the area were mainly of historic sites and there were tours that included touring the slums.

The hotel is located in not so great neighbhorhood but the its very safe. The security is great. Overall comfort is great, only complaint we had was the mosquitoes in the lobby area and in the breakfast area. The staff is nice and very helpful.Buffett breakfast was great! The hotel is close from various places such as BKC and Bandra etc.

The lobby and amenities of the hotel are very clean and spacious. We were impressed by this. However as soon as we checked into our room, it smelled like sewer water and requested for a room change. After about an hour we were able to get a new room. Only to find the next day that we would have to change rooms again due to an event happening on our floor. We were there for a total of three days and we have three separate rooms each day. This was inconvenient as we have to unpack and pack multiple times. We were quite upset with this situation and hope this doesn't happen again.

Avoid this place. We booked the apartment to rest before a long flight, but it was filthy—mosquitos, hair, and leftover food on the floor. My entire family fell sick. Staff dismissed the poor hygiene, claiming “that’s how apartment residences are.” Housekeeping was unresponsive, and the second room was just as dirty, with a previous guest’s toothbrush still on the counter. I overheard staff saying, “If the client hasn’t seen it, just remove it and move on,” not realizing I understood them. The third room was barely acceptable but still had mosquitos and a foul odor. This property is neither clean nor honest. I’ve taken photos to warn others—completely unacceptable for the price we paid.

The Grand in Hyatt was lost, such a shame what has happened to this property. It just feels old inside. The hotel is infested with mosquitoes, contrary to what they say the issue has been ongoing for several months. I feel bad for the staff as they are trying their best but the place is just not up to the mark. It feels old, and you can see it just isn’t clean. The rooms were not well kept. It also has a musky smell. Please avoid at all cost until they make changes here.

Wost stsy at this hotel in years. Garbage smell of rotting food in the hallway, totally run down rooms. Beds you can feel the springs. Bed sheets and duvet are totally used over the years and not replaced. Rooms are run down, furniture so old very uncomfortable to use. Airport pickup was confirmed and no.one was there to pick up. Disgusting and will never ever stay here

The Grand Hyatt is was stunning, professional and would go above and beyond for us. The breakfast was stunning and had a wide range of choice - our waiter the first two days was fabulous for encouraging us to try new things and explain each of the dishes. Disappointingly, our 3rd and 4th days we were completely ignored at the breakfast, not even giving us cutlery or a glass to drink from, never mind taking orders for made-to-order items. That small blip aside, the staff couldn't have been better, giving us advice for clothes shopping, helping with a lost property 'crisis' and even letting us sit in the exec lounge after our flight was delayed - Agnel was incredibly kind and professional, and we can only say thank you! The room was big, clean and always supplied with fresh drinking water. The pool was beautiful (although outdoors - you have to be willing to take on the smog - and not very deep. Fine for a paddle!). The architecture and artwork is absolutely stunning, and the lobby is just a lovely place to sit and escape the chaos of Mumbai. The Grand Hyatt was a perfect counterpoint to help us relax from the noise, smells and hoards of people from our days out!

It took forever to check in to the property only to find out that the type of room we booked was unavailable. They downgraded the room while checking in even though we paid more for the room upgrade. Had to call the property manager and argue for 30 mins just to get an upgrade to an apartment which was all the way on the other side of property. Never coming back here again.

The room was in good condition. The staff at breakfast was terrible, just ignored us, they profile you, if you look like them, they ignore you, had to call the manager. We are New Yorkers (originally from South America), I believe that's the way they treat Indian nationals. They needed to be trained to respect all races.

Had a sick child with special restricted food/diet. They refused to heat up outside food. It costs you nothing to help use a microwave. Beautiful hotel. Baggage help was very nice.

I have there before but this time checking in took a long time, bags to room took 3 phone calls and 20 minutes to arrive. Good part was Service delivered by Abhijeet and Ganga dyring breakfast as attention to detail and customer service was above and beyond was was very much appreciated
