Dated rooms not exceptionally clean. Very noisy from roof top bar and school prom night also on lower floors which added to the noise Breakfast was ok. Have to pay for any coffees other than normal coffee

The room was lovely and spotless. All of the staff were helpful but a special thank you should go to Paul the concierge, he could not do enough for us. We were made to feel special and he was so friendly and courteous The breakfast was tasty too.

Unfortunately for me at £280 a night for a river view suite I had no WiFi, no breakfast was included even though it had a tick next to it (it didn't say at additional cost), then I email prior to arrival to see if they had disabled parking bays available but was informed it was a first come first served parking bays what they failed to tell me is that it was £20 per 24 hours a little cheeky in my opinion. First day I find all the about out, when I get to the room and I'm unable to link my WiFi and they said they would get maintenance onto it but never did, but I did get another staff member come up but couldn't do anything to help really. No real customer service offered. The mini bar is daylight robbery. The shower dial fell off had to get maintenance out for that, the plug didn't open fully so when had a shower the bath filled up. Tiles in the room hallway I'd say 50% were cracked/broken. Partner walked out of the shower to find a painter doing the outside windows, no pre-warning from the hotel it was happening. To be honest the hotel didn't give us any notice that major work was happening at the hotel before or on day of arrival. All in all big let down I would never rate this place to my worst enemy. How it obtained a 4 star rating is beyond me.
