We really enjoyed our stay at Pagoda, breakfast was delicious, staff were brilliant and our 2 bedroom apartment was fabulous. It's a shame streaming services only worked on the lounge tv and not the bedroom tvs. Having said that the wifi was brilliant - it ACTUALLY works! Rooms also need usb ports. The heated pool is very cold which was a shame for my son who was really looking forward to a pool he wouldn't freeze in. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was fine. Surprisingly good for Price. I didn't like how parking is listed as available. But works out to be extra. Overall fine. If it sunny and I had Timo I think the pool would be a go a.

Pleasantly surprised. I really liked my room 218 on the quiet side of the building. I had the best sleeps. Sleeping in until 9.30am one day and 10am the next. That can only mean the bed was comfy and the room was quiet. I would stay here again when I need to rest. The only problem was the pool was not heated (despite ringing and asking if it was heated) for the whole weekend I was there. I booked this place because of the heated pool, so bitterly disappointed.

I liked the Chinese /Indonesian ceramics/art work around the hotel. The room was spacious as was the bathroom. Balcony was a bit narrow. Hotel manager was very polite and sorted out the issue with the TV not working. We did not like having to pay for secure parking - I didn't see this in the details about the hotel and although only $15 a night that was one of the reasons we chose to stay there - when staying there before parking was free to people staying there.

Wonderful place to stay. Have stayed here many times now and it always meets expectations. One of the elevators was out of order, and a little busy, but rooms and staff are always excellent.

We had a great 1st Anniversary weekend staying here in a lovely room. The bed was reasonably comfortable and the bathroom great with a spa bath. All staff we talked to were very helpful and polite. Unfortunately thats where my praise ends. As with most hotels the cleaning is obviously rushed and no surfaces either in the room or the hallways have been dusted in weeks. The lack of Netflix or any other smart TV options in 2025 is abit sad. I wanted to use the bathroom washing line to hang up my bathers to dry overnight but it was fused shut. The fridge is very tiny so luckily we were only staying a couple of days. A microwave or bench oven would be a great addition as not everyone wants to use the restaurant. ( Although its food sounds yum and well priced). We did very much enjoy the pool an appreciate the reasonable costs for parking. And despite the lack of some cleaning would stay again because it was delightfully decorated and handy to everything. Thanks.

Very nice room, though upon check in there was a large cockroach in the kitchen area. Kitchen, loungeroom and bedroom were clean. Bathroom needed a better clean, previous guest hair on wall of shower and soap scum build up on glass between shower and bathroom sink. Spa bath was very large and difficult to get in and out of when showering. Kitchen had plenty of facilities for two people. Staff were very friendly and check in and out was fast. Plenty of street parking available out the front.

Our room was clearly in need of renovating. Large lumps in the carpet, old, chipped and scuffed surfaces, tired looking furniture with old stains visible. It also hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned in a long time; very dusty fixtures and corners, grubby power points, traces of mould in the bathroom, hairs around the shower. It needed a proper deep clean, and it’s obvious the cleaning staff - who were very courteous and who I don’t blame at all - don’t get the time. I asked the front of house staffer about it; poor guy did his best to clean it up himself while we had dinner. The food was… okay. Ish. The buffet breakfast was lukewarm as soon as it came out of the containers, and cold by the time we ate it. Soon afterwards, my partner was throwing up and I felt ill myself; we didn’t stay the second night.

Really quiet and relaxing. Aircon was really noisy so we had to turn it off so we could sleep. Jet tub was amazing - really made the stay feel luxurious. Breakfast buffet was really nice! We are good members but weren’t offered the vip upgrade and also didn’t receive our free bottle of wine.

The rooms are a good size with all amenities incl a spa bath. The suites offer a separate bedroom and washing/drying machine. The area is quiet (despite proximity to the freeway) with ample on-street free parking ($15 for secure parking). The decor is very Asia with heavy Chinese-inspired dark furniture in the rooms.

We visited the Pagoda Resort 20 years previously and were wowed by it. 20 years later and whilst there is evidence of changes, the hotel shows signs of wear and tear and is dated.

The room was large and comfortable with a nice bed and a good shower. There was a balcony but the inclement weather prevented us using it. The staff were friendly. We did not dine at the hotel but rather at another local establishment on Preston Street.

Chose this hotel due to proximity to my father's nursing home. It felt like a has-been living off some legacy reputation of being a nice hotel? I found the staff unfriendly and quite snooty. My ask for a slightly later check-out dismissed before I finished speaking, despite it supposedly being an option with my VIP Gold status. I think the bottle of wine in my room was the amenity but no way of knowing - no note or confirmation. The room was fine, roomy and comfortable enough for multiple nights stay, although very odd to have shower inside a jetted tub. The wifi was good enough for work calls but the TV setup was archaic, with no internet connection - no way to connect to Netflix or anything similar or even to connect my own laptop. The elevators were the slowest I've ever ridden in a 1st world country. My family came to me for lunch, we had 7 people and spent significant money on a meal where 1 person didn't even get served with the rest of us due to staff order mistake (they didnt count if they had the right number of meals for people?). There was only 1 other table in the entire restaurant and we still couldnt get good service. There are a lot of accommodation options in Perth, I won't stay here again.

Reception rude and not willing to assist or provide information. Multiple items broken in the room asked to get washing machine fixed and maintenance put tape over drain leak which made leak worse and flooded our bathroom. Plus there was still an error code up for a broken solenoid that maintenance didn’t even look into Power point not mounted to wall correctly, toddler could of easily touch the back of the power point and got a shock Asked for information on the laundry service once the washing machine failed to be fixed and got told “the information is in your room” which we couldn’t find.

We have stayed here many times and it's usually always very lovely. Restaurant food was great and we received our free bottle of wine :) Our studio room this time though had sticky wine or coffee splashed all over one of the doors (a lot) which we reported. We were told it would be cleaned but it wasn't. There were hairs in the bath. We struggled placing a room service over the phone as the member of staff just wasn't listening and seemed distracted. A different day we were awoken very early with knocking on the door, where a staff member had got the wrong room for breakfast in bed. Just a few small things, but unusual for this place.

A nice hotel, not a great location for public transport as the closest station is a 30 min walk, but ubers are cheap in Perth. The restaurant doest have the best menu for non seafood eaters. The GF pizza i had on the menu was awful. The buffet breakfast in the morning was amazing. The staff and the room itself were really good.

It was well presented, clean, and in good condition considering it's age. It had a full size Spa Bath and Kitchen with an Oven which is had to find these days. Good value for money, also scored a view of the Swan River!

Whilst our dinner was good it was very expensive Staff were always helpful. Had 2 hot chocolates at breakfast while dining neither were hot and received 1 in a takeaway cup and 1 in a glass . Doors to rooms sometimes failed to close securely if left unattended and no usb ports .

It was a fabulous stay at the Hotel. I caught an Uber to the jetty but you could certainly walk. I went to the zoo. I recommend going early to beat the crowd. The facilities were excellent. There were lots of conferences and weddings going on so the hotel was a hub activity With lots of happiness. Spa bath was fantastic. Even better. Was the restaurant. I highly recommend coming here even if you’re not staying at the hotel I had barramundi. My friends had steak and a kilo of cooked muscles and they were all absolutely brilliant dishes. Most importantly the staff were both generous and kind as well as initiative to guest needs.

Lovely style in this hotel, staff are helpful and friendly and rooms very spacious and nicely decorated. Location for me is great half way between Perth and Fremantle. Nice restaurant with great food offered. Would recommend this hotel.
