First room was very dirty on arrival floor not vaccumed and shower screen very dirty. Went to the front desk and the lady was nice offered another room which was a little better. No parking was disappointed that the place has limited car parking visiting from interstate and not familiar with the city was disappointed with my whole experience.

Parking was excellent and secure, Staff were lovely and friendly, Breakfast was amazing and location was excellent

Can’t fault the staff, very friendly and helpful. Facilities in the room were good but the hotel is very dated and worn out. Parking was included which was handy and it is a short walk into the city centre so the location is convenient.

It is in a decent location, though the parking options are very limited and arriving late there is a good chance you wont get spot, and even street parking is limited. Outside of that, breakfast was ok, but not much choice, but fine for what we wanted so no issues there.

We stayed for 8 nights, were told parking was full & could use the motel parking across the road for $17 p/night, 2nd night this happened & we received parking for free but weren’t given codes to get into the parking area! There was one day of no room service & we weren’t told & another night the bed coverlet was still on the floor, the pillows looked like they were thrown on the bed & the towels beside the sink & not on the rail. Just quite poor for what we paid.

Great location to city and east Perth eateries. Good parking. Economic option for visitors to Perth.

Even though the hotel was completely full on a busy weekend, I had no issues and it was quiet. They forewarned about parking being an issue but I got in early. Great breakfast and the happy hour and evening menu in the restaurant was excellent value for money. I've stayed several times and will keep going back to this centrally situated and comfortable hotel where all staff provide friendly service.

The free parking was all gone. Ended up paying $65 to park my car for not even 24 hours! It also looked like the room needed a really good clean including the hot plate!

As always, the staff were nice and friendly. The hotel has gone downhill though needs to be renovated badly, the rooms are very outdated, the room we had did not have an exhaust fan in the bathroom, there was one or two cockroaches running around the walls, the housekeeping needs training on how to make a bed.

Older establishment but room was well cleaned. Great value for price.

The property itself is a bit tired, but this is to be expected with a 3 star hotel. The biggest concern was lack of cleanliness. Mould in the shower/bathroom, floors looked and felt dirty throughout, and there were cockroaches in my room. Maintenance was lacking with dripping taps, the door lock was hard to open sometimes, and the tv was in 'shop mode', so a banner of the tv's features would show on the screen every few minutes. I'll avoid staying here in the future.

The location is nice, the reception team and the team who prepare breakfast are very friendly, everything else is terrible/precarious. 1 Star Hotel! The room on 5th floor I was booked in was completely filthy, the floor was dirty with dirt, the bed linen had holes in it and a horrible odor of chemicals used to eliminate perhaps an odor worse than what was there, so strong that my nose started to run immediately. It was disgusting to sit on the sofa, lie down or lean anywhere in the horrendous room. I went to the reception and the employee kindly moved us to another room on the 4th floor. The fourth floor was completely full of cockroaches and it was cleaner than the first, but full of cockroaches, as well as the bed linen and furniture from the time the hotel opened in very poor condition. Once again and exhausted from the trip, I went to reception and explained to the receptionist the condition of the room full of cockroaches, I asked for an insecticide and once again in a very polite, friendly and lovely way I was well attended to and he offered another room, which this time was on the third floor. Finally a clean room and without cockroaches! It seems like we entered a time tunnel reaching the 80s/90s. The furniture, part of the ceiling and the shower door are falling apart and worn, which could be vintage if they were in good condition. All bed and bath linens appear to have never been renewed since opening. The hotel offers free parking, but does not guarantee a slot!

This is a really dirty and old hotel. The walls have blood on them, carpets are really bad. Bathroom and kitchen was not nice. Very old hotel needs upgrading. They shouldn’t be charging the prices they do.

Unfortunately, not worth what we paid. We were in Room 531 *Beds were well worn, and had no support *Air-conditioned had thick, visible dust and grime *Table was broken *Chairs were torn and dirty *Dirt and sticky areas on the walls *The shower had mould and dirt build up *The shower was an extreme hazard, as it would go cold one moments and boiling hot the next, it was unsafe for our toddler and children *Kitchen tap was loose from the bench *The level of noise coming from Level 6 was unbelievable *Provided a portacot and yet no bedding *Staff knew limited English- this presented to be a bit of a barrier

The hotel is in a good location but unfortunately the hotel is dated . The room we stayed is not clean . When I took out the dish from the cupboard I found a piece of broken glass on the dish and all the cups were greasy . The light near the kitchenette was kept on flashing and I needed to turn off . The bathroom door is dirty and I needed to wipe down a few times . I hope the hotel will take note of the standard of cleaning and maintenance.

It's very smelly and I could not sleep well at night bcz of terrible smell. Not very clear hotel. Photos in the website does not match. Sofa wax dirty , aircon was not working, difficult to get parking if u r lucky.

The room wasbt cleaned properly, TV not working and the 2nd floor where I stayed was very noisy by guests and children and I didnt hace a latch to lock room door so I felt very unsafe at night.I stayed for 5 nights.This was my 4th time staying here and this was the only bad experience

Dated, basic hotel. Parking on site. Noisy air-conditioning unit disturbed sleep. Could not use TV, wifi poor. Shower with fluctuating temperatures. Overall okay for the price and one night.

Bathroom too small, wall mirror too low,only for shorties,open door blocked off half of vanity bench,no extractor fan,toilet roll holder in awkward position,annoying step up entering b/room, Strange knocking noises from somewhere. Flat batteries in TV remote. You get the picture.

Staff courteous & helpful. Rooms desperate for makeover: couch stained & lumpy. Bathroom so small had to close door before I could wash my hands. Toilet pipes so noisy.

Negatives: the bathroom was uncomfortably small; the room was showing its age (in particular, drawers and cupboards didn't close).

The room was next to the elevator noisy as and right next to the storeroom

A great sized room, I really enjoyed having the space as it made it really easy to relax with a sofa and kitchen, and the little balcony was a nice bonus. Comfy bed with plenty of pillows. It's obviously an old building so definitely needs some updates in some areas like power outlets by the bed for example, maybe put in some USB port outlets if you're upgrading things) the bathroom is poky and difficult to navigate and cold when you get out of the shower, minor issues though. It does need a good deep clean .. I did de grime a few things before I settled in but all in all perfectly fine. Can't comment on breakfast/restaurant as I didn't use it.

Room was incredibly old, couldn’t tell how old and crappy the room, bed and furniture was.

Toilet was broken. Hotel maintenance guy was great but had his work cut out. Had to flush with waste paper basket and cistern lid off. Got back late, zero towels. Called up, yes frustrated after no toilet for 2 days and now no towels, copped a mouthful from reception. Steer clear.

The staff were amazing! They were very helpful with the parking, friendly and made every effort to make our stay comfortable :) The rooms are a little dated but I didn’t go for the decor :)

Firstly I would stress that all the staff that we dealt with in person were friendly, polite, very helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to give any of them 5 stars. That in itself would make me consider staying again if I returned to Perth. The hotel is also conveniently on a regular bus route from the train station near airport T3/T4. The rooms were functional but a bit tired and shabby. To be fair they did have the facilities described but all a bit run down. We mainly needed a bed & a place to cook if we wanted. The one negative thing was that on our arrival the room absolutely stank. We soon found that the cause was a frying pan that had probably been used for fish and must have been put away in the bottom drawer unwashed sometime in the past. To be fair when we took the pan to reception they were incredibly apologetic and immediately moved us to an upgraded room. I just wonder how no one noticed it when the room had been prepared before our arrival.

Conveniently located for our purpose. Missed servicing our room ....twice. Forgot our early "wake-up" call but fotunately they remembered to order our taxi to the airport!

The property is very old and showing its age. Breakfast was mediocre at least variety of food was good but cold. Room was not good ,carpet was stained ,shower was terrible. It does have a good location being close to the city and plenty of public transport nearby. The old adage that you get what you pay for is true in this case.

I thought the bathrooms could have been much cleaner it was looking in need of an update. The staff were very friendly and the meals in the restaurant were very good.

Arrived around 10 pm. I asked if there was room service. Yes was the response however poor selection and absolutely poor options the car park was ridiculously expensive

The room was old and tired. The mattress was old and sagging. Some staff were fantastic and some were ok. Good access to basement and room floor with 2 elevators. Beautiful food from the restaurant.
