The water at this hotel was dirty and brown. Then the water was turned off completely so we had no water to shower or drink or anything. Old socks were left on the window sill in the room when we arrived so it is not been cleaned properly. The spa bath was filthy and we had to try clean it before realising the water was brown anyway and not safe to use. Service was terrible. Do NOT stay at this hotel. No linked restaurant, no room service, no gym. No other services at all. Terrible all round. Took photo evidence and will be taking this further with the hotel chain.

The property location is great. Easy to access to places. The parking at hotel is limited. They also offer parking in the building nearby with discount. We paid $10 for the weekend only. The room is nice, clean, spacious and accessible. The staff is also very helpful and friendly.

The rooms are out dated and very basic. I paid for a king bed and the room they gave was a queen. I had to complain and they did upgrade us. They have no ice machine. Small investment to make clients happy. Don’t know how people rate this hotel to be what it is. $30 for onsite parking but only for cars up to 1.8m. I can’t walk far and the nearest parking was over 600 meters away.

Excellent staff , especially the Ladies in evening, very helpful- very!!! They showed me way around on PC and cud excactly answer my questions. Too bad no breakfast available. Room was feeling a little cold but was excellent equipped. Silent, good bed! Wud go there again!

Location is great close to bars and restaurants and His Majesty’s Theatre. We were sent pre check in instructions which I completed then was asked to do it all again at check in. Waited and then they found it. On site parking was a bonus but not sure if a larger car would fit! Sofa was damaged which we reported as we didn’t want our guide dog getting blamed for the damage This is the second time I’ve stayed the first time the room smelled damp, this time the room had been sprayed with air freshener so much we sneezed all night!

Located along the main business street of St George’s Terrace, this was another hotel I stayed to be close to the Convention Centre as I was attending a conference there. There are steps to navigate but a lift from the ground floor to the entrance is present, but no staff will come out to assist when one is having problems using it. Guess they are all busy looking at screens at the reception. Waiting area is cramp and small. No cafe present. No pool. No gym either. Microwave, cutlery and plates were most useful when heating up stuff bought from outside. Carpet looked old but clean. Overall cleanliness was excellent. It was strange that while there was air conditioning, there existed a small room vent to allow some outside air to get in. Cleaning staff was excellent and my coffee and tea was always refilled. The small milk canisters were a nice touch and so much better than creamer sachets. Movie and tv channels were extremely limited however.

The room was not properly serviced. There was a sharp piece of plastic in my bed. The two glasses in the bathroom cabinet had nit been cleaned and I discovered, on finding my food spoilt and my water in my waterbottle warm, that the fridge did not work. Very disappointing especially as it was a recuperating stop during travelling. I raised my complaints with reception. The receptionist only apologised and got me some cold water. Her supervisor did not even look me in the eye.I Explained that I do not normally leave bad reviews, if I don't like somewhere I just don't review. However on this occasion a poor review is warranted and I told the hotel I would be leaving one. They were not bothered.

We have stayed in a number of different Citadines hotels both in Australia and in Europe. We chose this hotel because of its location to public transport and its centrality. We had a couple of maintenance issues with a drain not working properly and a large light flickering. Our main problem would be the small size of the kitchen. Usually kitchens in Citadines apartment hotels are really good. It was a bit pokey and hard to use. There was no cooktop. The overall design layout of the room just felt a little uneasy, though the furnishings were quite modern and comfortable. The bathroom was really good. The TV had no internet connection for watching streaming services. The staff were excellent, friendly, always greeted us and were quick to respond to our needs.

Theres a spa in suites in middle of room but no visitors allowed after 10pm or any noise to be made but the elevator makes constant screeching sounds all throughout the night and you can literally hear other peoples bathroom activities through the wall

Wonderful staff and nice rooms - unfortunately a poorly constructed building which meant you heard every other guest in the building: elevators, people walking on the floor above. Not the place for light sleeper and holiday makers - but irrelevant if you are a business Traveller getting up early. I still enjoyed my stay.

Citadines is in an excellent location and is close to the action. It's priced very well, and the room is large with everything needed. The staff always say "hi" and were very friendly when we interacted with them. I definitely recommend Citadines.
