Nice hotel, but under renovation no front entrance so had to use the rear entrance no swimming pool and guest barking was very expensive which was very disappointing even though there are many areas outside the hotel where you can park free.

There are major renovations happening so access is difficult and the pool is closed. Check in staff could be more helpful. Room is spacious and comfortable so if you just need a place to stay in the area it is ok

When i come to perth for work i always stay here as you feel like you are on holiday. Vuew from balcony to sea is stunning. Scarborough is busy and lively at night lots of bars/restaurants and nice to be able to go for a long stroll along beach. Hotel is going through a rennovation throughout 2025 so expect some works/partial closure. Swimming pool closed but doesnt matter as free entrance to an amazing olympic size pool 2 mins away.

the service and the room is amazing. there should be an undercover area for smokers and vapers. loved the stay. just hate walking out to cold no undercover to smoke. oh and the elevator going up was broken

I have stayed at this hotel over 50 times first time back in 1981. I have always enjoyed the location, the hotel and especially the pool. Unfortunately this time around the pool was closed for renovation with reopening date unsure according to the staff at reception.

Lovely location. My room had stunning views. Finding parking and locating the entrance during renovations was a challenge. Staff were friendly but could have asked a bit more about my needs. Gym was okay. Missing some equipment. Still nice

Renovations currently underway, so no pool, no access to front of building, access to rear had faulty escalator and lift, so wheelchair access was nonexistent, room service breakfast poor with hard boiled eggs for eggs Benedict, software not working properly so unable to charge anything back to room. Only positive was the location.

Plug sockets in room broken, iron broken and ruined my husbands top and when the staff came to change iron they were very rude and dismissive. The room only got cleaned one day and the cleaner only made one bed and emptied a bin, we couldnt work out anything else she had done.

Clean and well fitted room. Good service. Beautiful beach venue. However. Building (currently being face lifted) needs an upgrade desperately. Bathroom old and falling apart: semi clogged bath tub drain, stuck toilet flush, leaking shower head. Normal maintenance not up to scratch.

This property is falling apart. We had to switch rooms 3 times. There was mold and doors not working correctly and almost no linen hair dryer was broken in one room chemical smells in another room toilet flush button not working in 3rd room. The hotel staff in general were good yet several people basically ignored us. Breakfast was average. Dinner was nice but took a long time and only 7 tables had people the night we ate there. Management did listen to our concerns and tried to help but with rooms in bad conditions they couldn’t do much.

I liked the view from the balcony and the complementary bottle of wine. Unfortunately on check the bathroom and toilet was not clean. I rang down twice for housekeeping to come and clean. When they said they had cleaned, I noticed the toilet still had faecal stains and blood mark on the seat. I had to clean myself. It was disgusting. I couldn’t be bothered ringing for them to come again because it felt like an inconvenience. I expected the room to be clean on check in. I also noticed the carpet was not vacuumed properly. Very disappointed.

My husband and I stayed here before kids about 9 years ago, and I swear renovations were being made back then. The only feedback I have is perhaps the cleaners can scrub the shower floor in its entirety as I slipped 3 times. It was on the half of the shower floor that is not directly under the shower head. Other than that, this hotel is comfortable and clean. A bit noisy from the bars below. Commendations to the staff for moving me to a quieter room. Was much appreciated. It's a bummer for the hotel that the bars are down below. It would definitely bring the atmosphere up in the hotel if they were there. But I'm sure during the week it's quieter :-)

It was ok, not really worth the money in my opinion the room was dated and not very clean , we had some rubbish left in our room, hair in the bathtub and our room key continuously stopped working so we had to keep going down to reception

Best located hotel in Scarborough with stunning views. The room was spotless and all the staff were amazing. Renovation work is taking place however we had no noise or any issues at all, staying on 21st floor facing south. Pool area is still under renovation too but having free use of Scarborough Beach Pool with laudered pool towels compensates perfectly for this. We are so glad we wasn't put off and our stay here for the week was perfect. This truly will be the destination to be when all is fully completed and we will be returning without a doubt. Well done again and thank you to all staff for making our trip special.

Took 20 minutes to locate the entrance as it was not clearly marked not great when you have 4 suitcases. The escalators were out of order which was not great either. The room did not get cleaned daily and the hotel is looking shabby to say the least. It was expensive and they need to really up their game.

Balcony with no furniture on it, so could not be used, mattress hard as a rock so little sleep over 2 nights,1 face washer in bathroom for 3 people that stayed in the room.TV not a smart tv so viewing was pretty boring.toilet roll holder falling out of wall. Water pressure in shower was just about non existant. Didnt use buffet breakfast this time as it $84 each. Tfe hotels member but that count for anything also a expedia member that didnt count for anything either.

Exceptionally average. Cleaners entering the room TWICE before 9am? Bathroom flooding with water from shower? WiFi blackouts? AirCon "resetting"? If this is what you're looking for then the Rendezvous is for you. If you're a fellow business traveller, FORGET it. This hotel leaves a lot left to be desired. 4/10

View from the room wasn't what I expected for Deluxe Oceanfront. Disappointed that couldn't sit out on balcony as no balcony furniture, also very small balcony. Poor lighting in room and difficult to rehulate a/c.

The hotel is under renovation. Was told our room has been renovated but it still looks dated and wardrobe sliding doors are difficult to open. Housekeeping could not be reached by phone at the number provided. Have always to contact reception if we need anything from housekeeping. The escalator down to the esplanade was always out of order during our five days stay. Water was dripping from the roof at the restaurant when it rained. In all the hotels I stayed in Australia this hotel is the only one that could not loan us an electrical adapter for our European electrical plugs. All in all I would not recommend this hotel.

Currently undergoing refurb very noisy, asked to change rooms and was told there wasn’t any even though there was lots still advertised online. Was charged wrong amount at check in, a little less that rate I booked and instead of writing off this small amount for the trouble I was told I couldn’t check out until this was paid. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel and definitely won’t be back.

Very poor service. We arrived a day late due to flight delays and had tried to contact reception to let them know - without any luck. When we arrived, the front staff claimed we didn’t have any booking though we showed them a printed receipt which confirmed booked dates and payments. After a lot of discussion they downgraded us to another type of room but it felt like we should be pleased that they even found us a room and didn’t charge us (again!). Very displeased with the experience. Also - what’s with the front staff work division. It’s like the road workers - one person working the others observing that one person working. Location is great.

Dated hotel for what the price of the rooms are . Staff had no idea what was going on . Had to complain 3 out of 4 days for our room to be cleaned . Breakfast most days was cold as it’s been sitting there for some time . Ended up eating across the road at pub much better good .

View from the balcony amazing, we were on the 24th floor, could see for miles. Staff friendly and willing to help. Easy car parking below, at an extra cost. Great selection of bars and restaurants extremely close by so not limited to hotel, the view from their restaurant was fab though. Only 2 issues, not complaints! Firstly, I would have loved a chair on balcony rather than dragging out room chair and secondly I currently have a really sore knee and both the escalator and elevator were down for maintenance the day we were leaving.

Staff at both check in and check out were pleasant and professional. The room was both clean and pleasant. The view is sensational. My only gripe is that I was invoiced for a chocolate bar from the mini bar which we did not take. An email regarding this has been ignored. The cost of the chocolate is really of no consequence, but a reply email surely is not to much to ask for.

Great location right on the beach with magnificent sunset views every night. Restaurant food is delicious. Rooms are very comfortable with good King bed, large walk in shower, plenty of bench space in the bathroom and large bath towels.

Great location facing Scarborough Beach with restaurants and shops within a short walk - nearby arcade includes Coles Supermarket, a pharmacy, gents barber, etc. Lots of activities on the beach (we were here in Feb 2024) including a food truck festival every Thursday evening. Room was clean - no issues - and the buffet breakfast in the G/F restaurant was well stocked, and had a separate gluten-free section for celiacs.

Beautiful location, quiet at night despite location on busy beach area. Large room, with good amenities. Hotel is a little dated but currently undergoing renovations- should be very nice. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choices and nice eating space with a view of the beach.

Beautiful location on Scarborough beach. Room was spacious, clean and had ocean views to die for. Pool area was lovely. Staff were ok but their knowledge of local area wasn’t great, especially when asked about bus services and some general info. This is where a dedicated concierge service would help. Dining at hotel was average, sadly my partner had a very poor starter (a bowl of tomatoes literally) and fish so over cooked it couldn’t be cut just bounced like a ball. How a chef could let these go out is disappointing. My meal was better and the new main brought out was an improvement. I hope the hotel doesn’t let its amazing location get the better of service. On the whole a good stay just some improvements could be made.

I did NOT like the rock hard mattresses on the beds. Made sleeping so uncomfortable and had sore shoulders and back after 2 nights on very hard and uncomfortable mattresses, love the bar and dining room and the menu was small but good, the buffet breakfast was great food was well cooked and a great variety,,, Also did NOT like that the TV was not a smart tv, made for very boring veiwing…. The room service menu was good also.

Nice location near the beach. Breakfast was caos and the que to get in was very long so we had to wait. Breakfast was basic with not much choice of hot food. They charge for their barista made coffee but don't tell you, until you are checking out and get hit with a bill. Room was quiet, views of ocean are great. Staff at reception are great, not so great at the restaurant.
