I was there on business – it was a black-tie dinner for one of the teams in which I participate. The drinks service which was supposed to happen at 6:30 pm, prior to the meal at 7 pm was severely delayed. So of course our members supported your bar – maybe this was the intention or am I just being cynical? The dinner was quite nice but the desert course very disappointing. I had baked cheesecake. It was not baked. It was a cheap and nasty instant pudding type cheesecake, sweet and sickly – with an even sweeter watered-down jam on the side. I think you have the nerve to call that a coulis! The disco after the meal was extraordinarily bad. So ridiculously loud at 75% of the company left the room – many didn’t return. The DJs were asked to lower the sound and they adjusted it very slightly – but it was still too uncomfortable to stay in that room. They were told that many people would come back if they just played at a reasonable volume – our pleas were ignored. That dreadful disco really spoiled what could’ve been a very enjoyable night. I went swimming the following morning. The leisure facility is new and bright and shiny (or just had a facelift!) But the pool is TINY. Not much bigger than a private pool! And when 70% of it is given over to kiddies swimming lessons, and one family with two kids monopolises the remaining Lane – there was no space in which to swim! Such a shame – what were you thinking to put such a small pool at a hotel?

Overall the Delta is a nice, clean hotel with ample parking but is quite a way out of down, Asked for a quiet room, but it was a huge distance from reception. All staff very helpful and polite. There’s a great pub 5 mins away as an alternative to eat. Breakfast was excellent with a very helpful lady serving, with fantastic coffee! Steam and sauna good, pool is too small.

Lovely hotel, receptionist Rosie was excellent. As were the restaurant staff. Room was beautiful with a beautiful view Pool was lovely but the flooring around and in the changing rooms is a death trap! So slippy, I jarred my knee when I nearly slipped over, and saw someone else nearly slip. It would put me off using the pool again.

Hotel is modern, well maintained with lovely staff. Rooms are really well kept with beds and pillows that are so comfortable! The best we have had for a long time. Parking is easy, breakfasts are always excellent, with the hot food regularly topped up. Pool area is really clean, helpful staff, and you can order coffee/drinks to be brought to you on the sun beds. A nice touch! Only issue we had was that the air-con was so cold in the evening, it would have been better to be turned down a touch!

Good solid hotel although a little dated. Good size rooms and good breakfast, hotel gym wasn’t bad for a hotel gym either. Hotel in a business park so definitely one for business travelers rather than families. Would use again then when on business in the area

Arrived late after a long drive, had dinner in the restaurant. Dinner was tasty (although the fish was undercooked) and the dessert was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful, although I wasn't keen being stuck with other single diners! The room was a good size, quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean, one of the cleanest bath areas I have ever seen (although I am not 100% sure the toilet seat was wiped thoroughly!) It was well appointed, tea / coffee and kettle, hairdryer, plenty of sockets (none next to the bed, only 1 small niggle) and the bed was a good size, clean and plenty of pillows. I would definitely recommend to other travellers, the breakfast was very decent, self service everything but again the staff were pleasant and welcoming.

Staying in Peterborough on a regular basis, this is the first time I have stayed at the Delta Marriott. I was staying during one of the many heatwaves the UK experienced over the summer of 2025. The air conditioning was a delight. I had an accessible room, which had a wet room configuration. This was perfect for my needs. I have arthritis in the knees, which can make climbing over the side of a bath difficult, even with grab rails. The rest of the room was spacious and very comfortable. I will return in a heartbeat. I was attending various family events over a few days, so did not avail myself of all the facilities, but will do when I return in the future.

Apart from the view of a wall ( which I wouldn’t have remembered if you hadn’t asked) the experience was overall very pleasant. Good food, great staff. Only improvement would be a cooler room and the ability to open the window more.

The Suite we had was large, spacious and the main bed was comfortable. The sofa bed was used by our 14 year old and he said he was very uncomfortable. The bathroom needs a big upgrade as it has damp and peeling paint. Also the bath and shower both need repairing as they drip constantly. Most of the staff are friendly, and breakfast was lovely. We had dinner in the restaurant, the fish was pink (it was a hotel fish not Salmon) and definitely not right so we sent it back. But the chef argued it was fine and sent it out again. Didn’t eat it and wouldn’t eat here again due to this. On the whole it was an ok experience. Just certain areas let the hotel down.

Lovely stay here, only bad thing was the rooms were very stuffy even with the air con on it was very warm in the room so that was uncomfortable. Hotel meals were expensive too. Was clean and nice hotel though

Air conditioning did not work. We required an extension lead as there was only one plug on side of bed and we needed two for sleep apnea machines. Check-in was lovely and service. Ample parking.

Super stay from start to finish. Excellent and friendly check-in. Very happy with our accommodation, spacious and airy with a nice outlook. Good shower. Hotel peaceful during our stay with a large car park. Near to all main facilities and routes. Cast Iron Grill restaurant the food excellent. Staff very efficient and accommodating. Breakfast great choice but buffet cooked food could be hotter please. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Would be happy to return if ever in the area.

I had booked Marriott/Delta hotel Peterborough using hotels.com app in May-2024. I had booked the hotel almost 5 months in advance since i was supposed to attend the important meeting. On 24th Oct 2024 i went their around 10:30am in the morning and asked them if i can do early check in, they said i was too early and should leave my bag come back later. After that i left my bag and came back in the late evening to do the check in. When i went to checkin desk the person at the reception couldn’t find my booking in the system. I showed them my hotels.com confirmation and after that they were able to see it on the Expedia portal linked to marriott but not in the mariott system. They made me wait for an hour. After that they told me that they are overbooked and hence will need to send me to another hotel. As a compensation the reception guy said he has deposited 10,000 bonvoy points to my mariott bon voy account 748537273. But these points never got deposited so it was a complete lie. On that night around mid night i was shifted another local low category hotel which wasn’t looking safe when i went there. In the morning i again came back to mariott since they had promised me a room on 25th oct night but then the front office manager was extremely rude and arrogant and unapologetic. I again left my bag there and i was told that when i return room will be ready and bag will be in my room, and when i checked in i was told that bag in the room but bag wasn’t there.

I am trying to locate an email address to respond to the hotel?? Cannot find one anywhere! We were awake until 4.45am due to very noisy neighbours. I called down to the reception at 2.30am, they asked for music to be turned down, this was until it started to increase. Doors were banging, manager came back up for some reason 2nd time and wished them a good evening at 3.30am as he left!!!!! A good evening? It’s the middle of the night?? We finally fell asleep once our neighbours had at 4.45am!!! Not the best stay and just an apology at the desk, terrible. Not to say we also had an 8 year old with us who did not have the best sleep and at times was a little unsettled with all the noise. The swimming pool area was so busy this time, people not adhering to rules and felt quite sorry for the paying adults who use the leisure facilities regularly as there was no respect for their use. Breakfast used to be a buffet but this had changed and to be honest wasn’t a great deal of selection like there used to be!! I am disappointed as we are regular guests and we have left feeling quite deflated. I am not sure we will be back 😞

The staff was very welcoming and friendly at check in. Also at checkout, they were very helpful with regards to my request to store my luggage and arrange for a taxi. The building itself is not the newest, but well maintained. The bed was very comfortable and room was quiet.

Bathroom toiletries lacking; duvet only as wide as the bed, so my wife slept on the sofa bed. There was a conference so dining room unavailable both days of our stay, so had to eat in the bar (dinner and breakfast). Breakfast food choice fair, but chaotic, difficult food access; only one coffee machine, and staff whipping away plates and cutlery when one had hardly finished eating.
