Everything about our stay at Sawasdee Village was wonderful, memorable, and lovely. The staff were all incredibly warm and friendly and eager to assist us. The grounds were, simply put, just magical. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we particularly loved that we were able to directly access the pool from our own lanai. The food at the breakfast buffet was delicious and the cocktails at the swim-up pool bar were so tasty. We enjoyed a 2-hour massage at the Baray Spa and though pricier than other nearby options, it was the best massage experience of our lives. We wanted to stay longer than our 4 days! We cannot recommend Sawasdee Village enough and hope to one day have the good fortune to return.

Everything was absolutely perfect. Photos don’t even come close to showing how magically transformative this slice of heaven truly is. Tstuuhe staff was beyond helpful, our surroundings felt like a dream- from the multiple swimming pools, the lounge with complimentary tea, coffee and snacks, the relaxing outdoor day beds that swung from the trees… the lights at night, the food at breakfast. Everything was perfect. I wish I had an extra week just to spend at this hotel, without even leaving to explore the town (which was super fun to do, we just had limited time and felt we didn’t get enough time to soak up everything this resort had to offer!!). You will not regret this medical gem- I yearn to be back there every day since leaving.

Absolutely stunning hotel. Tranquil hidden gem amongst a busy area. Staff are lovely. Only reduced one of the sections as it was quiet season there was a lot of maintenance going on so a little bit noisy at times and smell of paint etc. but didn't impact our experience of the hotel itself.

Was a mid experience. The service was fantastic however the rooms felt a little unclean- sand in the bed and floors felt dirty. The beds and pillows were also very uncomfortable. During our stay we used the body wash and as the week went by its like they watered it down rather than refilled it. Not sure if the power was just very weak but a lot of our powerpoints and charging stations did not work. The breakfast buffet did not have wide range of food and would not rate that very highly. The room service was pretty nice but a little pricey. Had a little concern when some of our items went missing including a phone charger and medication however we did not want to point fingers. The pool areas were really nice and the pool seemed clean. Drinks were great, would have been better if the 2 for 1 deal (happy hour) was for more cocktails not just 4 of them. Aesthetics of the place was beautiful, could not fault the amazing decor.

Very nice and clean hotel, staff was very friendly and helpful. There were multiple pools, so the pool areas never got too busy, of course we went during the rainy season so not sure what the busy season looks like.

The staff and the long pool is amazing. Location wise was quick to get to places by scooter. However, there were some kind of wood eating bug infestation in our room so there would be wood shavings scattered on certain parts of the floor. That was uncomfortable to walk over. The toilets need upgrading if its necessary for guests to toss used toilet paper. The bed mattresses felt old and uncomfortable.

Exquisite artwork. But the rooms do have a sight sewer smell. Staff placed an air purifier in my room which was loud I had to turn it off at night. The air conditioner does take a while for it to cool down but still feels muggy. Comfy bed. Wish the bathrooms were a little brighter and not so dark. The breakfast was good but would be better if it was in a closed room with air conditioning. I wish the smoking area was elsewhere rather than by the gym or walk to my room. There’s no ventilation. It’s a beautiful place to experience just once. But I would stay elsewhere next time.

I booked Sawasdee Village for a unique experience our last few days in Phuket. It felt like an oasis, with beautiful grounds and pools, comfortable room and friendly staff. The room was nicely decorated and appointed with plenty of counter and storage space, with separate closet/dressing room, sectioned off toilette and shower that walked out to the pool, patio with loungers. The bed was larger than most king sized mattresses and was very comfortable with nice sheets and pillows. The TV was also large and you can sign into most Apps to access shows and movies. There was a separate router for each room so that internet connection was never an issue. The mini fridge was large with a freezer section and they provided plenty of water (in recyclable glass) that was replenished daily. They provided 2 Starbucks coffee pods for coffee each day. The only downside was that the AC didn't get lower than a certain temperature, but was comfortable for most of the stay. There were plenty of amenities, including 2 large pools with bars providing drinks. We didn't use the gym, but it looked nice with a good amount of machines and weights.The buffet breakfast at the restaurant was ample; eggs to order (including scrambled with multiple ingredients), dim sum, congee, thai dish, fried rice, yogurt, cereal, baked goods, fruit, salad and the coffee machine that made lattes, macchiatos, cappuccinos, etc.

Absolutely magical. Friendly, helpful staff, gorgeous hotel, lovely pools. No detail spared. Very instagram worthy. We stayed in the villa with private pool access and cannot recommend it enough. It was a perfect, quiet retreat that we hope to return to soon.

Eine sehr tolle Anlage, aber nur für die teureren Zimmer ( Moderner, Größer, exklusiven extra Pool) Die Standard zimmer sind winzig (18 m2) Dieses winzige Zimmer ist dann noch mit eimem riesigen Bett vollgestopft. Wir hätten zwar ein Uprade haben können aber nur zu einem viel zu hohen Aufpreis. Ein weiteres großes Problem sind bei diesen Zimmern die Stechmücken, durch die stehenden Gewässer vor jedem zimmer haben diese perfekte Bedingungen. Wäre ja halb so wild wenn die alte Tür nicht einen spalt in der tür immer offen lassen würde. Ich wurde an den Händen und Füßen so schlimm verstochen das ich noch daheim mit den folgen kämpfe. Alles in allem eine wunderschöne Anlage aber die standard Zimmer sind für das gebotene viel zu teuer.

Sawasdee Village exceeded our expectations. It was the most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed at. All the detail that went into this hotel is incredible. Our room was amazing. It was very spacious and clean and had everything we needed. Our bed was very comfortable and huge! We loved the pool access from our patio and the swim up bar in the pool. The pool was huge and beautiful especially at night. We would definitely be back. Thank you for an amazing stay.

The property was very unique in a good way. No other hotel has the same style and attention to detail. Amazing place for pictures. It was scented throughout the property. Now for the bad. The Baray villa, which was the room we booked, was dated. The private tub that led to the pool was worth it. The space felt dark, due to lack of natural and poor lighting. However the amazing staff was able to switch us out of that room and into their 2nd teir room, Cabana Pool Access. This room was smaller but had more light, updated fixtures, a better shower and stars in the ceiling. It's by far the better room. They even throw in complementary massage for two, to offset the price different. Other notables: the hotel is peaceful but the area is lively, safe, 7/11 near by, and walkable. Oh and if your exchanging money do it at the exchange places near the hotel. The rates are much better than the airport.

There are certainly things one could quibble with if one wanted to (so-so food, old TV’s, rooms that aren’t that well sound-proofed) but that would be to miss the point. People come here for the service and for the sheer theatricality of the resort, both of which are fabulous. The area around may not be great, but that’s most of Phuket. There are certainly things one could quibble with if one wanted to (so-so food, old TV’s, rooms that aren’t that well sound-proofed) but that would be to miss the point. People come here for the service and for the sheer theatricality of the resort, both of which are fabulous. The area around may not be great, but that’s most of Phuket. I stayed at the sawasdee village resort and spa. Such a beautiful place. I booked the baray villa for my partners birthday. He really loved it. The room felt like a house since it’s a two story room. From the reception office, it’s not a far walk at all, but I can tell people can get lost figuring it out. The service was amazing, sweet, considerate, and very friendly. I highly recommend to book this room, you get amenities and goodies in the room which is super sweet. You have a jacuzzi that leads into the pool and it’s super quiet and pretty. You’re secluded from the other room type, which makes you feel special. The other pools in the resorts are nice, but the chairs might be taken. For our room, there are more mosquitoes in the area, so make sure to close the pool door at night. Everything in the room is super clean, you get free drinks, tiger balm, mosquito lotion, snacks, and other amenities. We had an issue with the A/C system, if you put the temp down, it goes back up. I don’t know how to figure it out, but I set the timer to 15 hours at 18 Celsius? (The really cold temp) which makes the room stays cool for that long. That was the only thing I had a problem with. Other than that, bed was huge, soft, and comfortable.

Everything about our stay at Sawasdee Village was wonderful, memorable, and lovely. The staff were all incredibly warm and friendly and eager to assist us. The grounds were, simply put, just magical. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we particularly loved that we were able to directly access the pool from our own lanai. The food at the breakfast buffet was delicious and the cocktails at the swim-up pool bar were so tasty. We enjoyed a 2-hour massage at the Baray Spa and though pricier than other nearby options, it was the best massage experience of our lives. We wanted to stay longer than our 4 days! The room was very charming and spotless, free snacks, drinks and bathroom amenities. We had a small issue with the room and the front desk immediately moved us into a much larger, nicer and more expensive suite, with direct pool access. Perfect service and execution!

The staff at this hotel were the most welcoming and helpful staff I have ever encountered in all my travels. The concerige named Boy anticapted our needs and wants before we even realized we had them. We had zero wants while we were at the village. I truely wished we had booked our entire vacation there.

I didn’t receive any VIP benefits. They wanted me to pay for an available room upgrade, no late checkout and no free breakfast even though I’m a Expedia gold member. Overall very beautiful property and an amazing swim up cabana room. Needs some maintenance and remodeling on some of the jacuzzi sprayers but other than that very beautiful hotel.

The resort is great though a little dated. The neighborhood is kind of sleazy and dirty. The resort is like a gem in the dirt. However, the neighborhood has all kind of restaurants and shops. It is walkable and convenient.

Lovely grounds, excellent staff and service, beautiful location, easy access to beach and local shopping. It's a bit far from other parts of Phuket like Old Town but you can always take a taxi/Grab. The food offerings are also delicious!

We stayed before because Expedia recommended it. I stayed again this year and had an experience like taking a magical journey in a fairy tale world. The building has fantastic architecture. The service is very good. All employees are friendly, courteous and hardworking. Cleanliness is very good. There are many different restaurants and markets nearby. You can reach Kata beach by walking in 8 - 10 minutes.

Sawasdee Village was like a fairy tale! The grounds are absolutely magical and beautifully maintained. The hotel staff are polite, friendly, and always smiling. Breakfast is served in a lovely restaurant with a good variety of options, including eggs, cheese and ham, yogurt, pastries, fruits, Chinese steamed dumplings, juices, etc. A tuk-tuk style shuttle runs regularly to Kata Beach, which is very convenient. Everything you might need is within walking distance — restaurants, currency exchange, night markets, bars, massage shops, and more. Highly recommended!

I booked Sawasdee Village for a unique experience our last few days in Phuket. It felt like an oasis, with beautiful grounds and pools, comfortable room and friendly staff. The room was nicely decorated and appointed with plenty of counter and storage space, with separate closet/dressing room, sectioned off toilette and shower that walked out to the pool, patio with loungers. The bed was larger than most king sized mattresses and was very comfortable with nice sheets and pillows. The TV was also large and you can sign into most Apps to access shows and movies. There was a separate router for each room so that internet connection was never an issue. The mini fridge was large with a freezer section and they provided plenty of water (in recyclable glass) that was replenished daily. They provided 2 Starbucks coffee pods for coffee each day. The only downside was that the AC didn't get lower than a certain temperature, but was comfortable for most of the stay. There were plenty of amenities, including 2 large pools with bars providing drinks. We didn't use the gym, but it looked nice with a good amount of machines and weights.The buffet breakfast at the restaurant was ample; eggs to order (including scrambled with multiple ingredients), dim sum, congee, thai dish, fried rice, yogurt, cereal, baked goods, fruit, salad and the coffee machine that made lattes, macchiatos, cappuccinos, etc.

It was like a fairytale. Loved the access from pool straight into the shower. Buffet breakfast was lovely. Did use room service twice, food was okay but breakfast always made up for it. The hotel is a dream. Very clean, friendly and close to the beach. The food is so delicious! I would get the breakfast included. The only things we were bummed out about is the fact that the pool closes at 7pm and the bar at 6:30pm. It is so hot at night that you want to go in the pool after the days excursions. That was a huge one for us.
