The resort is amazing. We had a lovely villa with an amazing view of the sea and sunset. The staff were really attentive and provided excellent service. The food provided in the restaurants was really good quality and other restaurants in the neighbouring resort could also be used. A buggy service is offered to transport you to and from the villa which was a fun way to travel and have a chat with the drivers including Jonny Lamborghini who always made sure we got back safe. Our villa (Romance) came with free in villa breakfast which we used multiple times. Overall we found the experience to be good value and would recommend it.

The villas are gorgeous with great ocean views and a beautiful swimming pool. The common areas are very clean and well kept. The staff is nice but in most cases their English is very limited. Not easy to communicate with them. Our villa was very pretty but it was up too high on the hill and far from the lobby, spa, restaurants, so we had to call and get the hotel golf cart every time we wanted to leave the villa and get back to it. Next time I would prefer a villa closer to the amenities

Amazing adult only resort geared towards service and couples. Every room seemed to have a view of the ocean and it’s own pool. Our room was amazing and very large. If you are not fit for walking inclines then there is a shuttle around the resort.

This property boasts a stunning ocean view, and our villa, complete with an attached pool, was situated right in front of the water, creating the illusion that the waves were almost spilling into our room. The staff is polite and responsive, though it lacks the level of pampering we have experienced in Thailand. The only significant drawback is the lack of a private beach area for hotel guests. If guests wish to use the beach and have a chair, they must go to the public area and pay for a chair and towel. For a five-star, adults-only hotel, I would expect a designated beachfront area exclusively for guests, complete with drink and food service, and included as part of the experience.

I stayed in the villa rooms with the private pool. The room was spectacular the best hotel room I have stayed in. The staff and customer service was 5 stars. They were very helpful and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make my birthday special. Staff were polite and friendly. Great getting around the resort on the buggy’s and the food was also nice and a wide variety to chose from. Nice sandy beaches. Cab fair on the GRAB app very cheap and not to far from patong beach. Would definitely recommend this hotel and I would visit again

Pool was very nice with great lounge options. Access to the public beach is easy and it’s an excellent beach. Plenty of chairs and umbrellas to rent everyday. Buggy service is exceptional. Our villa in love had gorgeous views and was very comfortable. Spacious with nice storage and a comfortable bed. We used the pool everyday. The fitness center was nice with air conditioning and gorgeous views. The resort was very accommodating when my husband wanted to exercise earlier than its official open at 7:00 am. We had a wonderful time. If I had to suggest some changes I would: 1. Update the villa interior. While it’s very clean, the lighting and cabinetry are a bit dated and the villa is starting to show some wear and tear. 2. Our room had a strong odor that was difficult to identify. We figured out it came from the air conditioner. While it wasn’t unpleasant it was quite strong - like a deodorizer of some sort. It was overpowering at times. 3. We learned that the sprinkling system uses reclaimed water and when the sprinklers were in use around our villa, it smelled like sewer water. It was very strong which was not pleasant when we were outside using the pool. We didn’t mention it but it’s worth noting for people that are sensitive to strong smells or have asthma (like my husband). We would recommend this resort.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the property was tucked away on a beautiful mountainside and bay. We did not explore outside of the hotel so it was nice that we had access to the sister property next door with additional restaurants and pools. The room was amazing, very well designed, and the bed was super comfortable. We were in a room at the very top of the hillside and on the far right, so had to call a buggy for rides to the pool and beach. By the end of the trip we braved the walk back to the room a few times but know that walking may be difficult if your room is further away. The buggies were fun and just a 5-10 min wait so not really an issue. The property is very nice and the scenery is spectacular. The room ammenities were excellent. The staff were very professional and attentive. We had no issues with the buggy service and those guys were great. Especially, Johnny, Nicki and Ronnie. The issue we had, it seem as the room we stayed had an ant problem. We called the front desk when ants started multiplying in one sink. They came quickly to address the issue. 2 days later the other sink had the same problem. We requested a deep cleaning and mentioned the ants. At this point we tried dealing with it but then it became a huge issue when it was a colony of ants under the toilet seat. We brought this to their attention with showing a video. The ants came out mostly at night. The front desk gave an apology and said she will let management know. We feel it's a huge problem because the thought of ants under the toilet seat the other nights and not knowing. Also the pool lights didnt work. The scenery would've been much better at night with the lights in the pool. Overall, very nice resort but minor issues need to be addressed.

The Shore is a spectacular hotel, without question. The hotel grounds is beautifully kept with plants and well cleaned and maintaned.The hotel is located on a steep hillside, and in the heat you need to get driven to your room in electrical buggies. The wait time was always short, so this was no problem at all. The villas are huge, well maintained, clean, with lovely design. They've thought about everything here. The views are unbeatable, the privacy is excellent, the pools are great and the tech in the rooms and everything is just top notch. Nothing to fault on the rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We would like to particularly mention Ronnie on the buggies and Aommie in the restaurant for spectacular service. The gym is well equipped. The pool and beach area is beautiful, with plenty of sunbeds and cabanas if you don't want to stay in your villa. The only negative we experienced in the hotel was that the pool area staff could be more proactive in walking around and taking drink orders. The beach is beautiful. The breakfast and food is excellent. Focused on buffet, but possible to order some other options. Try to order the Thai noodles with crab curry, spectacular (but spicy). When you are at the Shore you don't spend time sightseeing, you stay at the hotel, which makes the lack of "local" spots in the area less important. It's not far from Kata beach and more life if this is what you crave, however. Fantastic hotel, but it needs to be for the price.

The only negative we experienced in the hotel was that the pool area staff could be more proactive in walking around and taking drink orders. The beach is beautiful. The breakfast and food is excellent. Focused on buffet, but possible to order some other options. Try to order the Thai noodles with crab curry, spectacular (but spicy). When you are at the Shore you don't spend time sightseeing, you stay at the hotel, which makes the lack of "local" spots in the area less important. It's not far from Kata beach and more life if this is what you crave, however. Fantastic hotel, but it needs to be for the price.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Shore at Katathani and would recommend to anyone visiting Phuket. My wife and I went for our 10 year anniversary and it was the best decision we could have made. The entire property is beautiful and we stayed in one of the Romance villas and it was immaculate, and we loved having our private pool with picturesque sunset views overlooking the ocean with the beautiful mountain backdrop. If youre celebrating a milestone or event like we were its totally worth the cost. The service we received was top notch especially from our driver/room attendant Ricky and the check in hostess Jessie who made check in and our entire stay smooth and seamless. 5 star experience for an incredible property and unmatched service

Beautiful views and very kind service with all workers there but the rooms you can just tell are older and haven’t been updated in a very long time. Even the in-room phones look like they’re from 1990. If this resort did a revamp they would be unstoppable. Also all of the property food and neighboring restaurants were very just ok and very expensive. You have to take a cab to other areas for better local food. It’s not very walkable and you need a cab because it is one of the farthest points in Phuket but if you’re looking to just stay at the resort and utilize your villa it’s perfect.

The villas are gorgeous with great ocean views and a beautiful swimming pool. The common areas are very clean and well kept. The staff is nice but in most cases their English is very limited. Not easy to communicate with them. Our villa was very pretty but it was up too high on the hill and far from the lobby, spa, restaurants, so we had to call and get the hotel golf cart every time we wanted to leave the villa and get back to it. Next time I would prefer a villa closer to the amenities

Nice location and a short ride to busy and buzzing streets of Kata Noi. Plenty of Halal options for in room dining which we loved. Thank you The Shore. This was our second time coming to The Shore and would love to stay at this property again.

What should I say about this fantastic luxury hotel in Kata-Noi? Every cent that I have spent in this hotel has found its appreciation! We would like to definitely book this hotel for the next year and this will be our only stop in Phuket. And many thanks to Hotel guest service front desk, Mrs. Nicole. And managing for all the golf cart, driver, Sun, Ronnie, May, Johnny Lamborghini. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the property was tucked away on a beautiful mountainside and bay. We did not explore outside of the hotel so it was nice that we had access to the sister property next door with additional restaurants and pools. The room was amazing, very well designed, and the bed was super comfortable. We were in a room at the very top of the hillside and on the far right, so had to call a buggy for rides to the pool and beach. By the end of the trip we braved the walk back to the room a few times but know that walking may be difficult if your room is further away. The buggies were fun and just a 5-10 min wait so not really an issue. The beach was great for swimming, but can get very crowded as it’s a public beach, however we always had good seats by the hotel pools. All in all a wonderful stay!

I'm going to start with the two negatives... it is a REALLY long ways from the Phuket airport. We flew in during rush hour and it took us 2 hours to get to the resort - 2 hours of very unscenic views, to put it mildly. Continuing in the unscenic view vein, the little town that you go through right before the resort and can walk to easily, the highlight is the 7-11. It's pretty seedy and a lot of rude tourists from one country in particular. BUT... once you enter the property, it all changes to absolute paradise. Checkin was a bit disjointed, but we were tired and cranky. You really can't walk to your Villa, except for a few of the lower ones, but very friendly valets in golf carts zip you around and show up very quickly when called. Our Villa was just wonderful - had every amenity possible, including my favorite, a totally private pool and lounge area with spectacular views! Perfect place for a honeymoon! We only ate at the main restaurant, but it was excellent and the breakfast buffet was pretty generous. Also in a beautiful setting with more beautiful views and excellent service. Wonderful entertainment at night by a duo with beautiful voices. Spent the happiest day ever just lounging on our deck and slipping in and out of our private pool. Walked down to the beach, but it's not really set up by the hotel and lots of other hotels share it. Still pretty and worth a dip, but I wouldn't spend the day there, when you've got your own private pool back at your Villa!

We stayed in a Romance Villa which was stunning (a Hotels.com VIP upgrade - thanks). The view was superb and the deck and private pool also. BUT - we will not be going back. All the marketing that we saw before we booked showed an empty and very large beach. The beach is certainly large but never empty as it is home to sunbed after sunbed. The Shore is at the end of a bay where there are several other hotels (one which is huge) and it is a very busy area. Not what we expected at all. I hope our photo shows the reality You have to pay to use a sunbed on the beach (even as a guest of The Shore) - and will be amongst hundreds (if not thousands) with barely "a cigarette paper" (English expression) between them. The lovely Romance room and huge, well-maintained, gardens did not make up for that

The resort is amazing. We had a lovely villa with an amazing view of the sea and sunset. The staff were really attentive and provided excellent service. The food provided in the restaurants was really good quality and other restaurants in the neighbouring resort could also be used. A buggy service is offered to transport you to and from the villa which was a fun way to travel and have a chat with the drivers including Jonny Lamborghini who always made sure we got back safe. Our villa (Romance) came with free in villa breakfast which we used multiple times. Overall we found the experience to be good value and would recommend it.

Absolutely amazing stay! We stayed in the romance villa and loved our room. We made great use of our private pool. The staff was very attentive and did everything they could to assure our stay was great. The food at the hotel was delicious

Overall very good hotel, but the buggy service needs to be improved(sometimes takes ages to get a buggy). Limited variety in Breakfast buffet. Excellent and friendly staff. Nice location and a short ride to busy and buzzing streets of Kata Noi. Plenty of Halal options for in room dining which we loved. Thank you The Shore. This was our second time coming to The Shore and would love to stay at this property again.

Beautiful views and very kind service with all workers there but the rooms you can just tell are older and haven’t been updated in a very long time. Even the in-room phones look like they’re from 1990. If this resort did a revamp they would be unstoppable. Also all of the property food and neighboring restaurants were very just ok and very expensive. You have to take a cab to other areas for better local food. It’s not very walkable and you need a cab because it is one of the farthest points in Phuket but if you’re looking to just stay at the resort and utilize your villa it’s perfect.

It was somewhat difficult having to constantly rely on a cart to go anywhere, but the staff was generally very prompt at dealing with your transportation requirements. The Thai restaurant was above and beyond. Unparalleled in terms of cuisine, presentation and service. Overall the staff was very helpful, facilities clean and a highly desirable resort to spend time in.

This resort was amazing, the only downfall was the lack of options for food without having to use another close by resort. The staff was truly amazing, always willing to go the extra mile. The resort, while a way from the airport has a perfect beach and I highly recommend taking advantage of the kissing point. the views are amazing, the 8-course meal was perfect and something my wife and I will remember forever.

The whole experience was amazing. We went for our honeymoon. Could not recommend enough!!! The staff was so kind and hospitable. Nicky and CoCo were the best!!
