Helt fantastiskt hotel resort, tyvärr var vi en hel del sjuka under denna vistelse men allt var kanon även Gala middagen dom hade annordnat under Nyårs afton. Gymmet va helt kanon ocg frukost. Kommer gärna tillbaka igen.

Wow... amazing hotel with direct pool access to every room... Bathroom is hugeeeee, clean and modern. I went with a group of 11, and we have 4 rooms and 1 - 3 bedrooms suite and everyone loved their rooms. Water pressure in the bathroom is strong and plentiful. The rooms were so nice that they are often booked out even if you want to extend the stay, so it's best to plan and book ahead. The hotel even provided buggy rides to the front entrance and back, and right at the front entrance is a good massage place with very strong pressure. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and convenient (as most things are in Thailand). Overall, great stay!

Fantastic hotel!!! Stayed here 7 nights and would definitely stay here again. A few things that were let the experience down (which would have made it basically faultless): - Map & resort info (times, happy hours, activities) should be accessible through the rooms QR code, not just in the folder at reception - Room ordering via QR code is a great concept but things were only delivered once from 3 orders. - Toilet door in the room should be removed. Completely in the way of the toilet and it's see through anyway. It's very annoying. - Gym should open at 6am - A little more breakfast variations from day to day would have been nice, including hasbrowns one day and more Thai options. - It did not bother us but important for guests to realise there is a longish walk to the street from reception. We got a buggy down and walked back as there was not usually a buggy down there to bring us back. Everything else was fantastic. Rooms were so clean and spacious providing a relaxing mood. Shower and water pressure is perfect. Love how a bag, pool towels, and thongs are provided. Enjoyed the pool concept, the gym facilities, and bars. Especially would like to acknowledge the pool boys who were very attentive, especially when parents weren't responsibly watching their young children. The Moon Terrance staff who were so friendly, provided great service, and made delicious drinks to enjoy in such a beautiful environment. The room cleaners who did such a consistent and professional job.

Excellent facility for swimming and fun! We had a swim up room and that was a hit! The only downside was the food. Breakfast was just okay, lots of options, but didn’t taste great. Orderable food was expensive compared to the street and not as tasty.

The property is lovely and as advertised. There are beautiful pools with a lazy river running throughout the resort, which is very family friendly. The breakfast buffet is huge and wide-ranging and the staff is, to a person, friendly and helpful. We would definitely return to Metadee should we ever be in Phuket again.

An absolutely stunning hotel in a walkable neighbourhood. The room was spacious with high end finishes, mattress was comfortable, and the fitness center/gym exceeded expectations. The beach shuttle is an added bonus!

We loved this hotel and had a wonderful time here. We started off in one of the modrrn pool access rooms but it was a little noisy as we had the children's play pool behind is. We asked if there was a room furrher awau and we were veru lucky to be mobed to the older side into one of the villas with a private pool. The large pool on the Jimaphan side was beaitifil ans qiiet. Tje spa was fabulous and we enjoues massagges and a daxial. Super relaxing.. breaakdaat waa wonseedul ans eaxh dau there was somerhing diffeeent on offee. Eggs any way youpleaaeHimapjamrooms

The Metadee Concept hotel is not just a hotel it is a visual extravaganza and a culinary masterpiece. Shout out to barman Boy and the most excellent restaurant manager Mai. From start to finish we were made to feel welcome and the standard of housekeeping and overall cleanliness of the room and communal areas was certainly exceptional. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again soon.

Meget fint hotel. Trukket tilbage fra hovedvejen, så der ikke høres trafik. Hotellet tilbyder gratis golfvognshuffle døgnet rundt fra lobbyen til hovedvejen, hvis man ikke vil gå den lille km. Vi havde booket en juniorsuite med pool udsigt, men fik ved ankomst en gratis opgradering til en juniorsuite med pool adgang. Det var lækkert ! Vi rejste med en baby på 6,5 måned og det gav nogle friheder ☺️ Der var også dejlig skygge på terrassen hele dagen, hvilket var nemt med baby. Kiggede dog misundeligt på villaerne på den anden side, der havde sol hele dagen og tænkte at den var perfekt, hvis man ikke rejste med meget små børn. Poolen var virkelig smuk og havde både skygge og sol, så det var perfekt til alle aldre. Værelset var fint rent og med de nødvendigheder man nu har brug for. Vi boede på rum 5120. Det eneste minus var at der ved bruseren var en form for vækst ved det varme vand. Og ved håndvasken faldt metalstykket ved den varme hane let af. Der var nogle få myg og derfor kunne jeg godt have manglet, at der var et myggenet over sengen til natten, bare til ekstra sikkerhed. Men alt i alt en god oplevelse. Morgenmaden var god og med nye variationer dagligt. Personalet var meget venligt. Klapvognsvenligt at komme omkring.

Fint och stort rum, helt nybyggt på den delen vi bodde på. Tyvärr så sköttes inte städningen, slarvades en hel del, en del dagar fick vi inte handdukar, tog 5 dagar innan dom bytte sängkläderna, stora ytor torkades knappt av och de större glaspartierna i dusch/toalett var inte rengjort ens vid ankomst. Stenhårda sängar. Städningen drar ner väldigt mycket då hotellet i sig är super fint.

The room service was average and completed very late in the day. Would request for basic amenities like ear buds and never received them. Even when room service was completed basic amenities were not always replaced. Got charged for a plastic laundry bag that I had used as apparently they are not free.. Other than the room service the hotel was good.

Metadee absolutely blew us away. The room was beautiful! Clean, spacious and had every amenity necessary. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly - everyone was polite and greeted us with a smile. The breakfast service was AMAZING - so much selection, we were so pleasantly surprised. And everything tasted great. The pool was well kept and clean. The drinks were well made. It is about a 15 minute walk to Kata Beach but they do offer a shuttle to the front of the hotel which cuts off about 5 minutes of walking. Overall I am very impressed and would definitely recommend to any couple or family. It is a quieter resort, so not meant for people looking to party.

I went with a group of 11, and we have 4 rooms and 1 - 3 bedrooms suite and everyone loved their rooms. Water pressure in the bathroom is strong and plentiful. The rooms were so nice that they are often booked out even if you want to extend the stay, so it's best to plan and book ahead. The hotel even provided buggy rides to the front entrance and back, and right at the front entrance is a good massage place with very strong pressure. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops and convenient (as most things are in Thailand). Overall, great stay!

We like the property location away from the hustle and bustle of Kata Road. We also like the layout of the property. Most of the staff at the hotel are very friendly and polite. This was our 5th time staying at the Metadee, we stay in the original hotel because that’s where we have enjoyed all our previous stays. It was very sad to see the deteriorated state of the original hotel. The condition of our room overall was very tired, some examples are: Several patches in the ceiling not painted. Handles falling of bathroom taps when being used. Aircon dripping onto the bamboo lounge positioned beneath it consequently creating a large black (mouldy) stain on the lounge. Power point in the bathroom did not work. Pool - Most of the internal pool lights do not work and have been removed but the wiring from the original lights is still there and protruding from the wall of the pool. The water quality of the pool is questionable, lots of ‘matter’ floating around in the water. The inbuilt pool water filtration system appears to be not working, external mobile units have been placed around the extremities of the pool which are really unsightly and raise questions as to the water quality. The foot bridge over the pool is supported by a metal structure, when you wade or swim under the structure we could see that the structure is very rusty to the point where pieces of rusted metal is falling into the water. These are some examples, disappointing !

The envoirnment of hotel is quiet good and the staff is friendly. The free transfer to main entrance is really good. The hotel staff told me our room was upgraded when we check in. But I don't think so. It is a pool access room as what I reserved. But I reserved a villa acess room which should have bathtub. Also, the room is just opposite to the lift and staff room. It is really really noisy. I can hear the staff talk and guest talk from day to night.

The room was poor. The key card didn't work consistently when put in the slot to give electricity meaning it cut out frequently. The air conditioning stopped working and I had to get an engineer to fix when I was trying to go to sleep. The lock on the door wasn't working correctly meaning the door would open when it should have been locked. it was generally tired and needs updating. Overall I felt for the price point the hotel was completely overpriced for what it offered. Finally the plastic folder at the check in desk highlighting the fines for guests is shocking. I've never seen anything like this in my life. This is not a 5 star hotel.

Large spacious rooms although the rooms could do with better sound proofing. The beds could be softer as the firmness is very bad for side sleepers. Large pool and decent breakfast spread. Staff could use some training to be more proactive. Raining heavily when we were checking out but staff just watched us without an offer to shade us with an umbrella. Some double standards I think but will give them benefit of the doubt when they gave better treatment to a non asian at that same moment.

We had booked a couple of deluxe rooms at this property after reading the great reviews online. We were thoroughly disappointed to see the rooms when we checked in. They had a funky style, old furniture and mosquitoes to boot. Complained to both Expedia and Metadee. They resolved the situation spectacularly! Upgraded both our rooms to 2 separate villas!! The villas were huge improvement and made our stay memorable. Giving them 5 stars for their service. Shout out to Akira and Natcha at the front desk. And the staff around the lobby area. One of them went shopping for me for a duct tape ( to patch our broken bag) since the tape was not available in any of the nearby stores. Pool, facilities and buffet breakfast all great. Kamal’s hot fresh naans in the morning breakfast buffet will make ur day. Will definitely stay again, of course in the newer buildings ;)

Fantastic hotel!!! Stayed here 7 nights and would definitely stay here again. A few things that were let the experience down (which would have made it basically faultless): - Map & resort info (times, happy hours, activities) should be accessible through the rooms QR code, not just in the folder at reception - Room ordering via QR code is a great concept but things were only delivered once from 3 orders. - Toilet door in the room should be removed. Completely in the way of the toilet and it's see through anyway. It's very annoying. - Gym should open at 6am - A little more breakfast variations from day to day would have been nice, including hasbrowns one day and more Thai options. - It did not bother us but important for guests to realise there is a longish walk to the street from reception. We got a buggy down and walked back as there was not usually a buggy down there to bring us back. Everything else was fantastic. Rooms were so clean and spacious providing a relaxing mood. Shower and water pressure is perfect. Love how a bag, pool towels, and thongs are provided. Enjoyed the pool concept, the gym facilities, and bars. Especially would like to acknowledge the pool boys who were very attentive, especially when parents weren't responsibly watching their young children. The Moon Terrance staff who were so friendly, provided great service, and made delicious drinks to enjoy in such a beautiful environment. The room cleaners who did such a consistent and professional job.

Fantastic service, great breakfast and beautiful rooms with great great standard! And let’s not forget the service aswell! Very nice with the carts available to drive us 24/7 back and forth to the entrance of the hotel. Sincerely a happy couple from Norway on our honeymoon!

Good things: -nice clean gym with Muay Thai classes -room service was timely and efficient Less good things: -not convenient to walk to lobby from streets and I usually called for a shuttle to pick me up. -poor food quality (once I had lunch and it was not tasty) -staff at the restaurant should be able to communicate at basic level but I could not even order a plate. -some rooms are renovated and what some are not. -I have asked for a late checkout but they asked for 3000 bhat. Hence, I move forward my departure. I have stayed in at least a few hotels in Phuket and all did it as a complimentary for free. -when I wanted to check out one night earlier, the hotel manager forced me to sign a paper which I had no time to read. He said that was for early checkout. It was very strange. Because I have checkout early other places and none of them asked for such thing. I have contacted hotel multiple times to send me a copy but have not heard from them yet. Overall, I did not feel respected and cared for at this hotel.

Da wir nach einem Tag gewechselt sind bezieht sich das hauptsächlich auf das Metadee Elite: Im Großen und Ganzen war das Hotel durchaus ok, auf Grund der vorherigen Bewertungen ist unsere Erwartungshaltung dennoch etwas enttäuscht worden. Das lag insbesondere an dem ersten Zimmer im Metadee Resort (alter Teil) so wie dem teilweise unterirdischen Verhalten des Personals. Es gab durchaus tolle und motivierte Mitarbeiter aber einige waren so offensichtlich lustlos und teilweise absichtlich unfreundlich das es wirklich unangenehm war (Mitarbeiter tragen leider keine Namesschilder, da kann ich hier keine Personen benennen). Positiv hervorheben möchten wir die Security sowie die Fahrer der Golf Carts die ausnahmslos freundlich und zuvorkommend waren. Sehr negativ war aber z.B.: Als wir ankamen gab es kein "Welcome", kein "how was your trip" - noch nicht mal einen Schluck Wasser. Nur ein einsilbiges "Passport?". Zum Teil mag das an den teilweise vollständig fehlenden Englisch Kenntnissen gelegen haben, aber das kennen wir doch deutlich anders aus Thailand. Das besagte erste Zimmer war dann leider dunkel und ziemlich abgerockt, Flecken auf allen Polstermöbel, muffiger Schimmelgeruch, Mosquitos und abends Kakerlaken. Kurzum alles was man nicht möchte also baten wir um einen Zimmerwechsel. Wir haben uns dann im Schwesterhotel Metadee Elite ein Zimmer angeguckt und das war eine andere Welt, neu und moderner Standard etc. - also wollten wir wechseln. Ausführliche Bewertung bei Google...

The hotel is very pleasant. Clean and modern rooms and very spacious. Access to the pool from your own terrace is fantastic. In fact the freeform pools winding throughout the buildings is the best thing about the property. Rooms were generally quite clean but not perfect. Also towels left for collection were often not replaced when the room was cleaned, depending on who cleaned the room. I had to call reception almost every night to have my aircon reset, as it would turn itself off each evening. Breakfast was pleasant but nothing special. Staff were lovely and helpful. The hotel is a short walk from the main road but staff were always happy to run you down or back again in good buggys. Check in was probably the lowest point. Not much greeting and then they ask you for 3000 baht security deposit instead of just authorising your credit card (which is odd and a little annoying as upon check out you end up with all this baht which isn’t helpful if you’re on your way out of Thailand) and they also give you a sheet full of hotel information to absorb in a hurry - which isn’t available in the rooms. After a long flight and long drive to the hotel it’s hard to remember. Overall I enjoyed my stay though and would recommend the hotel.

The room service was average and completed very late in the day. Would request for basic amenities like ear buds and never received them. Even when room service was completed basic amenities were not always replaced. Got charged for a plastic laundry bag that I had used as apparently they are not free.. Other than the room service the hotel was good.

Loved every minutes of it! Centrally located in Kata, 300m from the main road but they have golf carts to bring you to the main lobby if you don't want to walk. Hotel well appointed, modern and extremely clean. Would recommend this hotel as well as Kata beach over any other hôtel in the region if you are looking for a super nice accommodation. About 10 min walk to Kata beach.

Aircondition fungerede ikke korrekt på værelset, og der var ingen regler i forhold til reservation af sol-stole ved poolen - kl. 9.00 om morgenen var alle stole reserveret med håndklæder ved den ene pool, men ingen mennesker var ved poolen eller stolene! Der er nød til at være klare regler for dette (fx. man fjerner håndklæder efter 30 min. hvis man ikke er der), hvis vi nogensinde skal komme igen. Kaffen til morgenmaden var ikke varm, og til den pris man betaler, så burde der være bedre kaffe udbud.

Fantastic service, great breakfast and beautiful rooms with great great standard! And let’s not forget the service aswell! Very nice with the carts available to drive us 24/7 back and forth to the entrance of the hotel. Sincerely a happy couple from Norway on our honeymoon!

An average hotel. It calls itself a 'concept hotel' but what is the concept? Rooms packed in and not much in the way of soundproofing - you hear a lot!! Housekeeping turnover was always very late 5pm plus, despite my asking them to do early afternoon. My room service food turned up cold. No English TV channels apart from news. Breakfast buffet was minimal and took a long time for staff to clear tables.

Good things: -nice clean gym with Muay Thai classes -room service was timely and efficient Less good things: -not convenient to walk to lobby from streets and I usually called for a shuttle to pick me up. -poor food quality (once I had lunch and it was not tasty) -staff at the restaurant should be able to communicate at basic level but I could not even order a plate. -some rooms are renovated and what some are not. -I have asked for a late checkout but they asked for 3000 bhat. Hence, I move forward my departure. I have stayed in at least a few hotels in Phuket and all did it as a complimentary for free. -when I wanted to check out one night earlier, the hotel manager forced me to sign a paper which I had no time to read. He said that was for early checkout. It was very strange. Because I have checkout early other places and none of them asked for such thing. I have contacted hotel multiple times to send me a copy but have not heard from them yet. Overall, I did not feel respected and cared for at this hotel.

Excellent facility for swimming and fun! We had a swim up room and that was a hit! The only downside was the food. Breakfast was just okay, lots of options, but didn’t taste great. Orderable food was expensive compared to the street and not as tasty.

The property is lovely and as advertised. There are beautiful pools with a lazy river running throughout the resort, which is very family friendly. The breakfast buffet is huge and wide-ranging and the staff is, to a person, friendly and helpful. We would definitely return to Metadee should we ever be in Phuket again.

I don’t know what these other reviews are talking about. But I do not recommend this hotel. Full YouTube video will be uploaded may 1st @beersandbeaches. Great pool and great gym. Other than that. The breakfast is terrible and the hotel is all the way in the back makes it difficult to get to the main road. It’s just a hassle. They do offer a golf cart that takes you to the road but you end up eating 10-20 minutes each way. They need so attention here. This was such a hassle especially in April during the hottest season. Also the TV doesn’t have channels. What’s the point of a big tv if no channels. Also the room in Expedia looked amazing. In real life it was like WISH or TEMU. Plus so many mosquitos. Be careful with this one. I recommend OZO near by.

Metadee absolutely blew us away. The room was beautiful! Clean, spacious and had every amenity necessary. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly - everyone was polite and greeted us with a smile. The breakfast service was AMAZING - so much selection, we were so pleasantly surprised. And everything tasted great. The pool was well kept and clean. The drinks were well made. It is about a 15 minute walk to Kata Beach but they do offer a shuttle to the front of the hotel which cuts off about 5 minutes of walking. Overall I am very impressed and would definitely recommend to any couple or family. It is a quieter resort, so not meant for people looking to party.

Location was great and hotel had everything we needed. Breakfast buffet was such a convenient aspect with a pretty big selection each morning. We loved the main swim up bar, especially during happy hour. There is another pool on the resort that is a little more chill and would go to when we didn’t feel like being around kinds. The hotel was a quick walk to our favorite dive bars Blah De Bar or Lena bar for live music and a fire show Friday nights. But, when I think of the Metadee hotel, manager Knok is the first thing that comes to mind. He went above and beyond his positioning. His recommendations of night markets and areas to check out were spot on! He expanded mine and my husbands knowledge on Thai culture and just had some great conversations. Overall, Knok was nothing short of a gentleman and his kindness was contagious! If and when we book again it would be to see our new friend Knok. I hope he comes to see this review.
