I was in room 307, which was great. Ensuite was lovely and clean. TV in room was good and WiFi was great. Car Park was large but not free. Breakfast was included in price of room, I had a cooked breakfast - the scrambled egg was very grainy (not pleasant). I also had a chirizo and chicken panini in the evening and there was very little chicken in it! In summary room and staff were great but would not eat here again.

Accepting that this a budget hotel, we felt it was excellent throughout. The Colombian receptionist was extremely pleasant and helpful. We simply wanted a convenient stop prior to catching the ferry plus EV charging facilities. It filled all the boxes

Good place to rest your head overnight. Its functional, has EV charging, food options and staff are helpful. Its not a place I would stay for more than a few days though but thats not what we were looking for.

Quick overnight stay close to harbour for crossing the next day . Bed very comfortable. Car park close by with cameras . We ate before we arrived as not much around without driving . Would definitely use again

Nice, well situated hotel for town centre. Car park is quite small so not always space if you arrive late. Quiet location - train line close by but wasn't bothered by sound of trains. Breakfast is OK but could do with more vegan options for the hot food. Only negative is the unpleasant smell in public areas on each floor - not sure if this is to stop people hanging around but it is not pleasant and it can be smelt very slightly in the rooms as well. Having stayed here a few times now know to bring a scented candle with us.

Very impressed that I could change a booking date due to an error, but it took time over the phone with Expedia. Desk staff very helpful and friendly. Disappointed that car parking was £8.50 for 24 hours where it is free parking in other local hotels. This was not highlighted in the booking or website. Shame as everything else was fine. No poached eggs option for breakfast which was otherwise good.

I booked this hotel as the description clearly stated it had EV chargers. I turned up after driving all day and the EV chargers were not there and judging from the vines, they have not been there for a long time. I wasted a booking.

Very dirty tables inside and out, broken outside chairs. At breakfast it took more than several attempts to find clean knife and forks, the chair that i nearly sat on at our breakfast table was filthy. Who i believe was the manager we spoke to during check in wasn't pleasant in the slightest. We do not recommend using the hotel at all.

The hotel is tired and a little grubby. Stains on the wall in our room.and a tv that didn’t work. The staff at check in where ok but weren’t knowledgeable about bar stock local places to eat. The man in the suit on reception in the morning was positively rude. I asked very politely if he could order a taxi for us at which point he suggested that we walk to the taxi rank . When I said I didn’t want to do this he begrudgingly said he would order one which in fairness he did but he was rather rude. It all just felt very tired and like an incredibly cheep hotel that no one cared about.

High standard of cleanliness. Good size bedroom. Easy to use shower. Shower cream and shampoo provided. Breakfast included in price. Helpful staff. The only negative would be the £8.50 a night parking charge.

Easy check in. Slightly dated hotel but clean. There was water flooded into the sink and edge overnight and my things got soaked. I noticed the carpet and wall in the corridor (by the bathroom) was damp and stained. This must be an ongoing issue.

Staff were great. Windows in room were mouldy and drafty with a great deal of noise from the road outside. Bed was uncomfortable as felt every spring coming through on the mattress.

To arrive on the hottest day of 31 degrees and to arrive to our room with no air conditioning was a massive disappointment. Granted we was given a fan but it was the most nosiest fan so bad that my son who struggles with noise was unable to sleep with it in. And with it off it was extremely hot. Not what you expect when you pay £200 to stay for one night !!!!

A nice hotel. Only downside comment is the noise from the heating/air conditioning unit through the night. We had two rooms and both had the same issue of the sound of running water in the background whilst trying to get to sleep. We had the units off but as they were connected to the main system it still ran in the background. Otherwise a nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff.

Unfortunately the heating within the rooms is poor and noisy at night. You can switch it off but it restarts. Also the bedding is poor. Staff were nice and the breakfast was reasonable. Premier Inn is probably a better option.

The best service I have had at any hotel decently at breakfast and dinner. Staff were always on hand to help and nothing seemed too much to ask for. A few items were off the menu but the menu was big enough to have another choice and the staff were at hand to help.

Desk staff was so helpful. I had flown overnight after a day in the airport. I was so tired. I was given early check in, offered coffee and kindling conversation until my room was ready. All staff were so helpful.

To start with check in took nearly half hour and that was with just two customers in front of me and 3 staff at reception. I eventually checked in and went up to my room which had some not very pleasant yellow stains all around the toilet seat. I had an ironing board but no iron and no water in the room so I left my belongings in the room (inc laptop, keys etc) went to reception to ask for an iron and buy a bottle of water from their bar, I was told they don't sell any bottled water so offered me a glass, this still took around 20 minutes waiting at reception for an iron and glass of water. I then went back to the room and to my surprise there was another guest in my room going through my belongings. He had been allocated the same room! After this I went to reception to ask for a refund as I was not willing to stay in a hotel where my belongings were not safe. They told me to wait so they could get a manager and even this took around another half hour. I eventually got a refund but they were having system issues and could not provide me with a printed credit note or confirmation. I then booked another hotel and had a pleasant stay there instead.

Everything about this hotel was great. Location perfect for theatre and town. Staff couldn’t do enough for us, room was clean and well appointed. Breakfast was superb - great variety to suit all tastes and constantly being replenished.

We arrived late and left early to catch a ferry to Brittany. It was easy to find and park. Reception staff were welcoming. Room was spacious and clean. The ferry terminal is a few minutes drive away.

Accommodation very expensive I thought the staff were friendly and helpful Noise from station and trains to one side of hotel. Area somewhat run-down so not ideal location The tyranny of Parking Eye follows like a bad dream. What an exploitative company! They should be closed down for harassment.

We only stayed for one night but found our room to be clean, and larger than we expected. The corridor outside our room was also larger than a lot of hotel corridors which helped to lessen any noise from other guests. We went to breakfast at 07:30 and there was plenty of available seating, and all breakfast items were available. The hotel is ideally located for Poole town centre, ten minutes walk, and it's close to the Lighthouse theatre. The main bus station is also very close so you can easily get to Bournemouth if needed.

Lovely hotel will definitely return, the staff can’t do enough for you and very attentive. We had dinner Fish and chips, not pricey and it filled the plate. Breakfast was also very nicely presented, and lots to choose from. A lovely stay
