We stayed for 9 days. It was Very clean and quiet. Fairly central to shops. Staff was great. The only thing we didn’t like was the three flights of stairs with luggage was difficult and housekeeping after the forth day only ment they change bed sheets and towels. No soap shampoo or coffee was replenished however if you asked for some they gave it. Laundry was free as well as soap but it was cold water only. All in all it was very clean and comfortable.

Welcoming friendly smiling staff, great position as short walk to beach, shops, marina. Studio apt on 2nd floor overlooking pool and beautiful tropical garden, clean comfortable and well decked out.Facilities excellent… 2 beautiful pools, good bbq area at each, laundry if needed. Perfect for my 8day stay.

En studio med enkel utrustning, BBQ fanns med utrustning, inkl kyl och matbord. Då det är en bit till affärer var det jätte bra att det fanns shoppingstroller att låna. Det fanns även strandstolar att låna. Fina tvätt möjligheter. Fanns två mindre pooler i bra skick. Härlig säng.

Communication was terrible both pools and bbq areas not available to use and they did not communicate that with us even though I was emailing them a week before arriving and no apology and were quite rude while our stay . Had to purchase beach towels to go to the beach . Would have at least thought they would be complimentary concidering we couldn’t use any resort features . Pool photos on site were definitely not the photos from the resort , even we could use it . First time in port Douglas and would not recommend Bay villa to anyone.

A little bit far to walk to main part of town. Well overdue for a refurbish. Walk ups to most units. Parking reasonable but tight. Stove top is portable and was on a high shelf and not clean, other dishes not clean. Overpriced for what you got. Staff were great, nice pool.

Lovely affordable place to stay, unfortunately the pool was closed and there were noisy renovations that we weren't made aware of. Parking was a bit on the difficult side. Regardless, great value for money.

Trevlig boende med alla bekvämligheter som kan önskas. Städningen hade kunnat vara bättre, gammal smuts och dammigt. Bra läge och gång avstånd till allt. Receptionen har lite udda öppettider stämmer inte med vad som står att det ska vara öppet.

Standard of cleanliness on arrival was poor, especially the bathroom. Stingy with towels. Extra charge for beach towel. Staff was friendly. Overall a pleasant stay but would not recommend.

We booked a 3-bedroom apartment but we’re given a 2-bedroom apartment with attached studio. Both needed a deep and thorough clean. The complex owner and reception staff are lovely, but are being let down by cleaning staff. It’s time to replace the filthy rug in the living area.

The place is great overall! It's quiet and within walking distance to the main street with all the restaurants and shops (15 mins max). The four mile beach is less than a 10-min walk which is nice. The marina where all the GBR boats leave from is about a 15-min walk which is again not bad. The room is clean and tidy and the kitchen is a nice addition. The pool was always empty when I stayed here. I'm usually picky with hotel bathrooms because it's very easy for mould to grow at the corners around the showers and bath tub but nope it was all white and clean. You'd have to pay for the safe though, I'm not from Australia so not sure how common this is. No complaints overall!

Location was good the property is close to the beach and to dining options. room wasn’t overly clean. The floors hasn’t been vacuumed properly. Some items left behind by other residents. air-conditioning worked well beds are comfortable, full kitchen in our room ideal if you have little kids because there’s a swimming pool outside right in front of your balcony and they can join in the noisy crowd that hangs out there not good if you’re trying to get away from the noise because the pool noise comes straight into your unit can’t really sit out on the balcony because of the noise from the pool. maybe, if you’re looking for something for how to ask for a non-pool view balcony

No advertised complementary toiletries in the room. A lot of mould in the very tiny bathroom. Supposed to be non-smoking section but couldn’t sit on balcony for cigarette smell. Light on very narrow stairwell not working on one floor so quite dark and dangerous at night. And worst of all : plastic wine glasses!!

Old uncomfortable bed. Crappy old/tiny bathroom with mould on inside of shower door, water pressure poor & leaked through old door onto floor. No room & no extras soap, face washer etc. Room cleanliness poor. Location was ok if you like to walk - about 1km to shops/cafes in Main Street. Self parking very tight, but under cover.

Studio was bigger than expected and very clean. Property is very close to main street only 5 minutes walk or short taxi. Nice pools and friendly staff at check-in. Overall great experience for a very good price

We stayed in 1a. It is a little dated. A paint job needed inside. Furniture in lounge was very uncomfortable. Stove top plates very rusted. Bed was very comfy. Other than that it was good.

Access to front main road and back road (rear access) allowed one a choice of access. One can walk to the main shopping and dining area, the library and the marina easily. The bedding (mattress) in the unit requires updating so if you have back issues, the bed in the unit we occupied could be problematic.

Good stay overall. Apartment’s quite tired looking but all the same had everything we needed. No tea towels in apartment and all the labels rubbed off on the oven so unusable which was a shame. Pool was the highlight!

We booked a studio which was quite spacious for two pax and included a great kitchen setup and balcony only downside was the bathroom was tiny with not great ventilation Cleaners and staff all super friendly and helpful even gave us a lock up garage to use Might be a bit crowded in peak season

Great 4star apartments, with full kitchens/amenities, 2 separate pools. Bay Villas is located really close to the main shopping/eats street - great cheap shuttle service pick-up/drop off at your leisure. The staff at Bay Villas were SO friendly & helpful-incl. ongoing communication prior to our arrival, suggestions/arrangements for activities whilst visiting, and easy a/h checkin - which all made our holiday easy, seamless & stress free. SO glad we chose this resort over the billions of others avail in Port Douglas.

Nice apartment in a good central location ... only 10 minutes from the main street in Port Douglas. Lovely welcome from the receptionist, Rhian, who gives a great first impression. Nice swimming pools, although could do with some umbrellas over lounges for some shade. Balcony area was dirty and therefore not inviting. Overall a good stay though.

We had 5 nights in a really nice quiet, comfortable self contained 1 bedroom ground floor apartment with all necessary mods and cons to make our stay really enjoyable. Easy free parking was a bonus and only a short walk from the Main Street of Port Douglas
