Ground floor and reception are beautiful. It does have a library area. This would have been a real luxury hotel or palace in the past, and much of the ground floor and terrace are still grand. The room was very good too, with plenty of storage. Staff was friendly. I asked for an iron and it was delivered promptly to my room. The hotel restaurant was closed for dinner during my stay, but i enjoyed walking towards the central town and finding local restaurants. This hotel is relatively far from the tourist areas, in that it's not bang in the middle of the old town. However, it was very affordable. I can image this being much more expensive if the rooms were updated (they are still very good though). Overall i rate high my experience.

This is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed at! We were provided the Tower Suite and the views of the city were beautiful. Breakfast was delightful and we ate in the courtyard. Front desk staff took care of us right away. I could not ask for a better experience. This is the only hotel I’m considering whenever in Prague. Everything was so clean as well. Definitely recommend it

Great hotel with free parking which is a luxury of itself in Prague. This is my 5th stay in Prague and this hotel is now my first choice in the city. Trams 23 & 11 are one and three blocks away, which will place you in Stare Mesto or Mala Strana in 10 minutes. The area is super safe (next to a police precinct) and the street, a cul de sac, makes it very quiet.

I stayed for nine nights. I’m a gold rewards member and didn’t get a room upgrade, but the regular room was fine. I liked the view of the city from my fourth floor room. The room was clean. I like have the nespresso machine in the room. The breakfast was excellent and one of the main reasons that I booked this hotel. The hotel is not central to the old town but it’s easy enough to walk to the national museum and that area of the city. You can catch the tram (route number 6 is the one we took most often) to the old town area and that was from the nearby station. Checkin and out was quick and easy.

Das Hotel hat einen hohen Anspruch. Bei unserem ersten Aufenthalt habe ich den höflichsten Eincheck-Prozess aller Zeiten erlebt. Aber schon damals wunderten wir uns, warum im Frühstücksraum ein Staubsauer steht. Und warum auf der Anrichte Weinkörbe stehen, die nie benutzt und angehoben werden, um den Staub dazwischen wegzuwischen. Beim (sehr guten) Frühstück schwirrt viel Personal herum, das aber stur vor sich hinsieht und ungeschult erscheint. Der schönste Junge von allen gähnte am Sonntag morgen herzhaft vor sich hin. Hatte wohl eine kurze Nacht. Kaffee habe ich mir dann halt selber geholt.

Hôtel bien dans son ensemble, mais qui mériterait peut-être quelques travaux de modernisation (dans notre chambre en tout cas). La climatisation réversible mériterait d'être "boostée" un peu. Sinon, le petit-déjeuner est très bon et avec du choix. Le personnel est agréable et chaleureux. Nous sommes venus avec un chien, les gamelles étaient déjà prêtes lorsque nous sommes arrivés.

Bra hotell, dock problem med värmen/kylan. Vi där några dagar i april då det börjat va varmare ute, trots detta gick värmen i hela hotellet. Fönsterna i rummen längst upp gick inte att öppna heller.

We are regulars here. The property is in a great location and the breakfast is wonderful. My only complaints are the AC is really bad in the summer. Luckily it was cool at night so we could open the windows. We also never received a room upgrade. My flight over was delayed 24 hours due to mechanical issues and they refused to do anything about crediting me for my room eventhough they had plenty of time and rebooked it to another guest.

This was a great place to stay in a very pleasant and peaceful neighbourhood of Prague. That's not to say there aren't some great bars and places to eat nearby (there are plenty!) - the area just had a special vibe that you wouldn't get if you were staying right in the centre of the city. The hotel itself was great - the staff were friendly, welcoming and extremely helpful (a special thanks goes to Petr who came to my rescue when my safe refused to open on the morning of checkout!). I stayed in a room located in the 'roof' of the hotel, which was spacious yet cosy. I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely look at returning to this hotel on my next visit.

Customer service was very good. Location was an approximate 30 mins walk to old town. It was so quiet. Breakfast had a wide range of choice. Only negative would be that the cooked breakfast which was a buffet style was cold every morning. I didn’t mention to waitress to make her aware that I was not sure the heaters were working on the second morning of our three night stay however the breakfast was still cold on our 3rd morning. However nice hotel would still recommend.

La Palais Hotel Prague is a beautiful hotel outside of the tourist center. When we first entered the room, it was yellow and full of light, we felt very comfortable. The whole hotel is elegant. The breakfast was very good. We needed to take public transportation to reach the historical center and it was easy.
