Great location to explore the Old Town in Prague. Quiet and clean. However, the service leaves a lot to be desired: the breakfast staff were unfriendly and sometimes unhelpful. As an example, when asking for cold milk for tea, I was passed a jug and told "there is milk next to the cereal"! We also had the unfortunate experience of getting stuck in the lift the same night we arrived. Thankfully we managed to work/force our way out, with little help from the staff. We asked for the manager to speak to us about this, with no response, other than some fruit in our room....we assume that was way of apology. Another couple got stuck in the lift the next day! We walked up and down 4 flights of stairs for the rest of our stay. Our repeated requests to hear from the manager went unanswered. Unfortunately we did not expect this level of service from a 5 star hotel, and left disappointed.

We stayed for three nights at Ventana Hotel in the loft room. The room was amazing - incredibly spacious and well furnished. The hotel is located right on the main square, so it’s a perfect base for exploring the city. We just had one minor let down. The listing says the hotel has a bar, but it’s just a small fridge in the reception area to help yourself to free drinks and snacks. It’s not a big problem in a city like Prague that has no shortage of bars and pubs.

They have a wonderful 2 story option where bedroom and bath is upstairs and bottom floor is a big living room w mini fridge kettle coffee maker etc and sofa bed . Very close to old town /clock etc…everything within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked another night on our way home! This time we got a 1 story room and it was equally charming if not more! Rooms have windows that can open and fans for summer. Only negative Is bathtubs which can be high and difficult to get into if you are of a certain age or disabled. We were able to book a tour right here at hotel - though tourist info is not far and church in front has concerts and you can sometimes hear the music from the bedrooms! Lastly refreshments in lobby are free!

Rooms were extremely small. It’s a beautiful property but in need of some remodeling. Elevator didn’t work so we had to use service elevator that only held four people at a time or two with suitcases. I would probably not book this hotel again.

The check in process was simple, although there is only one staff member at the desk. The luggage was taken care of by another staff member who was also very friendly. There is a single elevator up to the room. The room itself is old but can be nice if properly maintained. Unfortunately, there were stains on the bedding and the robes, the room itself wasn’t properly clean, and there was no hot water in the morning in the shower or sink. Also, the shower head was not correctly connected so the water sprayed out in every direction causing a mess in the bathroom. Overall, this could be a very nice boutique hotel if properly maintained. The location is perfect for walking to all of the main tourist attractions. However, it was pretty disappointing for the price we paid.

Il giudizio è nel complesso pessimo. Positivo solo posizione e gentilezza personale reception. Molteplici le note negative a partire dalla colazione e dal personale di sala. Infatti dopo aver fatto presente che la torta con la ricotta al limone aveva della muffa l’addetta di sala non ha provveduto a scusarsi e neanche a togliere le altre fette di torta dal tavola. Altre note negative - confort materasso - arredo datato - tv molto piccola - sensazione di ambiente polveroso (causa moquette e tendaggio) - bagno non ben ristrutturato e rifinito Il prezzo non è assolutamente proporzionato alla qualità della struttura e le stelle non corrispondono al servizio offerto. L’albergo necessità di un vero e profondo ammodernamento!

Clean and very centrally located. Staff were friendly and helpful. Uninterrupted Internet. Our room had AC. Breakfast was available until 11 and included a variety of eggs, breads, fruits, vegetables, cereals, yogurts, juices, Champagne and more.

I had an awesome time with this hotel. It is right in the middle of the old town so I was within walking distance of all the main attractions I wanted to see. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the room was so nice and clean. I also had an awesome view of Tyn Church from my window.

I have stayed at this property before on more than one occasion. It is a superb hotel. I stayed in the superior double room which has a lot of space and has everything to meet your needs. The location is only a few minutes walk from the Old Square. I would recommend either bus 119 and metro to Starometska and a short walk or email the hotel and they will arrange a car to meet you at the airport. Breakfast is excellent, the room was cleaned to the highest level. The staff were always helpful and welcoming. The concierge’s English was good which helped me. Prague is a wonderful city to visit and I will be back and will stay at the Ventana.

The staff was very polite and professional. Our clerk Voita, the breakfast team and housecleaning, all excellent. The breakfast was among the best we’ve had. We stayed in one of the loft rooms which was as advertised but can get warm, the ac doesn’t quite cool it down, they do have a fan near the bed for use. I’m sure the other rooms probably don’t have this problem. I think the warmest day outside was about 85 degrees F, cooler weather shouldn’t be an issue. A beautiful walkable city with free public art installation’s and old churches you can go to with no required fee. We too an all day e-bike ride to a castle from Martin’s adventures, highly recommend. Even though they are e-bikes you need to be prepared for the last part which is steep.

Right in the main square so an excellent location to base yourselves . Friendly staff and a fantastic spread for breakfast. Do not book a room with atrium view...no fresh air and extreme noise from the restaurant/bar on level 1. We were woken up at 6am everyday crashing plates and staff chatter. The air conditioning system in the room was a little dated so was also noisey after being on a while.

This hotel was a great value, terrific location, wonderful breakfast. Special thanks to the front desk personnel who were very helpful especially Haurdin. To upgrade hotel I would say bed linens/pillows could be of better quality.

The hotel is not 5 star.I am a hotelier also.The Doors are very old and not ok for fire..But it is ok for cleaning and good location. Breakfast staff are not smiling and not so polite.There are no options for helal foods.Peoples are coming thousands km away form their home. They should behave more friendly especially in the mornings..But turkish receptionist Hamdin was very polite and helpful.

The front desk staff are all super friendly and helpful. Hamdin helped us to book our train tickets to Munich, saving us lots of monies while Vojta made coffee for us at the lobby and helped with our heavy luggage. Highly recommended to all travellers for their convenient location, helpful staff and clean room.

The staff was amazing!! Super helpful, friendly and so polite! We felt so welcome! We visited three other countries and Praha was were we found people to be the nicest specially at Ventana Hotel. The location was Perfect!! My daughter and I are looking forward to our next visit to Praha and will definitely stay at this hotel again. Absolutely horrific. In all my years of travel and as a Platinum member of Hotels.com, I have never in my life seen such an awful hotel with such abysmal service. Akram (the night receptionist) was rude, unhelpful, belittling, and verbally degrading. The property was dark and locked. The reception area was full of half eaten food with crumbs all over the place. There is zero assistance with baggage. The caliber of this place is more like a two star hotel. The room is stuffy and claustrophobic. No proper ventilation with air conditioning. The room is not completely clean. I could go on. Stay away. I wish I was warned.

I really can't fully rate this hotel because we only stayed one night, and left so early the next morning that we didn't get breakfast. The room was a bit small, but comfortable enough.
