AI-generated summary based on recent guest reviews

At Unilofts Grande-Allée, travellers praise the central, walkable location near Old Québec and generally friendly staff, but many note the older building shows its age with dated rooms, noticeable street and hallway noise, and limited, paid first come parking.

Stayed 2 nights

We stayed at Unilofts Grande Allee two nights in mid-May of 2026. This is one of those old townhouses converted into a hotel. We stayed on the first floor, a very large room with a very high ceiling, with windows toward the street. Very clean and comfortable. Very good location, it's next to the Plains of Abraham, and perhaps a 20 minutes stroll to Old Quebec. That part of Grande Allee has a bohemian vibe, was my impression. They have a few parking places behind the building, but you are not guaranteed a spot. However it you find a spot it's free. I don't think the front desk is open 24/7, but when somebody was there, they were helpful.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great location and unique character We had a great stay at Unilofts Grande-Allée! The location was fantastic — close to restaurants, bars, the Plains of Abraham and an easy walk into Old Québec. The room was unique and quirky, with lots of character rather than the modern, cookie-cutter feel of a typical hotel. The building is older and there is no elevator, so keep that in mind if stairs are an issue. The parking lot is also very small and a little tricky to get in and out of, so parking could definitely be improved. Our AC wasn’t working properly when we arrived, but the staff were very responsive and came to fix it right away, which we really appreciated. There is a nightclub directly across the street, but thankfully it’s only open Thursday through Saturday. We stayed during the week and found the street to be very quiet at night. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The hotel has an old-world, quirky charm, an excellent location,

It is an old bldg and not renovated. The dark blue velvet carpet in all the hallways must have been at least 50 years old. The fridge smelled and was not clean. The rooms are old and I actually slept with the light on. It was overall dingy. No elevator either and steep stairs to 3rd floor rooms. Its def a 2 star hotel. Next too a hostel near by.

For an older style hotel, our room was reasonably clean and quiet. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of this hotel was unbeatable! We were within walking distance of everything we wanted.
