We booked a beach bungalow. It was quite nice. Wi-fi signal was good . Breakfast could be better.Beach during our stay was dirtish - plenty of rubbish comming out of sea. Good that they cleaned it every day. Massage was exelent in the fresh air.

Hôtel agréable bungalow bord de mer bien équipé restauration petit déjeuner avec choix variés sucrés et salé petite mention pour la femme qui nous faisait la chambre tout les jours pour sa gentillesse et surtout sont sourire très bonne expérience j étais déjà venu en 2018 et j étais mitigé aujourd’hui je suis conquis superbe piscine et très bien entretenue

Piscine sublime et immense ! Bungalow très sympa et propre. Être sur la plage c’est très agréable. Dommage que la salle de bain soit équipée d’une baignoire, une douche serait beaucoup plus pratique.

Ein in die Jahre gekommenes Resort. Dennoch für den Preis absolut ausreichend.. Frühstück hätte meiner Meinung nach besser sein können aber so an sich, würde ich es wieder buchen. Chaweng Noi direkt am Kliff mit schönem sauberen Sand Strand und einem 50m Pool. Beide sehr sauber und klare Sicht👍

Hotel was very clean but a little dated. The main issue was lack of internet, it didn't work in the rooms which also meant no TV was available as this was WiFi based. Not the end of the world but a shame as it's nice to be able to catch the news or a movie. Pool and beach very good

The restaurant for breakfast was far away. The breakfast wasn't particularly good, not a big selection. The large swimming pool was not cooled, it was like bath water. Very unfortunate. The location of the resort to the city was very far without TucTuc and the TucTuc prices were very high. The resort itself was quite nice. But very quiet and somewhat remote.

An sich eine super Unterkunft direkt am Strand mit kleinen Makeln. Wir hatten einen Bungalow direkt am Strand und der Ausblick, sowohl am Tag, als auch abends war atemberaubend. Der Strand und die Anlage waren sauber und das Personal hat dir jeden Wunsch von den Lippen gelesen. Wir wurden mit den Worten begrüßt: „egal was ihr braucht, sagt Bescheid, wir möchten, dass es der beste Urlaub wird“. Schon mal sehr sympathisch und man kann auch nichts gegen sagen. Wirklich einen super Service mit sympathischen Mitarbeitern. Das Frühstück war sehr simpel, hat uns allerdings nicht so zugesagt und man hat nur Kannen Kaffee bekommen. Die Speisen im Restaurant waren auch nicht so unser, außer der Burger und die Pommes. Die Bar hat erst ab 12 geöffnet, was bedeutet, dass wir erst um die Uhrzeit einen Cappuccino oder Iced-Latte bekommen haben. Die Getränke an der Bar waren hauptsächlich aus Sirup gemacht 😖. Preislich in Ordnung. Das Zimmer an sich war ganz gut, nur das Bett war ein wenig hart, aber nach Nachfrage haben wir einen zusätzlichen Topper bekommen. Das Badezimmer könnte mal eine Renovierung gebrauchen, aber trotzdem noch akzeptabel. Das Hotel liegt abseits vom Trubel von Chaweng, aber trotzdem gut erreichbar mit Taxi oder TukTuk für wenig Geld. Fahrzeit 7 min. Auch zu Fuß, wer lange Spaziergänge mag ist es nicht „weit“ ca. 30min. Vor dem Hotel sind einige Lokale, wo man gut Essen und trinken kann.

Again a fantastic holiday at First bungalow, love this place! The pool is so nice! The staff is very helpful and kind. Nice rooms with all you need, but the bed is very hard but it helped with an ekstra mattress.

Vi hyrde en beach bungalov i 6 nätter och jag tyckte att rummet var rymligt, rent och välstädat varje dag. Gott om plats för avlastning av väskor och en bra toalett. Stranden var bred och fin och området var mycket lugnt.

Vi havde et standard værelse, som ingen vinduer har. Det gør det meget trist at være på værelset. Der er skydedør (matteret glas) fra badeværelse til altan, hvor man har en grim udsigt til den tilstødende bygning (de andres altaner). Bruserhoved var helt tilkalket, og ingen tryk på vand, derfor ikke muligt at bade. Der er ikke håndsæbe på badeværelset, hvilket er meget uhygiejnisk. Vi havde selv en håndsæbe med. Værelset var meget lydt, kunne høre en mand der snakkede i telefon flere timer om natten, og er andet sted en kvinde kom med udbrud, så min partner og jeg vågnede flere gange af lyde. Sengen er hård. Ude på gangen, i åbningen med havudsigt sad to unge drenge og røg, uden noget personale sagde noget til det. Området hotellet ligger i er ikke charmerende. Stranden er ok. Vi checkede ud efter én overnatning (og en dag før planlagt). Personalet er sødt og venligt.

Waren zum wiederholten Mal im FB, erstmals nach COVID-19 und im Deluxe-Zimmer unmittelbar am Pool. Die positiven Punkte überwiegen dabei deutlich: Prinzipiell ruhige Lage, man kann dennoch zu Fuß nach Chaweng-Center, die Hotelanlagen sind in ordentlichem Zustand (wenn auch nicht mehr neu) und es wird immer alles ordentlich gereinigt. Auch die Klimatisierung der Zimmer passt. Wichtig: Alle Mitarbeitenden sind freundlich und hilfsbereit - insbesondere unsere Housekeeperin war spitze! Das Frühstücksbuffet war früher noch ein wenig umfangreicher, bietet aber immer noch mehr als genug für fast jeden Geschmack. Man merkt aber leider, dass einige Betriebe (Restaurants wie auch zB FamilyMarts) nicht mehr bestehen. Daher muss man teils etwas längere Wege zurücklegen, um dinge des täglichen Bedarfs zu besorgen (Ähnliches gilt für Restaurants). Dennoch ist das Hotel immer noch eine Empfehlung, und man kann hier eine sehr gute Zeit haben. Vielen Dank und bis hoffentlich bald wieder!

初めてのサムイ島でした。ビーチフロントで景色は最高😀初日、２日目と雨に降られましたがその後はお天気にも恵まれました。騒がしさもなく静かに過ごせました。ホテルのどのスタッフも皆さん優しくて、笑顔も素敵でした。お部屋もいつも綺麗に掃除してもらい快適でした。ただ一つだけ、タイのお国事情もあるのでしょうが浴室の排水がスムーズではなく、逆流してくることがありました。かなり焦りましたが、スタッフに伝えると迅速にメンテナンス作業していただき解決。 次回も絶対にここに泊まりたい！と思えるホテルでした。

Skønt ophold i strandbungalows. Lidt slidte boliger, men rene og pæne. Sengene er hårde, men fik en topmadras og det hjalp. Service på hotellet er helt i top. Alle er så søde og hjælpsomme. Stort smil, selv om de knokler 12 timer om dagen. Lækker lækker strand. Flot stor pool. Morgenmaden er ganske fin. Meget godt til prisen.

Stort smil, selv om de knokler 12 timer om dagen. Lækker lækker strand. Flot stor pool. Morgenmaden er ganske fin. Meget godt til prisen.

Just returned from Koh Samui after a 5 night stay. First Bungalow is all about location, location n location. It is bang on the beach and a good beach at that. I had a beach bungalow, overlooking directly into the ocean and literally 25 metres away from the water edge. The waves were calm and one could easily walk in about 50 metres into the water, even with no swimming skills. And now the not so good part...breakfast nothing to talk about, very average. Generally the resort is old and run down and dont look for anything plush in the room interiors, etc. Aircon and bathroom worked fine. I am used to a hard mattress but this was too hard even for me. On my request, they were nice enough to spread a soft mattress topper which made it better. Service levels were acceptable and nothing to complain about. If you feel the price of beach bungalows are steep, its only because of the location. If the stay is not very long, it is worth it.

Hotel was very clean but a little dated. The main issue was lack of internet, it didn't work in the rooms which also meant no TV was available as this was WiFi based. Not the end of the world but a shame as it's nice to be able to catch the news or a movie. Pool and beach very good

Loved first bungalow the staff go above and beyond from house keeping to the lovely ladies and men in the restaurant 👌 to the reception staff amazing 👌view for fireworks were awesome. The only thing that was disappointing was the bed very very hard even with a topper. I will return once the new beds arrive hkpefully sooner than later

Very comfortable rooms, nice beds, lovely pool,I loved the ponds outside the rooms. Yummy breakfast. My only concern was the fridge and TV socket was very dodgy the fridge kept turning off, and the connection to the TV was making crackling noises. So I managed to pull the TV plug out to stop it from sparking, it looked to me that the plug socket was broken.

Vi havde et standard værelse, som ingen vinduer har. Det gør det meget trist at være på værelset. Der er skydedør (matteret glas) fra badeværelse til altan, hvor man har en grim udsigt til den tilstødende bygning (de andres altaner). Bruserhoved var helt tilkalket, og ingen tryk på vand, derfor ikke muligt at bade. Der er ikke håndsæbe på badeværelset, hvilket er meget uhygiejnisk. Vi havde selv en håndsæbe med. Værelset var meget lydt, kunne høre en mand der snakkede i telefon flere timer om natten, og er andet sted en kvinde kom med udbrud, så min partner og jeg vågnede flere gange af lyde. Sengen er hård. The beach is beautiful but beware of booking a “beachside bungalow”. They’re not all exactly on the front row of the beach. Ours was a bit further back. Only like 10 seconds walk but we couldn’t really see the sea. Try to book/ask for front row beachside. It’s quite a basic hotel… but authentic Thai style. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and a short taxi to Chaweng.

An sich eine super Unterkunft direkt am Strand mit kleinen Makeln. Wir hatten einen Bungalow direkt am Strand und der Ausblick, sowohl am Tag, als auch abends war atemberaubend. Der Strand und die Anlage waren sauber und das Personal hat dir jeden Wunsch von den Lippen gelesen. Wir wurden mit den Worten begrüßt: „egal was ihr braucht, sagt Bescheid, wir möchten, dass es der beste Urlaub wird“. Schon mal sehr sympathisch und man kann auch nichts gegen sagen. Wirklich einen super Service mit sympathischen Mitarbeitern. Das Frühstück war sehr simpel, hat uns allerdings nicht so zugesagt und man hat nur Kannen Kaffee bekommen. Die Speisen im Restaurant waren auch nicht so unser, außer der Burger und die Pommes. Die Bar hat erst ab 12 geöffnet, was bedeutet, dass wir erst um die Uhrzeit einen Cappuccino oder Iced-Latte bekommen haben. Die Getränke an der Bar waren hauptsächlich aus Sirup gemacht 😖. Preislich in Ordnung. Das Zimmer an sich war ganz gut, nur das Bett war ein wenig hart, aber nach Nachfrage haben wir einen zusätzlichen Topper bekommen. Das Badezimmer könnte mal eine Renovierung gebrauchen, aber trotzdem noch akzeptabel. Das Hotel liegt abseits vom Trubel von Chaweng, aber trotzdem gut erreichbar mit Taxi oder TukTuk für wenig Geld. Fahrzeit 7 min. Auch zu Fuß, wer lange Spaziergänge mag ist es nicht „weit“ ca. 30min. Vor dem Hotel sind einige Lokale, wo man gut Essen und trinken kann.

Waren zum wiederholten Mal im FB, erstmals nach COVID-19 und im Deluxe-Zimmer unmittelbar am Pool. Die positiven Punkte überwiegen dabei deutlich: Prinzipiell ruhige Lage, man kann dennoch zu Fuß nach Chaweng-Center, die Hotelanlagen sind in ordentlichem Zustand (wenn auch nicht mehr neu) und es wird immer alles ordentlich gereinigt. Auch die Klimatisierung der Zimmer passt. Wichtig: Alle Mitarbeitenden sind freundlich und hilfsbereit - insbesondere unsere Housekeeperin war spitze! Das Frühstücksbuffet war früher noch ein wenig umfangreicher, bietet aber immer noch mehr als genug für fast jeden Geschmack. Again a fantastic holiday at First bungalow, love this place! The pool is so nice! The staff is very helpful and kind. Nice rooms with all you need, but the bed is very hard but it helped with an ekstra mattress.

The restaurant for breakfast was far away. The breakfast wasn't particularly good, not a big selection. The large swimming pool was not cooled, it was like bath water. Very unfortunate. The location of the resort to the city was very far without TucTuc and the TucTuc prices were very high. The resort itself was quite nice. But very quiet and somewhat remote.

Hôtel agréable bungalow bord de mer bien équipé restauration petit déjeuner avec choix variés sucrés et salé petite mention pour la femme qui nous faisait la chambre tout les jours pour sa gentillesse et surtout sont sourire très bonne expérience j étais déjà venu en 2018 et j étais mitigé aujourd’hui je suis conquis superbe piscine et très bien entretenue

Vi bodde i bungalow vid stranden, otroligt vackert, önskade att vi stannade längre än vi gjorde. Personalen var supersnälla, de hjälpte oss med våra väskor och visade vägen. Frukosten var också 5/5! Jättefin uteservering och bra utbud!!

Just returned from Koh Samui after a 5 night stay. First Bungalow is all about location, location n location. It is bang on the beach and a good beach at that. I had a beach bungalow, overlooking directly into the ocean and literally 25 metres away from the water edge. The waves were calm and one could easily walk in about 50 metres into the water, even with no swimming skills. And now the not so good part...breakfast nothing to talk about, very average. Generally the resort is old and run down and dont look for anything plush in the room interiors, etc. Aircon and bathroom worked fine. I am used to a hard mattress but this was too hard even for me. On my request, they were nice enough to spread a soft mattress topper which made it better. Service levels were acceptable and nothing to complain about. If you feel the price of beach bungalows are steep, its only because of the location. If the stay is not very long, it is worth it.

Very comfortable rooms, nice beds, lovely pool,I loved the ponds outside the rooms. Yummy breakfast. My only concern was the fridge and TV socket was very dodgy the fridge kept turning off, and the connection to the TV was making crackling noises. So I managed to pull the TV plug out to stop it from sparking, it looked to me that the plug socket was broken.

The restaurant for breakfast was far away. The breakfast wasn't particularly good, not a big selection. The large swimming pool was not cooled, it was like bath water. Very unfortunate. The location of the resort to the city was very far without TucTuc and the TucTuc prices were very high. The resort itself was quite nice. But very quiet and somewhat remote.

An sich eine super Unterkunft direkt am Strand mit kleinen Makeln. Wir hatten einen Bungalow direkt am Strand und der Ausblick, sowohl am Tag, als auch abends war atemberaubend. Der Strand und die Anlage waren sauber und das Personal hat dir jeden Wunsch von den Lippen gelesen. Wir wurden mit den Worten begrüßt: „egal was ihr braucht, sagt Bescheid, wir möchten, dass es der beste Urlaub wird“. Schon mal sehr sympathisch und man kann auch nichts gegen sagen. Wirklich einen super Service mit sympathischen Mitarbeitern. Das Frühstück war sehr simpel, hat uns allerdings nicht so zugesagt und man hat nur Kannen Kaffee bekommen. Die Speisen im Restaurant waren auch nicht so unser, außer der Burger und die Pommes. Die Bar hat erst ab 12 geöffnet, was bedeutet, dass wir erst um die Uhrzeit einen Cappuccino oder Iced-Latte bekommen haben. Die Getränke an der Bar waren hauptsächlich aus Sirup gemacht 😖. Preislich in Ordnung. Das Zimmer an sich war ganz gut, nur das Bett war ein wenig hart, aber nach Nachfrage haben wir einen zusätzlichen Topper bekommen. Das Badezimmer könnte mal eine Renovierung gebrauchen, aber trotzdem noch akzeptabel. Das Hotel liegt abseits vom Trubel von Chaweng, aber trotzdem gut erreichbar mit Taxi oder TukTuk für wenig Geld. Fahrzeit 7 min. Auch zu Fuß, wer lange Spaziergänge mag ist es nicht „weit“ ca. 30min. Vor dem Hotel sind einige Lokale, wo man gut Essen und trinken kann.

The resort is very nice but room for improvement. Nothing is ideal here for anyone handicapped; the walkways are uneven with interlocking set in sand, there are stairs to every building but no ramps anywhere, the bathroom showers have deep step-in tubs without any safety grab bars, the beach is multi level to the shore and the pool has no stairs into the shallow end with only a ladder to climb from the deep end. The breakfast was fantastic with a huge selection to chose from, the disappointment was in the daily juice, it wasn't fresh and tasted like an instant syrup water mixture. All the staff were very pleasant except the one woman that works at the front desk, she was never interested in hearing about a problem or working out a solution - very abrupt and not interested in offering any customer service - she should not be dealing with the public.

I would definitely stay here again. Very nice resort with a beach bar, pool, nice views. We stayed 3 nights but you could spend a week on this resort easily. Once you leave the resort, it’s fairly busy place. We scootered everywhere but the roads are definitely not as smooth as other places we’ve scootered around in Thailand.
