The Pinewood Hotel

Check in was straight forward but we were not informed there was a party going on with loud music. The lift was broken and we were on the top floor so not great We settled in and my Daughter was tired so went to sleep. The loud music from the party started at 11 and continued till about 2am , not acceptable. I complained in the morning and was told we could have been put in the building opposite but I still think we would have heard the music as it was so loud. I can't recommend staying here even though the room was good , we certainly won't stay here again. The site says it is 8 miles from Thorpe park but it was actually 12 and took 30 minutes.

Friendly staff; clean room; nice restaurant; lovely grounds; BUT no Wi-Fi in room (used lobby Wi-Fi); lift not working (wasn't working 5 mos ago, either); car park flooded extensively during heavy rainfall.

Staff were fantastic, very clean. Hotel itself has seen better days, lifts, air conditioning and spa bath did not work. The hotel is set in a lovely quiet country setting which suited us. To get anywhere though you did need a car, the roads had very fast trafficand no pavements. The gardens and the beer garden were lovely.

Room I stayed in had no hot water in morning or evening. Paint about to peel off doors, scratched furniture, one lamp not working, lift not working.

Very noisy as there were receptions on both nights we were there.

Nothing to fault in the hotel, there was a wedding going on but I couldn't hear it from my room in the e main building(they told me the music would finish at midnight). The breakfast waiter was 20 minutes late (08:20) so had to wait a bit to get tea but the chef had most things under control. Very good English breakfast bufet , quality sausages and bacon. They cook them in the pizza oven right in front of you.

A good hotel to tour film locations around Pinewood and Black Park. Ample parking, drinks terrace & garden, cosy restaurant with limited menu. Food prepared well, nothing fancy. Rooms are decent & clean, perhaps looking a little tired around the edges. Bed mattress soft. Good all round stay, friendly and courteous staff.

Very nice hotel with excellent staff, food very good and a brilliant setting in large park land. Only draw back with it being a converted older building it can be a bit noisy from floor above. Would definately stay again

Hotel need a renovation carpet was dirty and bath fixtures were broken.

This was my second stay at the hotel and a vast improvement on my first. The room was much more fitting of a 4 star. Well proportioned with a hairdryer, luggage rack and fully equipped bathroom including a bath. These were the essentials that my first room lacked. One thing that has been consistent throughout though is the wonderful staff and excellent level of cleanliness. As before my room was spotless and check in/out was easy with ample parking available on site.

Nice and tucked away. Very clean and the daily room clean is amazing the team really made it home from home. Will stay again and recommend to friends and family. Thank you all

My stay was horrific. I paid £155 for this room. The carpets were filthy. The bed was broken. The bath didn’t drain correctly. The overflow on the bath was leaking so the water was going down into the room underneath the TV didn’t work not good at all Very run Down.

There was a party downstairs with loud music reverberating in the room I was allocated. I immediately asked to be moved which the receptionist didn't hesitate about. My next room was in the annexe building. Nice and quiet but incredibly hot - I turned the heating to 16 degrees but was hot all night. An accessible shower with tons of lovely hot water. But also very mouldy tiles. Damaged/ dirty carpet in the bedroom. Bed comfy. Everything I would expect in a room for a one night stay. Didn't have breakfast.

Room was spotless and the staff are brilliant

Cold showers and damp in the walls. Owners need to invest some money. Need some major updating. Operating it on a shoestring.

The staff were very coutious and kind. Also the room was very clean would stay there again.

Dinner finishes at 8pm/ there is no room service. I was with my daughter for an early appointment and the tv wasn't working in either of our rooms, the staff said they'd help but then didn't. We had planned to watch tv and get room service and have an early night this wasn't possible. I upgraded us both to an executive room both were disabled rooms and both carpets were disgustingly filthy. My bathroom was very dirty and the shower sprayed everywhere as it was clogged with dirt. We went to have breakfast and my cutlery had food on and after the whole experience we couldn't face the food and left and had breakfast elsewhere, I am still waiting for my breakfasts to be refunded as we didn't have them. This is the first hotel I've stayed in on expedia that I would encourage them to remove, it definitely isn't a 4 star I would give it 2 but then with an expectation they clean the carpets and mould and have a better kitchen hygiene.

Good value for money. The inside of the property is a bit tired. The shower kept going hot and cold. Beds were ok. I would say it is a 3 star rather than a 4 star. Didn’t eat in the hotel so can’t comment on that.

Decent hotel with comfortable rooms & all the facilities you might need for a trip to the area. Quick drive to Slough town. The WiFi is pretty poor, intermittent & low signal.

We had originally booked in for just one night (Monday) but decided to extend our stay to 3 nights, we had to call the hotel to do this. Unfortunately the night check in, after an incredibly long and hot day, when we arrived we heard very loud music and a number of teenagers in the car park and surrounding area. We were told there was a prom being held. The music would end at 23:00. We went to our room, and of course with the weather being so hot the windows were open. The air conditioning did not appear to work, but there was a small fan in the room. It was uncomfortably hot, and incredibly noisy. The music ended at 23:30. The next day we asked if there was another prom before we left. There was another on Wednesday, which was our last night. The music ended at about 22:45. I do not have an issue with the proms being held, what I do have an issue with is not being told. It must have been known at the time of booking, Knowing we were going to have 2/3 full on busy days, we really wanted to relax and sleep,once we were back in our room. We would have with a degree of certainty not chosen to stay here. Other than that, the staff were pleasant. The room was clean.

The walls were paper thin you could hear everything, every time someone opened and closed the door to the annex building. The toilet leaked, the bed was sunken on one side. Overall, not a great experiance.

Stay was reasonable however hotel was generally in need of a refurb with paint on doors quite grubby, also stains on the ceiling and an air con unit badly in need of cleaning. Bed was quite uncomfortable. There was also no bottled water in the room.

As a result I needed to have the window open all night onto a main road. This was very noisy. Sweltering room, with little to no sleep. Would not recommend this hotel.

Extremely hot room, secondary glazing meant very small window opening, AC gave no cooling, shower screen didn't open, toilet would not flush, TV remote failed to operate TV, school prom (which no one had advised when we booked) still generating noise at 12:15am. "Executive double" smaller than smallest travellodge. Staff uninterested. For first time in 35years, left hotel before sleeping! Total waste of money.

There was poor Wi-Fi signal in the bedroom which was unusable as it disconnected every minute and when it was connected was so slow that nothing loaded before it disconnected again. Breakfast was shown as included for in my booking but this was actually chargeable as an extra when I was there.

Met and greeted with warmth, advised on dining straight away as we were running, food was really nice and service was really good. Left this morning to a very nice gentleman working the reception. Overall a really good night

Booked an overnight stay before flying from Heathrow. Lovely peaceful hotel in beautiful surroundings. Staff all very friendly , single room but was plenty big enough. Parked right outside hotel . Restaurant food was really good . Only took me 20 mins to get to Heathrow the next morning , feeling relaxed and refreshed. Would highly recommend

A lovely Hotel close to Windsor with friendly staff. Our bed was quite uncomfortable which was a shame as overall this is a nice hotel.

25mins from Terminal 5. We stayed for an overnight after a late flight. Good value for money and easy to find with the sat nav. The room I was in was a good size and the bathroom decent. Also had free parking. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again if I fly early or artive late into T5.

Easy parking and easy to check in, close to work.

Overalp, the hotel was good. It’s clean, in a nice area and parking is great. Couldn’t see the benefit of the executive room over the normal double and the kitchen closed early so had to go elsewhere.

Great kitchen staff. Food is wonderful. Beautiful grounds and surprisingly peaceful.

Lovely hotel with clean spacious room. Staff extremely helpful and friendly from check in to restaurant. Food was fantastic I had a pizza from the gorgeous wood fire pizza oven. Breakfast was perfect too, lovely sat watching the roebuck grazing on the lawns outside

Rrception kindly changed my room, for a room with a view. Waiting staff were not fully knowledgeable about the food. Limited items available due to the time of year. The food was lovely. I would stay again.
