The property was a little tough for us to find the entrance (use the upper road not the lower road) but was very charming once we got in. They have a shuttle to the train station available for ~12Francs which was super helpful when we left. The included breakfast was very nice with a beautiful view. Our room did not have air conditioning (seems to be normal in Switzerland) and was a little warm at times but with a window that we could prop open for some airflow. Would stay again!

Lovely hotel in St Moritz with a view of the lake. They had free parking which was a huge bonus for us. Room was large and very comfortable. Easy walking distance to everything but mind you it’s up on the hill. Great breakfast was included. They have a nice restaurant and bar if you want to just stay in. Recommend trying Ricardo’s for dinner though, we had great meal there

Interior is old but antique and luxurious. Great Breakfast room with a mountain view and staffs service is very warm and welcoming. Hotel is located on higher elevation and walk is little bit on a high slope. If you are travelling by bus from the train station, entrance is a bit confusing and you need to walk a bit on a high slope road. While returning to the train station, we took service from the hotel which charges Fr 12 per room per journey.

Location is great. The staff is not friendly. The check-in process was fast, but the receptionist at the front desk was short, cold, and passive-aggressive. The next day, another receptionist was nowhere to be found at first. Later, I discovered that she had been smoking a cigarette at the restaurant next door. I stood there for a good 3–5 minutes, left, and then returned, only to find the reception area still unattended while she was inside the restaurant smoking at the bar. She was there for the next two days. Shuttle is available but for a fee. No iron available to use. I was told it can be sent out for ironing but won’t get it until the following day. All this could’ve been communicated at check in process. Speaking of smoking, it was impossible to sit inside the restaurant due to the stale smoke odor. Even walking through the restaurant to the patio made it hard to breathe. The breakfast was great, and the staff there were excellent. However, both receptionists at the front desk should consider a different line of work, as they are not suited for this type of service. Rooms were older but clean. Location is great. Could not tolerate the smoke odour in the hotel. Will not stay again.

This is an old property but had charm. Wonderful on site dinning, had the best pasta there. The breakfast was good, a lot to pick from. The dinning room and bar had seating overlooking the water. There was a lift to take you from the main floor to your room. Lots of antiques to look at on each floor.

I spent 2 nights in this hotel while visiting St. Moritz. The property is old and dated (however the bathrooms have been ungraded). Although I was in a no smoking room, the floor that was on smelled like smoke and that was a big turn off for me. Also, the common areas are very dated (old) in appearance. The good news is that I spent very little time in the hotel room. Although the property is older it does have a lift which is a plus!

A gem of a hotel which is why it is continually booked out. The decor probably hasn’t been updated in 40 years and might seem dated (not tired) with quirky features such as bathroom basins behind cupboard doors, an array of charming nik-naks around the hotel and an old fashioned lift with no safety door. Everything is spotlessly clean, beds are extremely comfortable, rooms are large (yes, you must spend the extra money for a lake view) and the dining room and cosy bar/balcony is a real treat. In an era of characterless chain hotels this defies the norm and is wonderful for it. Comfortable and with great staff I’d love to come back for the winter!

Location was fabulous, just a short walk to the village and the lake. We had a room with a lake view and it was absolutely beautiful. Bed was super comfortable. Parking was easy. On the down side, most of the lights in our room didn’t work and the coffee/tea facilities in our room included two random tea bags only - no basic black tea and no coffee.

The staff at the reception and in the restaurant was great! Check-in and check-out was very efficient. Given the price per night, some renovations would be expected. The bathroom fan was making so much noise , I thought it would break. Not possible to turn it off since it went on with the lights. Hard to not to wake up someone who is sleeping…. The location is great (walkable everywhere) but it was surprisingly noisy if you left the windows opened for air.

It can be seen that this hotel was luxurious in the past. It is full of classical atmosphere, especially the public areas, which I like very much. The room is spacious and bright with a beautiful lake view. If the furniture and bathroom can be renovated, it will be perfect.

Nothing negative to mention, except having to pay twice for an already paid-for streaming service (an extra 2.99 chf) in order to view it on the TV, which we refused to do and the room would have benefitted from air conditioning.

Excellent stay at this charming hotel. Great location. Helpful staff. The views of the green forest and snow capped mountains from our room were amazing!!! Best views of any room that I have ever experienced. Good breakfast provided. This hotel is a great value. I would most definitely recommend staying here. I would definitely come back and stay here again.

Renovated old building with wonderful views of the lake and nice breakfast and bar area, and otherwise standard amenities for a 4 star hotel. Rooms on the smaller side (but not small for Europe) and service is friendly but limited (think no front desk after 10 pm, extra pay to be picked up from train station during limited hours, but taxis available). overall, a great choice for one night in St. Moritz at the end of Glacier Express ride on the way to Italy via Bernina Express for our family of four.

O hotel tem uma vista incrível, a equipe de limpeza foi simpática mas as pessoas da recepção foram todas extremamente antipaticas. Não chegaram a ser grosseiras, mas não foram a amáveis. Esse foi o oitavo hotel que ficamos na Suíça nessa viagem e foi o primeiro que achamos os funcionários meio mal educados. Em todos os hotéis que ficamos pedimos talheres emprestados e em todos nós emprestaram. Nesse, falaram que não tinham. Como não vai ter talher num hotel? Ele fica bem localizado mas é importante saber que é uma subida grande da estação até ele, então pra ir a pé com malas não dá. O café da manhã deixou um pouco a desejar. Também perguntamos se poderíamos comer o que trouxemos do mercado na sacada do bar e não foi permitido, sendo que o bar estava fechado e ninguém estava usando. Novamente nós outros hotéis pudemos comer nos terraços e sacadas.

Good hotel and reasonably priced by St. Moritz standards. The location is also good, it’s a short walk away from the restaurants and stores. I wasn’t impressed with the breakfast which does matter in St. Moritz because it saves you from spending $50 on a meal elsewhere. No eggs, no bacon, and no pastries.

It’s an old building with lots of charm, however as it was relatively the most expensive stay on our trip, I was very disappointed with the facilities. The tea and coffee in the room was non existent. I asked for milk and was refused it as they said they didn’t supply it. We had one tea bag earl great and one tea bag vanilla. No coffee at all. 2 sugars. We should really be refunded partially as we paid for this service but was not given it. The bathroom is nice but no where to hand the towels, just needs 2 hooks of back of door. The room is extremely dated but the bed was very comfortable, however room temperature was so hot, it did not make for a comfortable sleep. Breakfast was very bear minimum no hot food on offer, just cheese's, bread, meats and cereal and boil your own eggs. The staff are lovely but the actual Service is poor. The view was the best part of this stay. Can not recommend, if I’d paid half the price or even £200 a night maybe understandable but over £350 it’s a poor hotel for me.

This hotel is situated nicely in St. Moritz. It sits high up in the city, and it is well worth reserving a room with a view of the lake, which is absolutely spectacular. Breakfast is very well done, with elegance and views of the lake and surrounding mountains that overlook the city.

Would definitely recommend. The restaurant is quite fancy and expensive. Nothing really to choose from if you just need a light snack before sleep and nothing in the area that is close aside from a pub that has terrible reviews so didn't try it. I confirm the bathroom is small but not really a problem except controlling the water temperature, gets very hot quickly. Very clean and bed was very comfortable. Very friendly service. Would not hesitate to stay again.
