Staff were friendly and helpful. The lift is still out of order, as it was 12 months ago, which is not great. The room was a good size, but the bathroom especially needs updating. There were cracks in the sink and some tiles. The shower cubicle leaked and the toilet cistern was constantly running. The car park spaces are very tight. Good breakfast.

Large room, typical holiday inn style. No safe or fridge but lots of electrical outlets. Also had a couch that could be made into a bed. Comfortable and clean. Only problem the elevator was broken. Free wifi. Included breakfast.

Great staff. Always very polite and welcoming. My only gripe is that the car park spaces are very narrow and the car park needs to be bigger (or share with the Harvester!) That said, it’s better than a lot of other hotels, and I’ve always been able to park somewhere. Lift hasn’t worked for more than 6 months. Doesn’t affect me, but I’d imagine that’s more than inconvenient for some others.

Parking can be difficult if you arrive late, despite a large car park, but it’s free, and I’ve always got a space with a little patience so can’t complain. Lift has been out of order for at least 4 months, but it’s only 2 storey so not the end of the world. Great staff, good breakfast. Clean. Quiet rooms.

The best free wi-fi I have used. Lots of parking, which you can register your car at reception. The rooms were clean and well maintained and well stocked with tea/coffee/milk

Overall clean, v good for the price etc. Clearly work and maintenance being kept on the top of (eg, new lift), but there are some parts of the trim and rooms that are starting to show their age and will need to be refurbished in the next year or so. Staff were amazing (5 fives for them), but is a 50p bottle of water really needing to be sold for 2.50 ? 3.50 for a small bottle of Coke etc.

Reception staff were all amazing. Breakfast was excellent plenty of choice. This was booked as a couple but we had 5 rooms in total with other members of the family joining us. My mum was in a wheelchair James in reception gave a super warm welcome to my mum and continued to provide an excellent experience for us throughout our 3 night stay. Rooms spotless, housekeeping excellent. The whole stay was faultless. We can 100% recommend staying here. Thank you all at the Holiday Inn Express for making our stay an excellent one.

Dirty unwashed glass in the room. Looked like it had been used as tooth brush holder. Almost a tenner for a glass of red wine!!!!!!!! More than most decent independent restaurants! Won’t be using it again.

On arrival I waited 30 minutes to be checked in because there was only 1 staff member ( who was serving the bar) , the other was on break. The room had a stench, there was hair in the shower and puddle of water by toilet due to a leaking shower. The towels had hair on them, the room was not clean. The toilet smelt like a public toilet. String smell of urine. Breakfast was good, with a decent selection to o choose from. Staff were friendly

This was our 5th stay here while we’ve been getting our house ready. The other 4 rooms have been ok, this one (140) was terrible. It stank of bleach, the sink was half blocked, carpet was dirty, the light didn’t work and the duvet cover was dirty and ripped. Very disappointing.

The room was far too hot and we got the receptionist to try and adjust the heating but it was not working. We had to switch it off and leave the window open all night but as the room was close to the motorway so we had the noise from there. Also, the bed was in need of a replacement mattress as we kept rolling into the centre. Overall we did not get much sleep, room 36.

There’s no air con and the weather was too warm. We only had a small desk fan for 4 people.Staffs were friendly and supportive though. With the weather becoming unpredictable, it’s better if each rooms have an air con for the comfort of every costumers.

We had an extremely pleasant stay, we did move rooms as I could hear an extraction fan which would have affected my sleep, we were moved immediately with no fuss, we had evening food, reasonably priced and reasonable choice, after a very peaceful night we had breakfast, this was extremely good value and had everything we needed before our running event, with plenty if time to enjoy it,

Staff were brilliant in all areas. I could not get into my car as someone parked too close and as I have a back problem, one of the staff got in from the passenger side and got the car out. All staff were brilliant. One suggestion - as vehicle parking is not controlled by the hotel, they do not know the car numbers of the guests and there is no way to find out whose car it is. Please tell all hotels to take the vehicle number as it will be very useful in a situation like this

This is the second time we have used this hotel and we will return. The hotel is on the outskirts of Swansea but it is easy to access the city. The room and ensuite are in good condition and clean and comfy. Breakfast is included in the price and there is a reasonabe choice of food available. All the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Shane in particular was extremely helpful i giving us information restaurants in the city

On check in Jason was very helpful and we were able to check in early, The room was clean and quite adequate for a 2 night stay. The hotel is about a 15 min drive from the center of Swansea.The center of Swansea was a little disapointing, Next to the hotel there is a Harvester and we are here on the first night. It was standard pub food and reasonably priced. Woul d use the hotel if in the area again,

So far this is the best budget hotel my family and I stayed in. The room was very clean, staff were all friendly and the breakfast although same with other hotels were very better tasting. The staff were very efficient and organised. I hope other holiday inn is the same.
