Amazing location, perfect apartment for my family, we loved our stay. The only two things I would fault is the beds did not have mattress protectors on them which is an absolute NO with children. Also the parking is a nightmare and no where is listed online that you have to pay $35 per day for parking. I’ve never stayed anywhere in Australia where I’ve had to pay for parking. Overall I would definitely stay again.

The Hotel facility and the room we stayed in, is in a dire need for an upgrade/refurbishment as the furnishing and facility is not in a good shape. The over all location is not bad and there are some nice restaurants around the area and it’s a few min walk from the botanic garden and about 20min to the city. The immediate area of the Hotel is not that clean and parking is not great. Parking was not available for us as the reception said they are fully booked, but Hotel details saying parking is available?! Convenient but overpriced

Toxic fumes filled the hallways and into the guest rooms from the paint work as the building was being renovated. We were desperate to leave after our late check in at 8pm but unfortunately we couldn’t find alternative accommodation due to a busy weekend so was forced to stay the night. I had young children with asthma but we had no choice. We checked out first thing the next morning. We raised our health concerns to the hotel staff and that we felt the place was not habitable. Despite the terrible experience, they continued to charge us the full rate for that night. Needless to say our family holiday was ruined thanks to this hotel.

This room was not as pictured on Website. No balcony, washer that was not operable. Website said there was an indoor pool but staff said it hasn’t been in operation since Covid. Disappointed.

The property was clean, bed was good and room was spacious. Area great. No parking onsite, check in staff recommended parking however it was a lot more expensive than stated, costing $120 for 16 hours.

The staff were welcoming and very helpful. But the room itself, the shower leaks all over the floor, we had to use our towels to mop it up. The pillows are flat, the bed is soft. The drier in the room didn't work properly, instead of running the 150min it was supposed to do, it ran 15min at the most. The windows were frosted over so you couldn't see outside. Not like the pictures on the website. And parking is non existent, we had to park over at Woolloomooloo secure parking and pay $35 everyday. One the plus side you could walk to the botanic gardens and the Sydney Opera house quite easily.

This property is in a fantastic location in a nice area, easy walking distance to all the major attractions, and the apartments are nice and spacious and quiet. We had the one bedroom family apartment, which worked very well for our family of four. However, the apartment itself was very run down and grotty. The worst thing was that it was impossible to open the sliding doors to the wardrobe in the bedroom as they were both completely jammed on their tracks. There was water dripping from the air conditioning vent onto the bed. The sink plug was completely jammed up with hair and gunk and wouldn't drain so we had to take that out and clear it. In general, the apartment was not particularly clean. There was a weird vase on a shelf with a half burnt and deformed brown candle in it (major fire hazard), which was grotty and covered in dust - what the? Having paid $675 per night on the Taylor Swift weekend, this was a COMPLETE rip off, but all properties were taking advantage of this. I wouldn't pay more than $250 per night even in Sydney. It does have location, security and spaciousness going for it but definitely not quality or cleanliness.

The reception staff were very friendly and accommodating, but the condition of the room wasn’t great. It was dirty, sheets were dirty, fridge was leaky and door didn’t close, bathroom was leaky, wifi was a huge disappointment as it never worked and the windows were so dirty. There was a big cockroach in the room too. Efforts could have been made with continental breakfast too. Not going back there.

The location seemed to be perfect in Sydney CBD and close to the key tourist locations - Harbour Bridge, the Circular Quay Wharf, Opera House and also the pickup points that are available with Day Tour operators. Quiet and Peaceful and Safe location for families. Thank you for making our stay pleasant.

The room was slightly dirty and even found a dead cockroach. The shower head was broken and some how managed to have shower which then flooded the shower and the bathroom. Informed the lady at the reception who said she’ll send someone but don’t know if that happened, asked for extra towels and never received it as we had to use the existing towels to dry the bathroom.

Pros: The receptionist is very helpful. They did what they could do. Very handy location. The bus stop/ train station is walkable. The Wharf is walkable. Room has a kitchen and utensils. Cons: 1. Worst WiFi connection. I stayed in Level1. Got the paid WiFi too. But, most of the time it didn't list out. Even if it is listed, then it didn't connect. ( So please use your mobile network. That's what the other people are doing when I checked with them) 2. The AirCon wasn't working. I informed the receptionist. But we slept mostly in a chill atmosphere. 3. TV has only standard channels. No Netflix/ Youtube. 4. Utensils aren't clean. 5. The light brightness was very dull. We lived in a half dark area. From our experience, it is okay for the bachelor if they don't mind WiFI. Otherwise, not a recommended stay.

Nesuto is well-positioned if you are wanting to be in the heart of Wooloomooloo (which we were). A quiet hotel and a good-sized room. It was great to have your own kitchen and parking on-site (for a fee). While clean, the room was a bit tired and the bathroom was in need of some renovation. Unlocking the door was a major challenge - we finally worked out the knack on our very last entry!!

We stayed in a very spacious studio apartment, the room was lovely but had a really odd unpleasant smell unfortunately. The king bed was completely separate from the rest of the room which was awesome, with huge storage and hanging space in the mirrored wardrobes. Only down side was that one side of the bed had a really bad sag in it - mattress could definitely do with being replaced. Other than those small things the room was perfect - had a huge bathtub and the bathroom was also equipped with washer and dryer. Proximity to amenities was great and the little pub next door "The Frisco" was fabulous - highly recommend the all day yum cha menu. Oh and the View was spectacular - Harbour Bridge, Centrepoint Tower, and the Woolloomooloo harbour.

We loved the quiet rooms, and the outlook to the city. Nice and central with easy access to town. Our initial booking was for 5 nights, however we extended our stay to 10 nights. This was a lovely apartment block to call home for that time. Great assistance from Regina at reception when needed. Wifi worked well in the lobby, but not very strong in the room.

Overall a good experience. "Room" was spacious and clean, with small kitchenette and good-sized bathroom with washer and dryer, which was great Three downsides: 1. Fair number of steps to get into the lobby from the street. Very hard for us (women) to get our bags (packed for 3-week vacation) up them. 2. One of the twin bed in the room has a mattress that was so old it almost folded in on the person sleeping on it. She had to eventually sleep with another guest in the King bed it was so uncomfortable. 3. The King bed was on about a 5-6" platform, carpeted the same as the rest of the unit. Not being accumstomed to this, we all "fell off" it at least once. Getting up to the bathroom in the middle of the night and forgetting it was there. Just walking through the unit and not seeing it, as the carpet "blended" and the drop off (or step up) became "invisible." We are lucky no one was injured, given that two people actually fell.

Stayed here for five nights in a studio apartment with my sister. We found it quite good with two king beds in semi-separate rooms (more dividers than true rooms). The apartment was spacious, quite clean and most bits and pieces worked quite well, although main door lock to the apartment was very difficult to operate, requiring strenuous manipulations (definitely needed fixing). Beds were comfortable, although space around the bed in my ‘room’ was tight. Shower and bathroom were good. Location was quiet with a few eateries and hotels around, and within a reasonable walking distance to the city and most sights around Sydney. Buses and Kings Cross Station also not too far away. Parking a bit expensive, but I think that’s the case anywhere in Sydney. Would stay again depending on the nature of the trip.
Stayed here for five nights in a studio apartment with my sister. We found it quite good with two king beds in semi-separate rooms (more dividers than true rooms). The apartment was spacious, quite clean and most bits and pieces worked quite well, although main door lock to the apartment was very difficult to operate, requiring strenuous manipulations (definitely needed fixing). Beds were comfortable, although space around the bed in my ‘room’ was tight. Shower and bathroom were good. Location was quiet with a few eateries and hotels around, and within a reasonable walking distance to the city and most sights around Sydney. Buses and Kings Cross Station also not too far away. Parking a bit expensive, but I think that’s the case anywhere in Sydney. Would stay again depending on the nature of the trip.

Staff are completely incompetent, from the initial booking l, to arrival and even on checkout. Room was a good size but stank, only positive was the Manager who was lovely, came in early the following morning to help me out with my issue. Will never stay here again!!

Lovely night. Very friendly, i woild zay above and beyond service. Found us a carspace outside (crazy right!!) and upgraded us to a room with a balcony since it was a birthday night celebration. Couldnt be happier honestly it was perfect. Huge room and very clean. Good job guys 5 stars

Excellent just couldn’t get in without a key. It’s an apartment bldg. had to wait for an outsider to let me in. No one at front desk for 20 min. Once u was in I had to wait for check in time. It was wonderful once I was in.

We stayed here four nights while visiting Sydney with my brother. It was nice to have a sleeping arrangement where we had a bed for the couple and a single each for our daughter her uncle. It's basically an apartment building so service was minimal but we didn't need it. There were a few maintenance issues in our room but the well equipped kitchen was nice to have. There's not much to do in the neighborhood but there are a few reasonably priced eateries and it's a short Uber/taxi from all the things to do/see. If you like to walk, it's a nice stroll through the botanic garden to the harbor area. There's a Big Bus (hop-on, hop-off service) stop a short walk away from the hotel.

The staff was fantastic and the location was pretty good. A bit of a walk to the Kings Cross metro station, but a nice walk to the Royal Gardens. The apartment itself was fine. A bit worn in places. The glazing on the bathroom mirror is showing age, the carpet is buckling in spots, and the floorboards are a bit banged up. Nothing major, but noticeable. The free breakfast offers a nice coffee machine and tea. The food options are limited to a few types of bread, four types of cereal, and some cheese and yogurt in the fridge.

The king bed was completely separate from the rest of the room which was awesome, with huge storage and hanging space in the mirrored wardrobes. Only down side was that one side of the bed had a really bad sag in it - mattress could definitely do with being replaced. Other than those small things the room was perfect - had a huge bathtub and the bathroom was also equipped with washer and dryer. Proximity to amenities was great and the little pub next door "The Frisco" was fabulous - highly recommend the all day yum cha menu. Oh and the View was spectacular - Harbour Bridge, Centrepoint Tower, and the Woolloomooloo harbour.

Loved our stay at Nesuto Woolloomooloo. Nice and close to the Navy base where we welcomed home our daughter after 4.5 months on deployment. Clean, Neat and comfortable, with a lot of good dining options nearby. Highly Recommend.

We have stayed several times at this hotel in the past (before Covid) as it is in a quiet area but close to the NSW Gallery and CBD, but this time were disappointed by the lack of cleanliness in the room, with thick dirt stains on the tables (brown stuff, just chocolate ice cream remnants hopefully?) that clearly had not been properly cleaned, light bulb not working, stains on the carpets and a pungent smell in the room, and finally coffee machine in breakfast room not working. We hope that the hotel improves the cleaning, as we would like to come back to the hotel in the future.

This is my third stay at Nesuto. The first two times were wonderful - I was upgraded on my first visit to a huge 3 bedroom apt because the studios were being painted. The second time I got a large studio in great condition with a fantastic view of the City at night. This time , however I had what looked like a neglected studio with the kitchen counter surface peeling off, no plug for either the kitchen sink or the bathroom basin( I did get one when I asked). When I mentioned on my first day that I could not connect to the internet even though I was connected to Nesuto ‘s guest server I was rudely told that no one else had complained so it must be because I had an IPhone ( the trainee sitting next to the receptionist was also unable to connect on her iPhone. ) No one offered to check the system. I had to rely on my Mobile Data and nearby cafes for Internet. I discovered that the unit I was in was currently for sale which might account for the huge decline in the quality and general condition of the unit. It’s a pity to see that management has allowed this situation. The owner obviously didn’t want to spend any money doing it up before selling . It’s a great location ( even though my Sydney friends warned me the area is dangerous at night). I never had any bad experiences even coming home late at night and it’s so convenient to everything.

The room was not clean, it was different then in the photos I had seen advertised. The carport had stains so did the lounge, the lino in the kitchen floor was missing a piece, the tiles in the bathroom were damaged when complained we were told there nothing they could do that it was an apartment not a hotel, staff were not helpful. The toilet didn't flush properly and made a terrible sound will not stay there again
