Location is the best part of the hotel, Reasonably comfortable and well located hotel but quite expensive compared to others.....the cost must be for the location. The property claims to be a premium facility but Food and Bars are ALL closed by 10:30pm on Friday and Sat night and staff appear amazed you want to sit in a bar and have a quiet drink before going to bed.....you cant get a drink after 10:30pm, When bar is open, staff in Bar area seem overly familiar and quite casual (but polite), no servers doing table service (except at 10:20pm when they tell all "last Drinks" and scurry away to focus on getting home. Not once did a server visit the table or offer to assist, ordering at the bar is difficult with no space to order and no payment area so getting a drink appears to be a privilege rather than why the bar is there...... Overall the staff thought out the dont not show the same service focused attitude as other hotels targeting similar clients with similar cost. Many areas of the hotel are "well worn" Carpeting on Stairs is threadbare, Tiles in bathroom are calcified and worn, vanity kits not replaced when room was made up, Spa and Pool facilities were worn and showing significant lack of attention (walls and windows covered in dried chlorine, water marks and chrome has rusting areas). The visit was OK but far from the experience expected and didnt have the value of the price charged. Wrong room was provided and we were left waiting 30 min to get the room booked...

My daughters and I had a night of “indulgence” during an overnight stay. Facilities were fantastic for not a lot more than your “run of the mill” cheaper hotels. Don’t forget your swimming costume, as the views from the rooftop/indoor pool are stunning. I don’t think we will ever go back to budget hotels again.

The hotel advertises itself as a five star hotel but I found the level of in-room amenities lacking, the hallway to the elevator had peeling wallpaper, and the pool was closed for the first day of our stay (this was one of the reasons I picked the hotel). Needs better management.

Our stay at the Sheraton (couple with a 6yo) was fantastic! Can’t wait to go back. Our highlight was the buffet breakfast. Huge variety, barista-made coffee, made to order omelette station, fresh juice… the list goes on! A very pleasant way to start the day. We also loved the pool and gym area, complete with sauna, spa bath and steam room. The room itself was spacious, clean and had a luxury feel. The Sheraton is a great option if you’re looking for a comfortable CBD stay with all the trimmings!

A comfortable hotel in a good location. Housekeeping standards left a little to be desired e.g. coffee not replenished, used towel removed but not replaced and one housekeeper entered the room without knocking. They need to address those issues.

Check in and avaiability of staff was slow and poor. The room make up was sub standard with bed not made, glasses removed and not replaced and coffee not replenished. The room was not fully as advertised. Gym and pool were good though. Definitely not a five star experience or service.

The team and service are great, the floor we stayed on smelt of wet carpet when we went into our room the carpet was slightly damp and the room smelt worse being small - I sprayed it as best I could but I would also note in the walkin wardrobe there is mould on the wall behind where the hanging area is so unsure where the smell was coming from but defiantly not what I expected for the price and name of the hotel, I also suffer from asthma so did not have a very restful sleep and woke with a respitory issue during the night - also need to note that there is no access to the hotel on a Sunday due to the ongoing protests we were essentially locked out from getting transport and at the last minute had to run to get an uber in melt down Sunday afternoon traffic it was really quite desperate. .

I booked a Hyde Park view room. We were able to get an upgrade but to a city side view room which was quite noisy and disappointing. Much prefer the Hyde Park view. Staff, facilities and position of this property is great. Having been staying at this property for over 10 years.

Good accommodation in ideal location, however the Park View Room with 1 King Bed that I paid for was indeed not a King Size Bed at all, but 2 Single Beds pushed together to make up a King Sized Bed & this was a little disappointing as the Single Beds that were pushed together where one of the Single Beds was a little higher than the other Single Bed that it was attached to & there was an uncomfortable BUMP where both of these singles mattresses joined & also one mattress was softer than the other mattress. A little disappointed considering it is a 5 Star Hotel & should have a proper King & Queen Size mattress in their rooms that are actually advertised as a King or Queen Size Bed

We arrived in Sydney on an early morning flight, exhausted, and went to the front desk just to leave our luggage. On a whim, I asked if an early check-in might be possible, and to my surprise they immediately arranged a room for us. It was such a big help. The hotel has excellent access from the airport, is convenient for sightseeing, and above all, the kind and attentive staff made our family trip truly enjoyable. A wonderfully thoughtful and welcoming hotel.

Thank you for your hospitality. Unfortunately, this was a very bad experience. When I checked in, your front desk staff did not follow the rules and accepted the customer who cut in line first, which was very unprofessional. I complained to the female manager at the time, but in the end, there was no feedback. I'm sorry, but I think it would be better to investigate internally whether there was such a movement, although the situation should have been understood by checking the CCTV recording. I'm not good at expressing myself in English, but in my 25 years of living in Japan, I have never seen such an unprofessional front desk staff, so this is a sad episode of my trip to Sydney. Please continue to provide customer service training and guidance to your staff.

Check in was a joke. Staff chatting etc while people unsure how to line up and some staff behind counter not acknowledging waiting guests. One man stared havtge computer while a lady waited 10 minutes before walking away. Why not acknowledge and direct her to another check in person ??? Just plain ignorance and poor customer service. This is not new. It’s been like this my last 3 stays.

The room and staff were fine but they incorrectly charged us for items we did not purchase which took over a week to be refunded and 16 days later we are still waiting for our $200 deposit charged on check in to be returned despite calls to the hotel and 3 emails.

The Sheraton used to be a great 5 star hotel but it's lost its gloss. The staff are very "slap dash". I left an item in the room but when I rang to see if it was possible to have it sent back to me, they were very unhelpful and couldn't have cared less.

I competed in the City2Surf run on the Sunday & chose the Sheraton for close proximity to the start as I am not from Sydney & not familiar with the surroundings. The hotel & my room were beautiful. I could not find any negatives. All the staff were so friendly & super helpful. My only complaint would be, that when I was checking in on Saturday afternoon, there was a long line of guests waiting to check in or check out & only two staff working at the reception. People were getting frustrated at the wait times. Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay & would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you

We had a perfect time. The location is in the city with close access to 2 train stations. You can walk to the ferry harbor. Walking to nearly all of the major museums is easy. Shopping areas are abundant locally. All of the employees greet you cordially and genuinely. They earn their 5-star status.

Excellent location across from Hyde Park and also located in main shopping precinct in CBD. Staff were friendly and helpful especially the gentleman at the entrance each time we needed taxi service. Highly recommended.

Good hotel but suffers from poor communication. Not enough information about the hotel's restauarants /cafe /bar etc in the room. No info at all anout breakfast, had to go down and ask, turns out they have a really good hot/cold buffet, but took two days before we knew about it. Poor communcation about pool facilities etc. The lower cafe was either not open or only open for high teas. Forza hotel of that size and standard certainly not enough dining options.

I particularly liked the breakfast with a view over the park. Unfortunately there was a function in the level 1 bar so we did not get our welcome drink after we checked in as it was too busy. And room service was very slow. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay
