This was my first time staying at Vibe, and I chose it because I really like the location near World Square and Hyde Park (with easy access to public transport and a Coles supermarket). I really enjoyed all the food and drinks we had from The Storehouse Restaurant & Bar (we had bar snacks, dinner and room service). The customer service we got from Harvey was exceptional - he is so friendly and helpful. The rooftop pool was bigger than I was expecting (previous guest photos don’t do it justice - it’s a great space & the pool is lovely early morning and evening on hot summer days). The gym is a lot bigger than many hotel gyms. There were always plenty of pool/gym towels available which is not always the case at hotels. I was pleased with my room size and amenities, and the reception staff were always helpful. I found the room servicing a bit patchy, but I find that in almost every hotel these days (they don’t seem to ‘clean’ the bathroom or vacuum any more - rather they just drop off fresh towels and make the bed). The weirdest thing that happened was I asked for an extra roll of toilet paper, which arrived promptly, then the next morning the cleaner took it away again! And two of the nine days I didn’t get a handtowel or bathmat. So the room servicing is an area for improvement. But I would still stay here again - as overall experience was positive.

Very well priced option for central Sydney location close to museum station corner Eliz and Goulburn streets. Gym, cafe and wine bar, very well priced city parking just across the road. Hotel allowed me to change dates past cancellation free period and Wotif was really helpful in facilitating this.

Great hotel but parking across the road in the secure parking was too much of an inconvenience. Took an hour to find parking, after they told me over the phone there is always parking in there. This was not the case and it was stressful. I would not book again due to no convenient parking on the premises.

We requested a one hour late check out after a 3 night $1000 stay and were told it would be $30 per hour. The staff would not even consider that it might be a good idea to allow a complementary late checkout to drive repeat business - they just dismissed the request. I’ve stayed here frequently for work but won’t again - if i was a manager I’d be focused on retention rather than a $30 late checkout fee. Very short sighted. The pool area was occupied all afternoon by a couple who were smoking and didn’t seem to care that it was a non smoking hotel or that kids wanted a swim - nobody moved them on. The sauna was non operational. The bathroom had mould. Overall not great value for the price. Good central location though.

Do not pay for parking through the property if staying over the weekend. Parking was $45 if paid direct but if paid via the hotel they charge $78. They also would not provide 1hr late check out, without fee of $30. Check in staff was not friendly and seemed annoyed when I asked about the stairs to level 9 as the lift stops at level 8. Bathroom was moldy, and carpets had stains and rips. The furniture in the sitting area near reception is worn out. The only benefit is the room configuration is suitable for families, (king and 2 single beds) which is rare in Sydney CBD.

Our room was really nice and spacious. The location of the hotel is excellent, as is the lobby area. We needed a refund on the breakfast for the remainder of our stay as it wasn’t very good at all. Housekeeping could be better, it seemed they just made the bed and replaced a couple of things but didn’t actually clean (bathroom remained dirty throughout the stay) and didn’t always restock teas/coffees. Had lunch at the storehouse and found it unnecessarily difficult and restrictive.

Rooms weren’t clean. Surfaces were dusty and there was mould in the bathroom coming from the tap. The breakfast was pretty bad, especially for the price. Limited and poor menu, very basic quality — like school camp food. Asking for anything to be brought up to the room (amenities etc took forever and I often had to go down to get it in the end).

Very nice property modern finishes and amenities. However, it was not the cleanest. Our bathroom had mold under the rim of the sink, the tub had some sort of residue in two spots and the toilet didn’t Flush properly when we checked in. Two days later, the daily housekeeping consisted of made beds and that’s it. No clean towels, no vacuuming, no bathroom cleaning ( so the aforementioned issues continued).

Pros Staff were excellent, professional and polite. Room service was easy to order food was reasonably priced and food was great of what we ordered. Location is fantastic close to train station and restaurants Cons Bed was not made properly fell through the middle as mattress protectors was on one single bed only, I was travelling with partner we had to remake the bed. No microwave No mini bar Very noisey traffic noise was horrendous No blankets provided had to call down to reception to get them brought up promptly. Small duvet on bed did not cover both beds and was really thin. Bath room is tiny and door hits against toilet Little to no water pressure in shower bath area No streaming services available Room is overall dated and needs a refurbishment Room was not worth 300 plus dollars a night.

Staff were excellent. The water pressure in the shower was terrible. The shower had a dual head where the overhead worked but the handheld did not. The bed was uncomfortable which was two singles joined together and started to pull apart.

The room was HUGE, it was a nice surprise to not be in a small room. The king bed was comfortable and there was a large lounge next to it. The wardrobe set up was walk in style next to the bathroom. Breakfast had a decent amount of options and good coffee (from a machine). Location is 10mins from a variety of public transport options: light rail, metro and train.

The good: the location for work was fantastic, and the room sizes are really generous, which is great for couples travelling and having a bit of space. The bad: the showers here are TERRIBLE. Seriously the worst hotel shower I've ever stayed at. Super low pressure, basically a trickle of water. Nothing that will wake you up. The two rooms we booked were both reasonably clean, but a bit of water rust around the sprinklers and mould on the ceiling.

Early check in was available. When we ordered breakfast online, the option to pay in person or charge to room was available. We opted for pay in person & it was still charged to the room, the staff had no idea that you could pay in person. When we checked out the staff member just said how much we owed, didn't explain about the in room dining and why it was charged to the room & also didn't go through what rhe charges were, just said the price. The lack of communication with the staff on was quiet disappointing.

Vibe is one of my favourite hotels in Sydney. Location is quiet but you can be in Pitt & George St in minutes Museum station is also short walk, making getting to the Harbour very quick. The size of the bathroom is more than decent for a hotel bathroom and plenty of room to shower and change and leave all your toiletries in. The staff are also lovely and accommodating.

Hotel was in a great location, close to transport and a walk to Darling Harbour. Rooms were nice thought the sofa was very worn and the TV channels didn’t change easily. Beds were comfy and had nice bathroom with lovely amenities. We had a La carte breakfast on our morning in their restaurant and the service was average as they were understaffed. The pancakes were terrible and coffee not great. We didn’t eat there again. Overall it was a good stay and value for money.

Old hotel has been upgraded to a modern style. good sized rooms and an actual desk, but showers are over old baths, the room service menu is decent quality and price but very limited with no desert options etc

Stayed 1 night. Staff were lovely. Facilities were really good. Great rooftop to meet our friends also staying in the building. Bar and restaurant in the foyer. Only had a drink. Literally 5 minute walk from Central Station. Construction work right next door at the moment, so am early start with some noise. Shower water pressure is terrible. Overall a very good option and right for the price. Bottle of wine on arrival through Expedia.

Restaurant and breakfast were excellent. Room was very different to picture used for booking; significantly smaller and not as well furnished. This is the second this has happened through wotif, so probably won't use again. Bed linen was very ordinary. 1st duvet was ripped, asked for a replacement which had blood stains! Liked everything else about the hotel.
