Conveniently located to to the airport and 20 minute ride to downtown. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and the hotel restaurant had one of the best breakfast buffets I’ve seen in a while. The only drawback with that hotel is the subterranean parking which is like a maze. It took us 10 minutes to find our car every time we wanted to leave.

I have stayed here many times and it's a nice airport hotel. Very disappointed the pool was not accessible for our entire stay. Also the fact the hotel now charges the ridiculous amount of 24.00 per person to transfer you from the airport to the hotel and return. For our family that was 72.00 for literally a 3-4 minute ride. This used to be complimentary. Then I guess that's Sydney - it's very expensive.

The only problem is when I first arrive they asked for my credit card and I couldn’t understand the girl but she said something about $200 so when I checked out I’ve just looked at my bank statement and they’ve taken $200 off and I don’t know why I’ve tried to ring them four times but they’re not answering. . Hopefully you might be able to explain to me what $200 is for.

My room wasn't serviced on either of the days that we were there, which I think is very poor form. Arriving back late on Sunday evening to find the towels, bed as I had left it, not a great look. The room wasn't clean, there was another persons hair left in the basin and bath/shower. Not sure when it was last cleaned properly. I didn't complain when checking out as I had clients with me. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone after that experience.

Loved the option of room package which included breakfast, parking and wine. The buffet breakfast was delicious with a good variety of choices. Breakfast was served in the restaurant which had a fun artwork across the wall. Unfortunately, many of the plates and cups at breakfast were dirty. We were disappointed to arrive, having notified them in advance of our milestone wedding anniversary, to find that they had done nothing for it and seemed unaware despite a note in the special request of the booking. The room was spacious but older. Despite a booking for 4 people, the room only contained 5 pillows, although they sent more on request. The location was convenient to the airport and the on-site parking was helpful. Overall, it was a convenient stay but we would probably try a different hotel next time.

It is nightmare to get to the carpark and hotel is outdate and old. The exhaust fan is very dirty and not really a clean place to live. However,the front staff was professional.

Everything was great except the guest in the room next door. There was a connecting door & unfortunately it affected sound proofi g so when tbe guest played music/the tv at approx 3am it woke me up, & kept me awake for sone time. The Stamford is as advertised - an airport hotel. The room was spacious but rather dated, unfortunately the TV did not properly work. It is certainly convenient to the Domestic Terminal! Check in was slow and staff insisted on taking a $100 deposit, despite the fact we had already eaten and there is no minibar in room - which seems like a shameless moneymaking tactic on a 1 night stay.

I thought i had an amazing checkin, until I got a rude call at 11.40am. No hello, just "checkout was 11". I replied, sorry but I have checkout at 2pm. I have paid an extra $30 per hour for a late checkout, due to my evening flight. No sorry, nothing. Just, it wasnt on the notes. She hung up. No need for rudeness. I have stayed at this hotel maybe 40 times. I personally choose to stay here usually. Great rooms, usually fabulous service. Just someone today having a bad day.

We have stayed here many times and always enjoyed it however this time around it was lacking particularly in the staff and service area. We used to look forward to visiting the restaurant however this time the service was poor. The reception staff were also not fantastic. Organising a late checkout and then having to return to reception twice - once because key had expired and a second time when the replacement key was not coded correctly was a low light. Convenient but sadly not up to its old standard

Check in Staff was good. However, the training staff for my check out needs more training on how to actually do customer service. Seemed a little bother less. Just as we are told that a $100 authorisation payment is required, we should also be informed when checking out that this will be refunded to us. It’s just common courtesy really. And shows that you are willing to do the basics of your job.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Stamford Plaza Sydney Airport, and unfortunately, it did not meet even basic expectations—let alone those of a 5-star hotel. To start with, parking was clearly included in my booking. When I arrived, I confirmed this with the front desk staff, and they assured me that parking was covered. They provided me with a validated ticket to enter and exit the parking facility. However, after my stay, I was unexpectedly charged for parking without any prior notice or explanation. Worse still, no receipt or documentation of this charge was provided. This felt dishonest and completely unprofessional. In addition to this, the room itself lacked basic amenities expected from a hotel of this standard. There was no functioning entertainment system. The television in my room was not connected, and when I contacted reception, I was told they were “updating the system.” A staff member was sent to my room but had no idea what was going on—he seemed completely untrained and uninformed. It was clear there was a lack of communication within the team. Overall, this experience was well below standard and incredibly frustrating. From poor communication and unexpected charges to basic amenities not being available, this hotel fell short on multiple levels. I would not recommend it based on my experience.

I was very grateful to the hotel for their hospitality when my flight was cancelled and I had to get last minute accommodation and spend almost 24 hours waiting for another flight. Use of their courtesy lounge was great. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Convenient location to airport for next day flight. Shuttle available but you could walk to domestic in 10 mins. Room was quiet and clean. I checked in very late but check in was fast. Booked return shuttle at time of check in. Only comment would be shuttle at night took a longer time to come than on time table due to short staffing with contractor, but fee of $55 taxi was quotin to take a short distance seemed like a scam

This is a great hotel to stay at if you need to stop over in Sydney between flights, either domestic or international or combo of. We walked from Terminal 3 to the hotel which took about 10 minutes, and got a cab to Terminal 1 in the morning for an intl flight. On site facilities are also good.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the airport and rental car pick-up. With that being said, if you do not have a car, there is nothing to do in the area. There was a small grocery store and cafe in walking distance. Otherwise, you would have to drive or walk at least a mile to get some food other than eating at the hotel. It’s 26AUD for an Uber to downtown Sydney if you want to shop or see anything worthwhile. The hotel was clean and nice.

Excellent location close to the airport and local train station for travelling into Sydney. Excellent service and very friendly staff. Good breakfast choices but be aware that the restaurant and bar close in the evening at 9.30pm. Rooms are spacious, with comfortable beds and a good selection of toiletries. The shuttle bus to the airport is quick and good value.

Awkward to get too if you arrive at the airport with baggage and asked to get to the courtesy bus (takes 15 minutes if you walk) which doesn’t get there regularly. We waited for 45 minutes (cold wet and windy) and ended to take the track walking to the hotel. It took us 10 minutes. The room was rather large, but on the cold side even with the air conditioning turned up to 27. The eateries are good, but the hotel is isolated.
