The Grace Hotel

Pictures don’t look anything like the room. Limited hot water, I had 3 cold showers.

Shame the pool was closed but the rest was wonderful

We had a wonderful stay at The Grace Hotel and wished we booked it from the start. The lobby has a charming historical feel, but the rooms are very modern, spacious, and beautifully done. The kind of hotel room you actually want to stay in and enjoy, not just sleep in. Everything felt bright, clean, and well-maintained. The free minibar (refreshed daily) was a really nice touch. We chose a quiet room so the view was just okay, but the peace and quiet were worth it. Service was excellent. Concierge Mahe was especially helpful in showing us the room so we could decide whether to move from our previous hotel. Matt at concierge was also great, and the front desk staff were consistently friendly and pleasant. Love the location. Neighborhood is quiet and lovely to walk around in, with great breakfast spots nearby. It’s also within short walking distance to Martin Place, Circular Quay, shopping areas, and Darling Harbour. Only area for improvement: The pool, gym, and patio area feel quite cramped and dated and don’t match the otherwise premium feel of the hotel. I was planning to use the pool and sauna but changed my mind after seeing the space. Overall: A beautiful, comfortable stay with excellent service and location. Would definitely come back.
