The overall experience here was great. Good facilities and amenities. The breakfast was great with a good selection to choose from. A small gym but functional and pool to use. In the room it was spacious and well presented. Only concern I had was one staff member was a bit rude and brief when dealing with them. All other staff were fantastic and helpful. I would stay again.

Staff were very accommodating. I requested an early check in and this was met. Only downside of my stay is the facilities at the hotel. Pool was dirty, spa not working and generally, the hotel was run down and in need of repairs.

A pleasant stay, and a very excellent breakfast. It was a bit disappointing that the bar closed quite early. The parking is also limited and costs extra. The room doors banged very loudly as other guests entered their rooms and this interrupted our sleep. If they are unable to install quieter doors, they could put reminder signs so that people consider other guests.

There is no parking. We had to pay for parking. Novotel has a good name all over the world , don’t expect that there would be paid parking in their premises and we have paid $299 for a room.

An old outdated building in a good location with staff who are trying their best. I have stayed at two Novotel hotels in Sydney in the past 12 months and both have been disappointing in similar ways. The rooms at this hotel were boring and old. Bathrooms very small. We tried the pool and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks. Only positives were the beds were comfy and it was in a good location close to the main dining area in Parramatta. Will look at a different option the next time I stay in this area.

Our door to the bathroom wouldnt close. The shower floods outside of the bath and on to the floor near the toilet. The air-conditioning works better outside of the room then inside. The pool is so dated and has pieces falling off and the spa is out of order. Places well for dining options and the football stadium but very much in need of an upgrade

I booked this hotel thinking it was Novotel and having stayed many times at Novotel hotels, I expected a clean and nice hotel room. Unfortunately what we got was a room that was surface cleaned, the bathroom was disgusting, the shower was dirty, the light switches had black dirt and grease so deeply embedded in the switches it was just gross. After flying back into Sydney from Hawaii on Friday, I booked this hotel for my husband and sons as they were coming to pick me up and we had a family birthday that night and were heading back to qld the folllowing day. On arriving to the hotel on Friday I was so disgusted that I refused to stay in such filth so we check out a night early and ended up driving back to qld that night. The room had a view of a green pool and unkept back area. The staff at reception didn’t seem interested in our reasoning for leaving when we checked out at 5pm that night. We paid just under 1000 for 3 nights at this hotel and it was absolutely disgusting. Novatel has definitely let their standards drop here. I will be definitely reconsidering staying at any Novotel anywhere in the world in future. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel.

(1) The carpet looks grungy and ready to be replaced. (2) Our room was not cleaned on March 1 even though we put the flag out for room cleaning when we left the hotel room at 10 AM. We did not return to our room until 8:30 that evening. (3) we ran out of wash/body gel on 2/27.

Check-in was not smooth, the fob did not work and I had to come down again to get access to the room. Another guest told me they had the same experience. Room service interrupted my sleep. Room was cramped and poor quality, the shower gel in the shower was empty and not re filled. The towels smelled like Asian food, didn’t use them, they were not fresh. Room was dusty. Overall, poor quality for the price. Unexpected.

1) Poor service ( rubbish was left on the floor after cleaning ; shampoo and liquid soap not refilled) 2) Old and worn-out facilities ( the phone in the room is not connected and there is no way to communicate with the front desk staff unless you really walk to the front desk ; no bedside reading lamps; poor lighting ) 3) But the location and environment outside are excellent ! What a pity!

Staff excellent, Room ok, odd Aircon blasted hot air into the room for 30 mins at 8am. Bathroom not good, chipped sink rim, lot's of mould in the shower, cleaning product residue in all corner's of the bathroom, lot's of flaking paint, so not world class. Trip hazard on entering the bathroom.

I stayed at this hotel recently and while the room itself was clean and comfortable, I was very frustrated that I couldn’t control my own air conditioning. The system seemed locked, and despite trying to adjust it, the temperature stayed the same. For me, having control over the room climate is an important part of comfort when staying in a hotel, and not being able to do so made the stay less enjoyable. On the positive side, staff were polite and the facilities were otherwise fine, but I would strongly recommend the hotel allow guests to adjust their own room temperature—it makes a big difference.

This old girl has seen better days. Staff were lovey and the bed was comfortable. That’s about the only positives I have. The air conditioner didn’t get cooler than 25 and the tv (not a smart tv) had free to air tv reception issues. Very loud inside and out with the door seemingly made of paper. All the doors slam in the hotel which was great for an early wake up from our neighbours. For the price we paid for a night, we feel cheated! Won’t stay here again.

Shower leaked on the floor every time you had a shower it seemed that the screen had broken away from the bathtub. View was horrible with Jason to an old building next door. Neighbours was very noisy next door we could hear every word that wa spoken, would not stay again

Our stay was for one night only and we both had the best sleep for ages in the king sized bed, The room was very clean, a small lounge was provided plus two comfortable chairs. The bathroom was a tad dated, but it did have a bath which is not usually found in this type of accommodation. Our room had no street noise, the staff were friendly and there was plenty of easily accessible parking. Dining options/breakfast looked great. We’d stay here again.

Staff members are nice. Room is clean but a little dimmer than I expected. Good time staying at the hotel. Great breakfast buffet. The only complain is the noise from next door (both side) is very audible. I can totally hear someone talking over phone at 11pm while trying to sleep.

The staff - especially at front desk, have been the absolute best to deal with, Very polite and clearly communicated really well, when there was an issue with one of my 7 rooms, they explained thoroughly, I was offered an upgrade and they found a solution. My group were extremely happy, I have extended an additional 4 days to the stay. Thank you very much to JP and the team.

Great place to stay when you have an event at CommBank stadium. The parking is limited, however there are two other 24hr car parks all within short walking distance. The staff are polite, professional and friendly, though appeared to be short staffed at times and the manager run off his feet. There’s great restaurants within walking distance and Westfield is close by also. The room was clean and beds were comfortable.

Terrible management. Rude receptionist over phone. Seen manager to advise receptionist to ignore incoming calls. No wifi. Tv channels only few. No water. Tadvised to drink tap water which is highly chlorinated. Cannot use the katle to make tea which has strong smells chlorine. Will not go to this Novotel anymore.

Great location to trains, restaurants and shops.very friendly staff I have stayed here a few times. This time the room was a but average. The bathroom door would not shut properly. The room just needed some love (staff entered room whilst I was in shower which was uncomfortable)

Love the location and convenience of Novotel Parramatta. However, needs updating as it’s very old hotel. It’s also too pricy for the condition rooms are in. The parking is extremely expensive and there are no discounts for hotel guests, which is disappointing.

The room did not match the photos advertised online. I raised my concerns with staff upon arrival, but unfortunately my wife and I were told that nothing could be done. The bar fridge didn’t work, the TV was very old with a poor-quality picture, and the amenities were not well maintained. There also appeared to be minimal staff on duty. On a positive note, the barman was excellent. However, the coffee was disappointing and really needs a trained barista. Room service was unreliable, and so was the parking. Overall, the fit-out is old and tired, and the experience did not feel worth the price. The food itself was fine, but it was significantly overpriced for what was offered. Unfortunately, I would not recommend staying here based on this experience.
