Nice hotel in central Sydney, close to station for the airport and to the Rocks area and the cruise ship terminal. Very good buffet breakfast included in the price with good choice of hot and cold items. Plenty of eating and drinking options within easy walking distance. Good sized room and bathroom - would stay here again, though prices in the bar are scandalous.

So central to everything, we left the car at the Domain car park, 10 min walk to the Paradox, freshen up, head out for drinks at the Opera Bar, had a chant with Hare Krishnas on George Street, drinks at Tank Stream and dinner at Mr Wong. We were up early for a Spa, steam room and Pool, checked out, dropped our bags back at the car and went to Botanical Gardens for breakfast. So much to do. Staff and service were great at the Paradox!

Excellent Stay at the Paradox despite the change from Radisson Blue. Staff and premises are fantastic, exactly as before. Pool and Health Suite facilities are perfect after a long flight. Hotel is a less than a 10 minute walk Wynyard from Circular Quay making perfect for transport options.

The room was a good size as was the bed which was also very comfortable. The bathroom was excellent and good air con plus I liked the swimming pool. The only areas to improve is the hopeless TV (poor sound and channel choice) and more toiletries. The food was better this time but i prefer to eat out.

The only downside to this stay was they have no parking. Unless you want to get up at 6 am to move your car each day, you are forced to pay a daily valet service. It ended up being a chunk of money we didn’t budget into our trip.

Staff from arrival to departure were excellent throughout. Food and beverage in bar were also excellent. Rooms were very spacious and kept clean and serviced daily. Hotel location is excellent but only 4 as area around hotel has major building works ongoing. Not the hotels fault but still there.

Very old property that could do with some sprucing up. Check in was very easy and good central location for exploring. Room was small, very basic amenities, and not the cleanest (toilet bowl on the outside had brown streaks upon checkin) . The heat didn’t work unless you put it to 26 degrees and we faced major construction.

The room was nice but the bathroom was quite dated and in need of an update( taps leaked, broken tiles etc) The pool area and gym is in desperate need of an update. Small things like providing amenities for 4 people instead of 2 were missed. The staff were welcoming and accommodating. The location is very convinient with ample food options nearby and easy walking distance to barangaroo and circular quay.

Very nice older hotel located about a 20 min walk from Circular Quay and the Docklands. The room was large, very clean and comfortable. What would have been a five star rated is lowered only by something out of their control, A new Train station is being built across the street and there is banging day and night.

Very well located. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Lighting could be better, especially not much natural light comes in due to surrounding buildings. Air conditioning was warm when we first arrived but one call to front desk and it was resolved quickly. Hotel doesn’t offer any views but the location close to Circular Quay, Pitt Street Mall and surrounding restaurants and cafes more than make up for it.

I enjoyed my 2 night stay here, however, at check-in I was advised that my room was upgraded. During the past decade, I have stayed here many times and am well aware of the standards of the various rooms. Room 919 was certainly not an upgrade, with mould, rust marks and marks on the marble, tiles and carpet. 😕 Not impressed!

This is a top class hotel conveniently located in the city. Our room was extremely clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The towels felt amazing. The service was excellent. The hotel is wheelchair friendly. The hotel has a bar to relax at downstairs near the foyer. And it has a superb restaurant. The hotel is located inside the former home of the oldest newspaper in Sydney. The hotel is one block from Wynyard railway station and the light rail service. And it’s several blocks south of popular ferry wharfs at Circular Quay. A new metro rail station will soon be opening across the road from the hotel, and it will offer easy access the fish market, Sydney Olympic Park and Parramatta. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. The staff were all so welcoming friendly and helpful. The hotel was so clean and tidy. The food was amazing. The room was spacious comfortable had everything you needed. The area the hotel was located was handy to everything short walk to Botanical gardens, Opera House, Circular Quay, tram stops shops bars restaurants. Will definitely stay here next time we visit. Loved it.

There was no hot water and the water pressure was literally a slow trickle. I took a shower in cold, trickling water. It took them 30 mins to fix it, but by then I was late for my meeting so had to take a freezing shower. I give credit as the staff tried to rectify after it was fixed, but the way they handled the problem at hand was not very professional.

Great location. My room was moved from outside facing to an inside room very graciously. Thank you Reception staff. The room had the best Aircon I’ve ever used in any hotel, easy to use and very responsive. I had a streaming connection issue which was resolved quickly and in a friendly way. The bed and pillows are super comfy. This was my second stay when coming to Sydney and I will come back.

Great hotel…great location, nice big rooms. Was not happy with my original assigned room as it was right smack facing a huge comstruction going on. Voiced my concern. The front desk lady listened to my concern, was compassionate & promptly gave me another room. It was on the 10th floor, huge & def an upgrade. Huge bed & a nice large bathroom. Housekeeping was excellent, meticulous about the welcome fruits & sparkling water right after i moved into the room & made up the room beautifully the next day. Overall great hotel, great stay. Would highly recommend, although this is no longer Radisson Blu & this was my 1st stay at a Paradox hotel.

Team were always polite, welcoming and friendly. Hotel is in a great location and right near public transport. Stayed for a conference nearby so did not get to try out everything, but breakfast was good. Thanks for a great stay!

Amazing location to stay. Opera house and harbor is within 5-10 minutes walking distance. Sydney tower is within 5 minutes walking. Luxury shops and dining areas all within 5 minutes of walking distance. Train stations located on each side of the hotel within two minutes. The hotel staff extremely friendly and attentive to the guest. They are very accommodating to any requests the guest might have. The cleanliness is superb and the environment is very peaceful and relaxing. A must stay property if you are looking for a peaceful, relax experience.

Location is good, just walk around 10 minutes from circular quay train station,as there is an airport train.Room size is comfortable big, checked in on 13:30 they told me room is ready, That is wonderful, I can drop my luggage in room , start my traveling immediately. Happy day!

Disappointed in the food served in-house. Overly salty, lacked flavour and didn't taste fresh. Pasta sauce tasted and looked like it had come from a jar. Vegan risotto too salty and flavour less. Tasted like the chef had used stock cubes and frozen peas. We were pleased that the room temp was cooler than in the past. Nice for sleeping.

Great property. Perfect location downtown. Staff is very friendly and welcoming! Stayed twice and would be back again. Warm salt water pool, hot tub and a steam room - add to a great experience. Breakfast buffet was excellent. 5 stars!

The facilities were very nice and the location was great; just a 10 min walk from the Circle Quay ferries and 5 more minutes to the Opera House. Plenty of convenience stores and dining and shopping nearby. What really set it apart was the friendliness of the staff. Absolutely EVERYONE we interacted with during our 3-day stay was friendly and helpful. It was the best hotel service I've gotten in a while. And the breakfast buffet was very nice.

The hotel is really nice, great room (I really did enjoy the room) and a good location. Have been here twice now, absolutely enjoy it and I am sure I will be back again. The hotel is not so big and I like that. 2 things could be approved significant. Had lunch in the bar the day of departure - food didn't taste of anything at all. The breakfast is nice, but there is only one single coffee machine to share and you need to stand in line for quite some time. Don't understand why a second coffee machine is not put in, that would help a lot. You can order a coffee pot but of some reason it takes a long time to get served. The second morning they forgot me and I went to stand in line for the coffee machine instead. Easy to improve if you ask me, don't understand why it hasn't been done already.

We did not have the breakfast at the Paradox. We did, however, have dinner downstairs at the Fax. It was excellent and deserves the highest marks for flavor, service, quality, and presentation. The Business suite dining area on the 10th floor was also excellent
