Good staff. When we booked late in on visit non refundable it says on the website that the pool is open until march 2026. After we have paid we’ve got a message that the pool was closed due to renovation..and we could not cancel..

It was disappointed to find out once at the property there was no pool no spa and no sauna access due to works being done on the outside of the building. August - December no access guests should be notified about the inconvenience specifically as I stayed on the weekend of the Sydney Marathon. You pay a lot of money for a great hotel and for the hotel not to provide these services was really disappointing and frustrating.

Room was dated and noisy. Balcony door was locked due to window cleaning which happens several months each year. Parking ($58pn) was very limited and designed for small cars. I had to seek assistance from Reception to access the carpark and then find a car space. Only positive was the staff member who accompanied me to the carpark and assisted with finding car space - thank you

You sent me an email about this hotel reservation indicating they will be under construction and repairing things and for that reason the Pool and the hot tub will be close. I decided to cancel but you sent me another message when you mentioned that the construction and repairing it was postponed for later in September. The thing is when I asked in the front desk about the hot tub they told me that those facilities were close due the work at that moment. I showed her the E mail you sent me that indicated otherwise and she told me how sorry she was for what it was happening and she took a picture y said she would report it the situation to the manager. Never he contacted us. The worst it was the Saturday 29th when we came back for the all day excursion and we entered to our room we found a open condom on the nightstand next to our bed. Immediately I went to reception desk and letting know what we found …that it was inaceptable…who was in our room having sex during we were out…? The guy it was speechless…he told me the only thing he can do at the moment is given us a new clean room and breakfast free and he will going to inform the manager and for sure he will be contact us, never happened even I asked for him on Monday, he just told the receptionist, he was working on it, This situation it is Unbelievable never happened a such a thing to us in any hotel and we are travelers, let’s ASAP what you are going to do or we are going to proceed a legal case.

A 3pm check in is not good.. Hotel is OK.. Not super clean.. But the gym is terrible.. Machines not working.. No real dumbbells.. Rubbish.. It needs a complete re think

Originally there was a faulty shower screen that we couldn't open but it was fixed promptly once the issue was raised. The location was fantastic and the swimming pool & sauna were clean and enjoyable.

Great 1-bed unit with living, dining, kitchen and separate bedroom at a good price, fantastic location with fabulous views! Very friendly and welcoming staff, nice lobby and quaint (heated) pool & spa with separate sauna. Only challenging aspect of our stay would be the very limited 'available' parking and the odd/obscure entry thereto. Otherwise a 10-out-of-10 for us. We would most definitely stay here again and actually plan to the next time we need to stay in Sydney CBD.

Good property in an excellent location. Be aware that it is loud overnight in terms of city traffic, car horns, and general public noise/shouting. Poor communication from front desk staff around parking arrangements in carpark led to a lot of wasted time and unnecessary stress. Also we were unable to login to the wifi and troubleshooting from calling reception was unsuccessful. Also note they charge an extra $100 “deposit”, which is not actually refunded!

Dirty room. Stinky room. Trash found in cupboard and never cleaned. Soap ran out but never refilled. Already asked staff to handle but did not help even on the last day of our stay. Staff unhelpful in general. Told the trainee staff our issue but she could not help, so had to seek advice from manager. But when manager comes, the trainee staff just stood there and expect us to explain everything again. She could have talked to manager about the situation, why expect the customers to deliver the message again. we asked if we could have some take away breakfast since we had to catch a coach for skydiving early in the morning at 0630.The hotel manager insisted that nothing can be done, it's outsourced so limited options. We kept persuading and he finally agreed to try calling the restaurant for a packed breakfast. We expect him to help us without the need to persuade！why make our life so difficult ？

Reception staff were not at the desk all four times I went through on the first night, luckily someone heard me call out as no international calling. No idea where the restaurant is or room service menu so I ate out. The pool, spa and sauna are all unable to be used as being updated, my balcony was also locked off so unable to be used. My bedroom TV wasn't plugged into the antenna and when discovering this and connecting it myself I found a previous guests sock and alot of dust. The only positive was the bed was comfy and housekeeping staff were lovely. I told reception at check out I didn't enjoy my stay, won't recommend or stay again and he said he would pass that on to the Manager - they clearly don't care as I checked out 2 weeks ago and no one reached out.

The description did not include the pool was closed ! The Manager was dismissive and blamed Expedia not giving the correct information, openly told us that he can’t help on price as the city was busy and we would not find another room so refused to discuss. We got to our room and immediately was hit with a wall of odour, the carpet smelled, the couches smelled of BO. The room was dirty, ratty. I found $4 1/2 drank bottle of water that I had to report to the front desk so as not to be charged. The street noise was insane, it was as if the windows were all wide open 24/7! The bathroom had mold on all the grout with every nook and cranny showing mold and dirt! I would recommend you stay away from this run down smelly hotel !

The place was perfect for inner City with washing machine and dryer. Large apartment type living. Just needs a coat Of paint to refresh. A more creamy coloured paint which made it feel dark. Cleaning was excellent and bed was comfortable. It’s everything you need - just felt dated

Excellent nightly rate and close to The Rocks and Pitt Street. Apartment style suite with two TVs with Foxtel. But the windows were not double glazed and the noise from the traffic on the street below was unreal!! We bought earplugs to stiffle the noise at night.

Room was huge with a very comfortable lounge. Comfortable bed but pillows were too soft for me. Lovely view to Luna Park. Great location close to transport and cafes. One of our kitchen cupboard doors was broken which was fixed. My wire drawer unit was broken and wasn’t fixed. Someone needs to check the room before it’s occupied.

My room was not ready by 2pm, several people were not able to check in either at 2pm Despite being at the hotel early I was not given any access to the hotel pool or amenities waiting for my room to be ready It was a hot day and there is no water available in the lobby area for guests There did not appear to be any air conditioning in the lobby area, it was hot and stuffy The room needed some repairs and update, the balcony door did not close and seal properly, the bathroom has broken tiles

The staff were not not overly helpful, especially the lady at reception. Breakfast was away from the hotel and not accessible for a wheelchair (I broke my leg). They confirmed it was wheelchair friendly and should have notified us when they saw breakfast was included in our package. No help to resolve the issue!! Poor effort won't be back

Pool was been renovated and staff mentioned a nearby pool on phone but in person did not know how to give directions. My daughter got stuck in the lift and it would not open. There was nobody at reception every time we called ( on arrival; to open carpark access door & to ask questions).

Staff on the ball checking in. At the time no one around . When leaving a few days later reception was very busy. Staff up to the challenge, I was near end of line and out the door in minutes. No problems 😊

The hotel room was very comfortable and well presented. An apartment style with a very handy lkitchen and lovely city views. The location was close to all transport especially Wynyard station with its direct connection to the airport. We would certainly recommend it to others and return again in the future

this is our second time at the york on York and is now our go to in Sydney, the Accomodation was spacious, clean, with Balcony access, and close to everything. Whilst we booked ( again) as a package, we will look to see next time that York on York is part of our booking

We arrived 7:30 am after a long flight from the USA and the hotel had a room ready for us. Great little efficiency apartment with a washer dryer and other appliances. Delicious buffet breakfast included at a nearby hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

The room is equipped with a washing machine and a dryer, and a small kitchen with a normal size fridge. The location is very convenient in all respects, transportation to the airport, dining, shopping and sightseeing. Breakfast is provided in the nearby Amora Hotel. I certainly will book it again on my next visit.

Pour ce deuxième sejour consecutif, nous avons été surclassé dans un grand appartement de 110 m2 au 26ème etage, superbe. Nous avons profité de la petite salle de gym et du sauna. Pour le petit-déjeuner, il faut se deplacer dans un à l ́hotel Amora, à 5mn à pied. Bien mais pas digne d’un 5 etoile.

The hotel has old furnishings. Currently it is supposed to take a year to repair the pool and we did not have access to our balcony because which would have been nice to eat outside. Our other family’s room was the kind of room and a little nicer. They could eat on their balcony. Kind of thought we should not be charged as much because we were not provided the same amenities. It was nice to have a kitchenette and washer and dryer in the room. It is a good location because it is right near a train station. I would probably stay here again because of convenience. Did not feel breakfast was worth $38.00 extra so we did not ask for that. Staff were kind.

The location was great but the room/unit desperately needs a renovation. Chipped titles in the bathroom, warped doors in the kitchen. It needs a total revamp. We had breakfast included and we had to get a voucher for the hotel (Amour) across the road. That hotel was in better condition. Doubt I would stay again.

The washer and dryer in the room were essential for our family trip mid week. The load sizes are European and cycles are longer than US models, but they did a great job and were relatively quiet. We were easy walking distance to the quay for activities and dining. The booked breakfast option is associated with the sister hotel in the next block, which worked out great. There is also a kitchenette and a family room with separate parent bedroom which we liked very much. The front desk staff are not as knowledge as with higher end hotels. We had to ask for enough towels and toilet paper to serve the family as it was only stocked for 2. They did provide the needed extra bed and there is a hideaway in the couch for sleeping. We would stay again for the convenience and quality.

Günstig gelegen in Bezug auf George Street und Circular Quay. U-Bahn Station eine Straße weiter, Darling Harbour 8 Minuten zu Fuß. Appartement sehr geräumig mit allem was man auch für einen längeren Aufenthalt braucht. Mittelgroßer Balkon mit Aussicht auf andere Hochhäuser. Parkplätze im Haus. Allerdings kein Frühstück im Haus sondern im Nachbarhotel mit einem Gutschein von der Rezeption. Tolles Buffet! Es erfüllt seinen Zweck und alles ist schnell zu erreichen.
