The Hotel is in an excellent location. Very close to transport and shops. The hotel staff is helpful and polite. Internet connection was good. Parking for $25/day was a good deal. Unfortunately, the 1 bedroom apartment we stayed in for 5 nights was very neglected and dirty. We complained about it shortly after we arrived and while we were out a housekeeper visited our apartment but failed to fix the problems. The blanket on the bed was thorned, the windows were all dirty, including the frames, with some mold growing on the glass. The shelves of the kitchen cabinets were disgustingly soiled, the pendant lights above the benchtop were very dusty, garments from a previous guest were left in the dryer and one of the frying pans had burnt on food residue. These were the bigger problems. The safe in the room was disengaged, therefore unusable (they are disengaged in all rooms) carpet needed vacuuming. The condition of the apartment was far from 4 stars. It would not pass even at a cheap backpacker hostel.

Beautiful apartment, close to everything. Lovely staff. Well appointed gym and pool with spa. Excellent 👍

This property is fantastic for convenience. Public transport, shopping nearby is excellent. Food options are great and staff were very friendly. Only thing I could comment on what was there was a bin in the car park that was overflowing for our four day stay and was never emptied.

Decent hotel in good location pays to get a high floor as garbage truck are noisy otherwise decent overall for the price… pool is small and gym tight but functional.

The room did not have a kitchen. It had a microwave and sink. It did not have a washing machine machine which we assumed it would have.

It would be better if there was fox or movies for young ones, especially when weather is bad.

Unfortunately our bathroom drain had a horrible smell, and the toilet roll was left empty on the holder? The air-conditioning control panel didn't work so we were unable to adjust the temperature. It was just a bed to sleep in for us, so not a huge deal, however it was a bit disappointing for a Mantra. The check in was excellent, very seamless and kind, welcoming staff. Also, the lift doors shut super quick, which was strange!

The one and only bin over flowing, as they don’t do daily clean. Don’t need beds made, just take towels and trash. Mentioned to receptionist and they booked the cleaner for next day, no one showed up. Toilet constantly refilling, there is a problem with plumbing!

The bathroom was disgusting. The mould was awful.

Not told about 50 bond Bathroom needs some attention grout not white and tiles around the floor, silicone needs replacing Wall s need paintimg No milk for coffee

was kept awake by plumbing sound and bath was not clean, needed a scrub to get scum off. moved to a second room forcsecond night, less plumbing noise but room was very stuffy and smelt of wet carpet. balcony had dirt on railing that may have fallen from above. just not clean.

Poor attention to detail. Examples - in one bedroom apartment, only one face washer. Couple of grubby areas in kitchen. Toaster didn't work and replacement provided was old, rusty and had an old piece of pita bread already in it (yuk)! Bathroom exhaust inadequate (fogged up straight away). Foyer smelled of garbage. Smoke alarm located only a few feet from toaster and jug, with notice saying use range hood and open window if using. Not good enough!

We stayed 4 nights and our bed wasn't made once by the staff despite us being out everyday giving them time to do it. That was disappointing. There wasn't any information about what was around and how to get to places. We felt like the staff expected us to know the area they didn't seem interested in providing high quality services like you'd except.

시설은 좋았으나 3박4일간 청소를 해주지 않았다.신년연휴라고 청소를 해주는 직언이 없다고 3일간 침대 정리는 물론이고 쓰레기도 치워주지 않아서 불편하미 많았다.

The room looks dated. the bathroom is very dated. It was clean and the service was good

Not Mantras fault for area around the property. Contractors working on external buildings started at 6.30am on a Saturday morning when they are not supposed to start up till after 8am. Not a reflection on Mantra at all, as their room was very quiet and free of noise from surrounding rooms.

The bed was so comfy, I slept wonderfully. The staff were so lovely, the rooms comfortable and spacious. The unexpected Easter basket was a sweet bonus

When I went to check in at 11:40pm, the receptionist informed me that he had cancelled my booking without calling me first. I asked him why he did, and he didn't have an explanation just didn't think I was coming and acted very oddly about it. I have had late check ins to many places in the past and no one has ever cancelled my booking without minimum calling me first. They wre a 24hr reception as well, so that also didn't make sense. After about 20 minutes of him doing something on the computer he rebooked me, but directly through the Mantra, instead of going through Hotels.com ( so I lost my stamp). He said we could have late check out at 11:30 but then must not have put it on our file because at 10:05am someone was pounding on our door and when we said we ha late check out, the receptionist called us and said that they needed us to leave as soon as possible so they could clean the room. When we checked out at 11:15 ( earlier than they told us we could stay), the new receptionist was really abrupt and didn't even look up and told us we could go. Everyone was pretty rude, and the whole experience was just odd. It was a lot of money to spend on a pretty average room and terrible, awkward customer service.

The Mantra Chatswood is the only place I stay in Sydney now, and have done so many times. I use a wheelchair and there is a particular room I like which I am usually able to have if I book early. The staff are so accomodating to my needs and occasional requests, and they are friendly and available around the clock. It’s a great location close to Chatswood Railway, and loads of buses leave from nearby.

Convenient stay to access the Chatswood neighborhood and it is a <30mins train ride down to the Sydney CBD area.

Friendly staff and conveniently located. Not having a restaurant or room service is a bit of a pain as waiting in the lobby for your Uber Eats isn’t much fun
