The breakfast was very expensive for what you got. Definitely not worth it. The buffet was basically the same breakfast we can get an other hotels like a best western or the holiday inn up the street for free. The hot tub was also not good - way to shallow for an adult. The water line basically sits at your waist. Other than these two things everything else was great. Waterside and pool were the main highlights for the kids. Room was great with two bunk beds for the kids at an excellent price.

The staff was very friendly and the buffet breakfast had lots of options. The shower water temp was barely warm. Must be something wrong with the tap because the sink water temp would get hot. The TV picture wasn’t great and it would lose signal often and cut out. The hot tub was out of order while we were there.

Beds are horribly hard and noisy. Hallway carpet in the north wing was dirty on the second floor. Decor is dated. Rooms are big, but that’s the nicest thing I can say about this hotel. Our room had two queen sized hard noisy beds, a tv, a desk, and a rolling desk chair. A mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The bathroom was small and very dated. We had breakfast at the “buffet” one of the four mornings we were at the hotel. Would not recommend. Coffee was just gross. Hotel was packed and the other guests were loud, slamming doors and having domestic disagreements late into the night. There was security roaming the hallways 24hrs/day. The only reason we stayed was the water park. Our kids loved it but the pool was dirty, scum caked on the tiles all around the pool. Strong chlorine smell. But our kids loved the slide. Location was fantastic for us, and the area had tons of other dining options for us.

Was too much chlorine in pool had to contact emergency services for my granddaughter who may have had chlorine poisoning.. she is fine after rest... but was very scary.. my eyes started burning minutes from when i walked into pool area.

I stayed here for two nights and upon check in the staff (who were very nice) said there was no way for them to inform us the pool wasn’t in service. That was the only reason we decided to stay here was for the pool and it couldn’t be used for the days we spent here. The kids had nothing to do but be cooped up in a room that had what I assume dog pee stains on the carpet.

Really old building. In need of repair and cleaning. 2 nd floor hallway carpet smelt bad walking down the hallway. Bath room door wouldnt close because it had water damage bad at the bottom. Limited toiletries and towels for 4 people. The kids loved the pool and had a great time. Lots of people out back of hotel very drunk and shooting up. Wouldn’t park back there for the night for sure. Good security, walking the hallway so felt safe, but too bad they had to be there. Won’t bother staying at that location ever again.

There was a mouse in our room, the bath tub was dirty and broken taps, in need of major updating and upgrades. Pool may have been the best part but kind of cold. They did refund us one of the three nights of our trip for the issues but didn’t feel worth it. They were very apologetic but will not be staying there again and would not recommend. Bummer because the room set up is great. Price was good but not for what it was. Made the best of it with the Winnipeg activities and just used the room to sleep.

The curtains on the window are very old and bad. Hanging off hooks and don’t cover the window. We put our winter jackets on the ledge to try to keep them closed. Room was ok but for $500/ night could you have a bit softer toilet paper!!!! Shower head is ancient and water still comes out the tub tap!! Lights on outside of bathroom very inconvenient as wakes people up when you turn the light on to go to bathroom.

Originally I had a pool window room, which I did not want as the pool is indoors so I had no outdoor light. The hotel was fully booked our first night but they accommodated us the next day and changed our room for us so we could get that natural light we prefer.

We booked a king suite room with no natural light (Didn’t realize). Our window view was the lobby. The room was really outdated. The pool was cold. And in the lobby I noticed security monitors that showed the pool and gym, kind of weird in my opinion that everyone can just look at the cameras of people in the pool and gym. Not worth the price I paid. It was an alright stay, but wouldn’t book again.

The property was in fine condition but the rooms do not face outside, so no window making it a little dark and depressing. The biggest issue was the noise. You could hear everything above you and outside your door, it was noisey past midnight so made it a tough sleep. Also, the first room I got smelt like mold, thankfully the staff put me in a new room no questions asked. Likely would not stay again due to the noise.

Check not friendly. No smile. We were told we could check in early at 2pm when called in the morning of. Only one room was available. Checkin took a long time. Waited 35 mins for a bag cart. Rooms very far apart. Had to call 2 times for more towels at pool.

Check in took 20 minites because staff had been left single handed. the hall to mu room was was dimly lit dingy and dirty. The staff would not print a receipt. I originally booked a king but they moved me to a noisy room across from their storage. I stayed in a renovated area earlier in the summer and it was nice but did not clean or replace towels over 3 days. This morning I got up and the coffee selections were mostly decaf. This used to be a good hotel. Not now.

Newly renovated rooms were very comfortable and welcoming. We liked everything about this hotel. Restaurant, pool, rooms, centrally located, ample parking and safe area. Staff were very friendly and helpful and made booking in and checking out easy! We will definitely choose this hotel again!! Thank you

The first night we were there,the room was dated. We had loud neighbors that night and we requested to be moved to a "renovated" room for the second night. Staff apologized for our experience, moved us to a much nicer room and refunded one nights stay. They dealt with the issue quickly and fairly I thought.

We had booked a room with two queen beds but were given one with a single king bed and a couch instead. After informing the staff of the mistake, they simply told us to pull out the couch and use it as a bed—without providing proper bed sheets or blankets. It took nearly an hour for someone to bring blankets, by which time we were already trying to sleep. To make things worse, there was loud drilling from roofers in the middle of the night, which went on for almost three hours. We called twice to complain, but the noise continued and completely disrupted our sleep. When we shared our concerns with the receptionist the next morning, she barely acknowledged us and continued focusing on her work, showing no interest in addressing the issue. We simply returned the room cards and left. Definitely not recommending this place to anyone.

The staff made this hotel stay better than I could have imagined! We were off to a rough start after our flight, and the staff were able to get us checked in early so we could get our daughter down for a nap. They were able to help with any request we had (i.e., a crib in our room, a stopper for the bath drain, etc.) The pool was always very clean. There was only one time when there were no towels, but thats to be expected when it was so busy! Dining in the restaurant was very good as well. We didn't have a single bad meal. The area around the property was well maintained, but we did see two different cars with smashed windows (not the hotel's fault, but definitely something to be aware of). We were very happy with our stay, and would definitely stay again!

We were very happy with our stay at Canad Inns. It was a great value. It is definitely an older hotel but it is well maintained and clean. On one particularly freezing cold day, we were able to just inside the hotel, enjoy the pool and the dinner theatre in the evening. It was a really nice relaxing day. We liked the location as it was almost in the middle of many of the places we wanted to visit. There was gas and a grocery store super close to grab a few items during our stay. The restaurant was very good.

It is not my first time at this hotel. It doesn't have anything great but it is fine and fair price. The surrounding has many shop and restaurant. It is also very good if (like us) you need to move south. Overall I recommend for a cosy responsible price hotel.

Room was very clean. Spacious for the whole family didn't have to get two rooms. Very accommodating. Altos and the indoor swimming pool was very convenient. It's getting really cold. We didn't have to leave the hotel if we wanted to have fun. Kids and ourselves loved the stay. Will definitely use Canad inns again when on vacation. Thanks so much for the great work and experience.

We stayed here for the first time this weekend and the kids really enjoyed it. The rooms were a little outdated but they were clean, there’s a large pool with a water slide, hot tub and wading pool for littles ones. The restaurant in the hotel was delicious, very reasonably priced and the staff were fabulous. We had breakfast and supper there and enjoyed both. The only downside was the Tavern restaurant that is open in the evening. We tried it on our first night as we arrived late but the food was horrible and overcooked. I would recommend not wasting your money, we ended up eating none of it.
