I have stayed at this property—and many other Best Western locations—several times and have never had a complaint before. I fully understand that the room rates were higher than usual due to the Grey Cup, and that was my own choice. However, during this stay, the amenities that I specifically choose Best Western for were unexpectedly unavailable. After checking in, we went to use the gym, only to be told by the front desk that it was closed. We then decided to enjoy the hot tub, but were informed that it was also under maintenance. Finally, we tried to use the indoor pool, but the water was extremely cold and uncomfortable. When we mentioned this to the front desk staff, they appeared disinterested and simply said “it is what it is.” We explained that we had paid a significantly higher rate and were unable to use a single amenity, and their response was that we “should have called before booking.” I found that reply quite unprofessional, as guests do not typically need to call ahead to confirm whether standard amenities are functioning. I have never requested a refund before, but in this case, I feel extremely disappointed, and I believe it is fair to request compensation for an experience where none of the expected amenities were available.

The pool and hot tub were shut down, but nothing was noted on the website. I would have liked to know about that in advance. The hotel was also flooded with evacuees from the forest fires, and they were acting like the hotel belonged to them. There were people yelling late at night, and kids running up and down the hallways during the day. Disappointing to say the least.

Very convenient for a late night airport arrival. Shuttle driver was not available at 1:30am, so the front desk said to take a taxi and the then paid for the taxi. It was very convenient and hassle free.

Front entrance smelled of smoke. Facilities were clean. The hot tub was old, and water was only warm. Pool was cold, but I know there was maintenance on it the previous day, so maybe it just hadn't warmed up yet.

The room was dirty and was not cleaned prior to our visit. There were dirty socks in the end table between the bed and there was an alcohol bottle under the mattress. Hand prints all over mirrors and the bedding was dirty. The floors in our room and in the hotel hallways had food and other debris littering the carpets. Trash cans immediately outside of the entrance doors were overflowing with garbage. After seeing all of this. I did not feel comfortable staying in the hotel and contacted Expedia. Expedia was amazing to deal with and because of their customer service I will continue to book with Expedia. I would not recommend staying at this hotel at all. Completely unacceptable to have rooms in this state and so disappointed in Best Western Hotel Company.

Half an hour after check in we were on the elevator and a cockroach scrambled out of the elevator. Rugs looked like they had not been vacuumed in a very long time and many people loitering around the building outside. Very dirty hotel and we did not feel safe going outside. Called expedia and they requested a refund for which Best western provided. Thank you Expedia. Would not not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Our room was terrible carpet looked like it hadnt been vacummed in awhile . And ned had what looked like a deied up blood stain on it i took a poc i will send. Outside was numerois people smoking eight in feont of the doors.watched a person get deopped off by cab amd vomit before enterinv hotel. Numerous very intoxicated people in the lobby .

Had to request refund. Hotel is in a poor sanitary condition. Security is poor as there is no card lock so anyone can acces the elevators and doors. Blood on bed mattress and floor. Worst stay Ive had. Had to go and refund the rest of the stay and move to another hotel.

There was garbage over flowing & blowing all over the front entrance. The carpet was not vacuumed properly, you could see dirt & dust along the edges of the wall & in the corners. There was only one elevator working so it was a very long wait. There were a number of intoxicated people both alcohol & drug related loitering in the hall ways. I had called ahead requesting a room on the bottom floor as I had my 85 yr old mother with me. I mentioned that it was a medical trip & she was partially blind with mobility issues. They put us on the 4th floor down a long hallway. The room was very beaten up, carpet had been patched, furniture was scratched & the TV wasn't working. This is a very run down Best Western & this is being extremely polite !!!! I will not be staying here again.

Close to the airport. Not a lot nearby. Very dated. We stayed 3 nights. The rooms have the wall air conditioner units. By the time we checked out, our room had a really bad musty smell. Probably would choose another place to stay next time.

quite run down. had to change rooms because our tv didn’t work and no one could help fix it. our first room had tape to seal a window covered by a curtain that had holes. shower was run down and the water pressure was poor. pool and hot tub were gross. take pictures of things as soon as you enter the room or they may get you for things that are already broken before you enter the room.

At check-in, they only had one person to handle all the guests looking to register. Took longer to get registered and keys than I normally would experience at other hotels. They also did not offer an upgrade to Expedia members.

The property itself was what we expected: clean, inviting, easy to navigate. The shining star for this hotel is their staff, Olga. She learned that we had just experienced a horrible flight (delays, cancellations, lost baggage, and rental car issues). She made us feel welcome, upgraded our room, and checked in with us EVERY time we saw her each day. She provided us with any info we needed (where to shop to replace clothing, etc). She went above and beyond! Olga is amazing!!!

The young man at the front desk was so enjoyable. Great people person! Our room was very clean, beds really comfortable. Our stay was short because of a very early flight but would definitely stay here again!

MD and all staff we spoke to at the Best Western was extremely helpful, hospital and made our stay there exceptional. Rooms were clean and comfortable. While the immediate area is not the best for walking, hotel is a short walk from a Super Store for groceries, Tim Hortons for coffee and there is child friendly amenities nearby such as the Flying Squirrel, Airplane Museum and an indoor playground. Overall we had a great experience

The food options at Dalton. It was very poor. They could not accommodate gluten free as they had limited options, and all of them needed to be baked and their oven was down. Their prices are very expensive in the restaurant, higher than surrounding restaurants. The service was very very slow and the orders inaccurate.

For breakfast, I went to the buffet. No mention of cost. For one cup of coffee, a slice of toast, two breakfast sausages and two slivers of bacon it cost me $21.23. Chances of me staying there again? Not on your life.

Terrible Service & Overpriced Food No shuttle service—I called five times and ended up taking a taxi. The front desk was overwhelmed, and my key failed twice, forcing me to go back and forth. To make things worse, a small club sandwich and soup cost $48—completely ridiculous. Poor organization, overpriced dining, and frustrating service. Not recommended.

The room was clean, the hot tub at the pool was lukewarm, there were no towels in pool area and when we went to the restaurant was immediately asked for a voucher that we didnt recieve to be told maybe not everyone gets one. The restaurant service was terrible.
