Paid for a Supperior double room but got only a street level room ! Seaview only by the window not a balcony as advertized 👎! Breakfast served at the room (hotel has not a restaurant or bar )you have to beg for a napkin 👎! Ac/ heating does not work well! No parking around, beach

We were a little apprehensive after the hotel we were in had a different name than what we booked, but connected to the main building. But it\'s a chain group and our room turned out to be newer and cleaner than others (room 1). The view from the balcony was amazing, perched atop a cliff overlooking the sea. The room was clean. AC didn\'t work but it was ok as we just left the window open it wasn\'t too hot. Shower was fine and worked, hot and cold. Be aware, though, the hotel is 25-30 mins uphill of a walk along a very narrow two way road that should barely be a one way. You have to walk on the side of the road which can be very dangerous with no sidewalks. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel---good to come back from Amalfi and get dropped off but impossible to get a ride down from as the buses often pass or are full. It\'s also a complete scam finding bus tickets--drivers say go find a "guy" or try to sell you themselves. The stores all don\'t sell tickets. Everyone\'s fighting and the taxis know it so they charge $30 euro for a 4 minute drive. One benefit of the hotel also is it\'s right above a great private beach (10-15 euro per person), the only catch is its a 500 step staircase down and up (takes 8 minutes down, 15 up). Not many people go since you can only get to it by boat (expensive) or by those stairs, so if you\'re in good shape it\'s great. Not crowded like the others. Overall the hotel was fine for a short 2 night stay for us.

Very nice hotel! We booked a room with an over look and a jacuzzi tub. The water didn’t stay warm enough to fill the tub, but the room was overall very nice. The views were beautiful, the staff so nice and accommodating, and breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay here again!

AMAZING experience I wish we would’ve stayed longer. Our breakfast was served in our room, not in the dining area, which I didn’t know upon booking but it was no big deal, it was very nice, good food selection, we had an amazing view. The only feedback for the hotel, please be more informative when it comes to the odd/even number driving system. Some days your car can drive around some days you can’t. Also there are areas in Amalfi you’re not allowed to drive into or you’ll be penalized. The hotel should be helpful & voluntarily informative about this. The parking guy next door-Alfredo at the Gas Bar was so helpful, we couldn’t ask for anyone better! As far as the hotel itself, amazing accommodation! Easy check in and check out! Owner was smart to send us a video of check in instructions since we were arriving very late. PLEASE have an iron at least ONE iron for guests to use. We were going to a wedding and needed to iron my husband’s suit, we had to drive elsewhere to find an iron to use. There should be at least ONE, this is a must have for any hotel accommodation! Other than that — HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Poor air conditiong, fridge did not work properly and bar upstairs was just for show. Location on main road with no shops nearby. Amalfi centre 20 min walk on busy road - unsafe. Breakfast was poor. Hotel conveniently located above beach and staff were friendly.

The property had incredible views for sure, the rooms were very small and needed lots of updates. It is an old building as most are around there. We were a group of 6 that had 3 different rooms and all 3 rooms had ants. We came home late our first night as we were checking out the town, we may have been a bit loud as there were 6 of us but we went to our rooms pretty quickly after entering the building. The next morning at breakfast, the owner showed us video footage as loud as possible and yelled at us in front of everyone then proceeded to yell at his staff about it after as well. It was very poorly communicated to us and very unprofessional. Samwell that works in the evening’s is absolutely wonderful other than him, none of us would recommend this property.

Good value for rare cliffside property in Amalfi with gorgeous views. Room was clean, spacious and housekeeping was excellent Ocean view room is slightly more expensive but may be worth the view, privacy and quietness. Standard room is few steps down to dining aisle and walkway so there may be some noise if guests are loud Property is 25 - 30 minute walk uphill / 20 minute walk downhill from port / bus station, city center, Domo, dining and main tourist area. Coming from Sorrento asking bus driver to stop just before Amalfi terminal could save time and effort since less than three minute walk downhill to property. Use google map to insure pinpoint location drop off is close to place otherwise walk may be considerable Bottom line if you’re fit and healthy highly recommend. This is not the place to stay if you’re easily winded. For your safety recommend use phone light when walking in the dark to warn vehicles since some areas may require walking in street

The Amalfi Coast is absolutely beautiful and I had such high hopes for this hotel. It looked so cute and whimsy in the photos. Booked a superior double room w/view. While it did have a stunning view, the room was nothing like the pictures. The room was so small the only place to open your suitcase is on the bed. No closet or dresser for clothes. Literally the smallest shower I have ever used, smaller than one in an RV. Our room was crawling with tiny ants. Description states hotel offers room service and that is untrue. The owner is the rudest person I have ever dealt with while staying at a hotel. He literally shamed us in front of other guests for coming in past their quiet curfew of 10pm. The hotel is not walkable to town because the street is so dangerously narrow and busy- lots of cars, buses and vespas. Taxi into town is less than a mile but they charge you 40 euros one way. The only bright side of this hotel was an employee named Samwell, and the Hotel Ninfa doesn’t deserve him.

La salle de bain a besoin d un serieux rafraîchissement (plafond moisi, etat robinetterie et spa) Le menage moyen, on avait zncore la documentation et les chips du précédent occupant, poils dsns la baignoire Petit déjeuner avec la vue et personnel sympatique

This was our 1st time to Italy and we chose the Amalfi Coast to explore. While crowded on the buses and ferry’s, coming back to Hotel La Ninfa after a long days was perfect. It was quiet, clean and scenery simply breathtaking. The photos are exactly like the property. We found walking to downtown Amalfi an easy journey and we would take the SITA home after dinner and it stopped right in front of the hotel. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The morning breakfast was delicious. Very happy we chose Hotel La Ninfa.

Dirty room. The room was so small, it made me claustrophobic. Nice location but far from the city centre, very hard to find a taxi in this area.

The property was an Ocean Front building on a cliff. We had a Breath taking Ocean Front room. Every morning we would start our day with a fresh breakfast. The staff were very kind and responsive. If I go back to Amalfi Coast, definitely will get a room on this property again.

This property has an amazing cliffside view of the ocean. It has small rooms and no sound proofing so its can get very noisy. The managers are nice and the staff are fantastic. Its on a windy road with constant traffic and walking can be precarious. There is a local bus but it just buzzes by if its full so its unreliable.

It’s about 20 minutes to Amalfi nice walk. 2 minutes bus back for 1.5 EU. The smallest room doesn’t fit a regular size adult im petite and struggled. Tiny little room we made do. But never again, if I would stay there again I’ll get the bigger room. How can they build them that way? The staff were beyond nice and helpful.

Very nice hotel! We booked a room with an over look and a jacuzzi tub. The water didn’t stay warm enough to fill the tub, but the room was overall very nice. The views were beautiful, the staff so nice and accommodating, and breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay here again!

Heater unit did not work, we were very cold all night long. We also brought it up with the person in charge, but nothing was done. The room we were in also had ocean water come inside our room at night after a storm, when we woke up everything was wet. Our night was wet and cold and not comfortable.

The property had incredible views for sure, the rooms were very small and needed lots of updates. It is an old building as most are around there. We were a group of 6 that had 3 different rooms and all 3 rooms had ants. We came home late our first night as we were checking out the town, we may have been a bit loud as there were 6 of us but we went to our rooms pretty quickly after entering the building. The next morning at breakfast, the owner showed us video footage as loud as possible and yelled at us in front of everyone then proceeded to yell at his staff about it after as well. It was very poorly communicated to us and very unprofessional. Samwell that works in the evening’s is absolutely wonderful other than him, none of us would recommend this property.

The Amalfi Coast is absolutely beautiful and I had such high hopes for this hotel. It looked so cute and whimsy in the photos. Booked a superior double room w/view. While it did have a stunning view, the room was nothing like the pictures. The room was so small the only place to open your suitcase is on the bed. No closet or dresser for clothes. Literally the smallest shower I have ever used, smaller than one in an RV. Our room was crawling with tiny ants. Description states hotel offers room service and that is untrue. Booked this hotel for a trip to see Italy. Within two minutes of booking realized we had entered the wrong date and attempted to cancel. We were informed that all sales were final. They would not let us change the date or cancel and took our money. We got Expedia involved to also try to contact them and they refused for Expedia as well. I don’t know anything about the property or anything else, but this is terrible service months away from our trip and would still not refund. Would definitely not book with people that treat others like this.

Saw many reviews criticizing the owner. Had the absolute opposite experience. We arrived in amalfi on a Sunday when there's no taxis running and it was super dark out. Couldn't really find a way to the hotel so as a last resort we reached out to the hotel and were pleasantly surprised that they offered us a ride. We were super tired from travelling and that really saved our trip. Beautiful room and beautiful view highly recommend and super greatful to the owner. Do note that it is about a 20 minute walk into the main town but it is nothing short of a beautiful walk.

Service is perfect, nice breakfast. You will need to walk 1km to Amalfi center, but it worth. 20 minutes walking to ferry. Bus 5070 stops very close the hotel, but you need to have tickets first. Maybe the hotel could sell this tickets in future.

Standard room is few steps down to dining aisle and walkway so there may be some noise if guests are loud Property is 25 - 30 minute walk uphill / 20 minute walk downhill from port / bus station, city center, Domo, dining and main tourist area. Coming from Sorrento asking bus driver to stop just before Amalfi terminal could save time and effort since less than three minute walk downhill to property. Use google map to insure pinpoint location drop off is close to place otherwise walk may be considerable Bottom line if you’re fit and healthy highly recommend. This is not the place to stay if you’re easily winded. For your safety recommend use phone light when walking in the dark to warn vehicles since some areas may require walking in street

We were a little apprehensive after the hotel we were in had a different name than what we booked, but connected to the main building. But it\'s a chain group and our room turned out to be newer and cleaner than others (room 1). The view from the balcony was amazing, perched atop a cliff overlooking the sea. The room was clean. AC didn\'t work but it was ok as we just left the window open it wasn\'t too hot. Shower was fine and worked, hot and cold. Be aware, though, the hotel is 25-30 mins uphill of a walk along a very narrow two way road that should barely be a one way. You have to walk on the side of the road which can be very dangerous with no sidewalks. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel---good to come back from Amalfi and get dropped off but impossible to get a ride down from as the buses often pass or are full. It\'s also a complete scam finding bus tickets--drivers say go find a "guy" or try to sell you themselves. The stores all don\'t sell tickets. Everyone\'s fighting and the taxis know it so they charge $30 euro for a 4 minute drive. One benefit of the hotel also is it\'s right above a great private beach (10-15 euro per person), the only catch is its a 500 step staircase down and up (takes 8 minutes down, 15 up). Not many people go since you can only get to it by boat (expensive) or by those stairs, so if you\'re in good shape it\'s great. Not crowded like the others. Overall the hotel was fine for a short 2 night stay for us.

We walked the mile into Amalfi and enjoyed the views, but be aware there isn't much sidewalk, so we shared the road with vehicles. There is a bus stop at the hotel to get into town. (Buy extra tickets when leaving town for the trip back into town.)

beautiful property, every room on the main floor (where you have your breakfast) opens up to a beautiful view of the ocean. breakfast was essentially continental so nothing too exciting but a nice touch (bread, croissants, yogurt, granola, orange juice, jam, butter, nutella with an option for cheese slices and salami) but Ima makes amazing espresso/cappuccinos which made it all better! Marcos & Ima were incredibly kind and helpful staff members throughout our stay, helped us with the bus schedule, figuring out dinner/grocery options. Only reason for "good" rating is that the doors are not very sound proof so you hear every person that enters the building when the door slams but otherwise amazing!

As fotos do quarto publicadas no anúncio não condiziam com a realidade. Ficamos em um quarto muito pequeno em que mal era possível abrir as malas. A vista do mar é muito bonita. O café da manhã não tem muitas opções, mas é bom. Não recomendo o hotel, assim como não recomendo a Costa Amalfitana.

Service is perfect, nice breakfast. You will need to walk 1km to Amalfi center, but it worth. 20 minutes walking to ferry. Bus 5070 stops very close the hotel, but you need to have tickets first. Maybe the hotel could sell this tickets in future.

The property was an Ocean Front building on a cliff. We had a Breath taking Ocean Front room. Every morning we would start our day with a fresh breakfast. The staff were very kind and responsive. If I go back to Amalfi Coast, definitely will get a room on this property again.

We booked hotel La Ninfa as a family of 4, looking forward to get a room with see view as advertised. When we arrived we were given a room with no windows, front door of the room was directly in the main reception entering area (which caused a lot of noise during the mornings). This made it impossible to have a lay in as many other guests were checking in/out. This detail of no windows was not mentioned on any of their pages, which was a disappointment as we were expecting sea view. The beach front area is also not part of the hotel, it was a separate organisation running that with their own costs for a sun bed/ umbrella. Other than that the hotel is very clean and tidy, great location to catch the bus down to the centre. The breakfast had a good selection however the timings were misleading. Staff were helpful as well. throughout our stay.

We had a wonderful day. The room was beautiful and well maintained. The staff was very helpful and kind when we checked in. I called the day. We were leaving to request to purchase a late check out. I was informed that I did not need to pay to stay an hour later with a check out at noon. Then at 11:30 the gentleman from the front desk banged on the front door yelling at us for staying too long with Other guests that wanted to check into that room. I had just gotten out of the shower and could not easily run from the room at that moment. It was quite embarrassing to be yelled at and after I explained, I called and spoke with the front desk, which I only assumed was him and was granted a late check out he said I know I know, but it’s very late. You need to leave now and it felt pretty horrible to finish our stay off that way. All in all, it was a wonderful experience with a beautiful view and right up to the end everything was perfect.
