We stayed here for a few days at the start of a trip to Italy. It wasn't the most conveniently located hotel for exploring the famous sites of Rome, but it wasn't a horrible location, either. We were able to easily navigate the buses and trains to areas we wanted to visit (a bus stop is right outside the property, and buses can take you to a train station). We were sad that the pool was out of commission during our stay, but things happen and the staff provided vouchers to visit the pool at a different hotel nearby. There was also a mall next door that had a variety of shops and dining options.

IL nostro soggiorno presso la struttura è stato eccellente. Si segnala la colazione molto buona ed abbondante e la camera pulita e spaziosa per finire il parcheggio accessibile e comodissimo..... complimenti.

The hotel itself was ok as a base to visit Rome with Pleasant staff however we had heavy duty building work going on so close to the room we could touch the structural core drilling lorry from our balcony and other noisy machines just as close and lots of workmen. To make things worse the hotel facilities were totally closed for 3 days out of our 7 day stay. The hotel had 1 restaurant/bar and swimming pool so when all these were closed it really impacted the stay in the heatwave with nothing to do! We chose the hotel carefully for the pool etc and felt conned when we were asked to leave the pool area for a private party whilst sun bathing at midday.

Het lawaai in de ontbijtzaal door de Barristo bij het uitkloppen van de koffiehouders, geeft enorm veel lawaai. Zwembad geopend vanaf 10 uur s'morgens!! belachelijk als je vroeg een duik wilt nemen. Rest is OK.

Das Hotel liegt günstig um Rom zu erkunden. Mit dem Bus 70 und 700 kommt man in wenigen Minuten zur Metro, die sie direkt zu den Atraktionen der Metropole bringt. Leider kann der Pool nur bis 19:00 Uhr benutzt werden. Nach einem anstrengenden Tag in der Innenstatt wäre eine spätere Abkühlungsmöglichkeit sehr schön.

Mi è piaciuto: che il parcheggio è custodito, e le camere sono accoglienti con i colori rilassanti di mio gradimento Le stanze sono ordinate è sembravano pulite. .invece quando mi è caduta la chiusura di orechino, mentre la cercavo me ne sono accorta che c'erano diversi capelli sul parquet Il phone, purtroppo, si surriscalda dopo neanche un minuto, quindi se si vuole lavare i capelli la mattina, bisogna organizzarsi e svegliarsi al meno un' ora prima, altrimenti, es. si rischia di perdere colazione come è successo a me Un'altra accortezza, visto che la sala colazioni e reception non si trovano nello stesso edificio dei alloggi/camere, sarebbe opportuno mettere a disposizione dei ombrelli per quando piove

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa struttura per la vicinanza al palazzetto dello sport (circa 10 minuti a piedi, anche meno) e siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi. Stanza calda, accogliente, letto comodo, servizi e pulizia impeccabili. Menzione obbligatoria alla colazione abbondante e ottima.

Da un 4 stelle mi aspetto servizio e pulizia da hotel 4 stelle. Arrivati in camera abbiamo trovato: - bagno sporco (tavoletta con schizzi di urina) - pantofole monouso usate abbandonate nella camera - specchio pieno di manate - fascia bordo letto sgualcita e si capiva che non era stata sostituita Dopo segnalazione alla reception hanno provveduto alla sostituzione della camera... che era stata "controllata". Ebbene... mi accorgo poi la sera che nel porta spazzolini del bagno era presente un tubetto di dentifricio sicuramente utilizzato dai precedenti occupanti. Deludente e da non tornare.

It was perhaps one of my worst ever stays, from the moment I walked in the staff were rude and unhelpful ! After check in I made them aware my bathroom has hair inside of it and that it hadn’t been cleaned properly they totally ignored this and didn’t get done! The only positive was the lovely gentleman who I guess perhaps a manager a young guy who was ever so helpful and attentive the rest of the staff need a huge amount of training ! I have never seen a 4 star hotel with such awful customer service I felt uncomfortable even speaking to them as they were unable to help in any way ! Refused to get me a bottle of water and was told “I am a receptionist” go to th swimming pool if you want water I was totally shocked by this response! I would never stay here again neither would I ever recommend anybody to stay in this awful hotel! Hospitality is about creating great experiences for guests and if I hadn’t made commitments and meetings with my work I would have left the place this is something that could never happen anywhere else!

Clean room but not a 4 star level! The hotel is actually splitter in 2 buildings: one tower with probably 4star-alike rooms, and a couple of motel-like buildings with parking and small rooms. The second is a 3star facility, to be generous. Breakfast is excellent and abundant. Primarily Italian-style, as could be expected.

Not everyone sits in a bathtub. Shower curtains should be provided for people that take showers standing to avoid water spills. TV’s should be programmed for different languages. Refrigerator should work. There should be window screens to avoid flies and spiders coming in. Rooms are super small for the price. Fake pictures & false advertisement on the web. The additional tax was unexpected & unfair. I had paid everything online. Hidden charges are not good for business. The hotel was outdated, 70’s style. Mattress & pillows were super uncomfortable.

nice hotel, but put us in wrong room initially. Mini bar advertised on site doesn't exist without request and payment (had this out with hotel manager - he did then bring us some freebies). A few things not quite measuring up to website. Breakfast was ok - fair to middling. Hot part a bit unusual. Pool was nice and warmish. bar/ restaurant was ok, but feel the food a bit over priced. Right next to shopping mall Staff were a bit argumentative when given wrong room (small double bed in small room for 3 people.....don't think so) and when they offered to bring another bed......unless you're a Barbie doll, there was no way another bed would fit in that box room. We had humped all baggage up ....to have to bring it all back down...not easy in a v small lift. Definitely not 4* as described, but ok for a short stay, especially when you know you are moving on to luxury.

It was the worst experience I had staying at a hotel. The reception staff are not friendly. When you arrive, they continue reading or be on the pc & wait for you to greet them first. When you ask the reception about modes of transport & directions, you are told to Google & find out where you want to go. There is no egg station to prepare your egg how you would like it, you had to eat the cold scrambled eggs made earlier & kept. There is a language barrier & staff are not willing to assist with any queries. Overall they are rude or maybe it was just because of my skin colour. #RACISM

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Colombo! We didnt want to stay in central Rome but wanted a good public transport network and a pool to cool down in after long days, this was exactly what we got. The bus stop is the otherside of the road (underpass) its a 6 minute ride to EUR Fermi (Metro) then about 25 minutes to Colosseum. The staff were really helpful and always available. The breakfast is all you can eat, delicious and there was a great variety of food available which was always topped up as they opened breakfast from 6:30am - 10am. There is a very large shopping mall (Euroma2) literally round the corner which has a huge supermarket (Ipercoop) in. The pool is open between 10am-7pm which is great and a god send after a long and hot day walking round beautiful Rome. They offer free early bag drop off which was perfect as we had and early flight but couldn't check in until 3pm. Would definitely return if we came back to Rome as couldnt fault the place and location.

We didnt want to stay in central Rome but wanted a good public transport network and a pool to cool down in after long days, this was exactly what we got. The bus stop is the otherside of the road (underpass) its a 6 minute ride to EUR Fermi (Metro) then about 25 minutes to Colosseum. The staff were really helpful and always available. The breakfast is all you can eat, delicious and there was a great variety of food available which was always topped up as they opened breakfast from 6:30am - 10am. There is a very large shopping mall (Euroma2) literally round the corner which has a huge supermarket (Ipercoop) in. The pool is open between 10am-7pm which is great and a god send after a long and hot day walking round beautiful Rome. They offer free early bag drop off which was perfect as we had and early flight but couldn't check in until 3pm. Would definitely return if we came back to Rome as couldnt fault the place and location.

nice hotel, but put us in wrong room initially. Mini bar advertised on site doesn't exist without request and payment (had this out with hotel manager - he did then bring us some freebies). A few things not quite measuring up to website. Breakfast was ok - fair to middling. Hot part a bit unusual. Pool was nice and warmish. bar/ restaurant was ok, but feel the food a bit over priced. Right next to shopping mall Staff were a bit argumentative when given wrong room (small double bed in small room for 3 people.....don't think so) and when they offered to bring another bed......unless you're a Barbie doll, there was no way another bed would fit in that box room. We had humped all baggage up ....to have to bring it all back down...not easy in a v small lift. Definitely not 4* as described, but ok for a short stay, especially when you know you are moving on to luxury.

Clean room but not a 4 star level! The hotel is actually splitter in 2 buildings: one tower with probably 4star-alike rooms, and a couple of motel-like buildings with parking and small rooms. O hotel é ótimo, porém a equipe não tem preparo para o porte do estabelecimento: Cobraram por talheres (5€), nós pedimos talheres na recepção, e eles direcionaram para o restaurante, que nos cobrou por algo que costuma ser gratuito em outros hotéis. O ponto é que não mencionaram que haveria tal cobrança durante a solicitação. O nosso quarto tinha um problema com a porta, que não trancava (dormimos com a porta sem fechar, travando as malas atrás da mesma) e depois de duas visitas do técnico de manutenção, somente no dia seguinte nos trocaram de quarto. O frigobar não funcionava. O secador de cabelo não funcionava. O hotel conta com uma estrutura incrível, mas é mau administrado. Café da manhã realmente muito bom e bem completo!
