Pro tip: use the service elevators on the way down. They’re located in the stairway entrance, go to floor “0” then turn right to hallway. Going up the main elevators are fine, but going down you’ll wait forever. This just saved you 30-45 minutes each day. You’re welcome.

It was overall a nice and pleasant stay. Fantastic roof terrace with ocean and mountain view, bar open in the evening. We spend quite some time in the bars, friendly and service minded bartenders. Some places look a bit worn down, but price taken into consideration, it's okay and fair. But if your looking for top dollar, first class and spotless, this may not be it. Limited parking space. We didn't speak italian, so communication was often a challenge. But we enjoyed our vacation a lot.

Gammeldags nokså slitt hotel. Vi var der i slutten av september, da var takterrassen stengt for sesongen. Det stod ingen ster at den var det. Veldig harde senger, dårlige puter og teppe ti å ha over seg. Maten var ikke all verden.

Bra rom. Hotellet noe unna byens sentrum, men det går an å gå... Vi tok taxi inn til sentrum, og gikk tilbake om kvelden. Stor dusj. Sinnsykt utvalg på frokosten med kaker og croissanter, men "vanlig" mat var det ikke mye utvalg av. Men greit nok. Parkering: Hvis du er griseheldig slik som oss, så får du parkering rett utenfor hotellet ( inne på hotellområdet) gratis. Hvis det er fullt, så kan man kjøre opp en etasje og parkere der for 10 Euro pr dag. Kjøleskap på rommet fungerte ikke. Litt lyd fra heisen, men kun for de "lydhøre". 😁 Deilig AC når man først skjønte hvordan den fungerte.

Das Zimmer war sauber und wurde täglich gereinigt. Leider gab es weder Whirlpool noch Fitnessraum. Die Flure war dreckig und ungepflegt, Flecken auf Teppichen und an den Wänden. Im Treppenhaus und am Zugang zur Dachterasse stand überall Sperrmüll. Der Barkeeper auf der Dachterasse war nicht gerade freundlich. Direkt vor dem Hotel gibt es eine Busverbindung in die Altstadt, eine Straße weiter fährt ein Bus zum schönen Strand Mondello.

All'arrivo troviamo il wc sporchissimo, asciugamani e lenzuola con capelli. Lo facciamo presente alla reception e ci dicono che provvedono a rifare la stanza. Rientriamo e praticamente ci accorgiamo che cia hanno preso in giro perchè non hanno fatto nulla. Lo facciamo notare all addetto per la pulizia e ci risponde "vabbè anche le asciugamani sono pulite, i capelli possono capitare". Facciamo le foto del wc sporco e dei capelli dappertutto e ci rechiamo alla reception chiedendo un cambio di stanza. Alla reception non hanno voluto vedere le foto e dietro insistenza ci spostano in una stanza non pulitissima ma sicuramente più pulita della prima e senza riscaldamento . Allucinante. Capisco le stanze vissute e datate ma la pulizia è fondamentale

Absolutely terrible. It was dirty and there were stains on the bed sheets. The staff was off-Standish when I asked for an earlier check in. I left in 6 hours and booked a new hotel. Don’t go.

Terrible terrible terrible! The rooms are filthy, even after we asked to have them cleaned again. The carpet was suppossed to be red but it’s so dirty is gray. Underneath the bed hasn’t been vacumed for what seemed like months. Closets and tables were filthy and we had to cleaned them before using them. The security safe, tv, mini fridge and even the room fron door lock didn’t work!! One staff member was rude upon checkin, the woman screemed at my senior mother. On top of all this the area around the hotel is the most dirty, ugly and unsafe place I’ve ever seen. This is not worth staying in to safe a few dollars. The only acceptable thing about this place was the restaurant, breakfast was good enough.

L'hotel n'a rien d'un palace comme son nom l'indique. Clim defecteuse à 3 reprises. Coffre fort defectueu à 2 reprises, frigo defectueu, 2 reprises. Nous étions 4 dans 2 chambres. Elles étaient aux 2 extremité du coloir séparées par 12 chambres. Pas de Wifi dans une chambre il fallait aller dans le couloir pour telephonner. Personnel agréable. Manque de fruits au petit déjeuner.

The hotel was in a decent location but everything else was a bit disappointing. There was a hair on the toliet lid when we arrived and the air didn't work. Lucky for us we were only staying for 2 nightes before moving to the next location because the bed was as hard as a rock and I am not exaggerating... The price was nice but it was rated as a 4 star and I would say 2 star at best...

Staff were mostly pleasant although not hugely helpful. The bar and reception area are nice. The room was clean and the hairdryer in the bathroom was good. Pictures of a standard room on Expedia are actually of a superior room (we were told when we shared them with reception staff) so the rooms are dated with few amenities - certainly no kettle for example. We were told we could have hot water for drinks whenever but this actually meant at breakfast service when the urn was either tepid or empty. The hotel is a long way from the sights of Palermo and the 107 bus unreliable. It's a long walk through a run down neighbourhood (don't do it alone) or a 20 euro taxi ride from the centre. Don't stay here unless you have your own transport. Splash out on something nicer nearer the centre.

Don't get lured in by the "pretty" pictures posted on Expedia. It is COMPLETELY a bait and switch. The room we got looked NOTHING like the photos shown on the site. The room looked worse than Motel 6 or any of those cheap hotel chains in the USA. Where do I even start? When I first stepped into the room, I was greeted by the smell of raw sewage and I discovered it was coming from the bathroom. It made me want to gag and puke. The sink, toilet, and tub had old stains on them, the carpet was old and musty, and the walls had black smudges everywhere. When I went to the front desk to complain about the smell, they were unapologetic and acted like they couldn't care less and said they would send someone to look at it "tomorrow." I'm sorry, but you want me to sleep in room that smells like rancid sewage? Also the room key card they gave me didn't work. I had to go up and downstairs about 10 times to ask for a new card. How lame, especially given they only had two tiny slow elevators. Such a shame that I booked 5 whole nights here. I had to open the window to help with the sewage smell, and then mosquitoes came in and bit me a million times. Someone eventually did come in and spray some air freshener which sort of helped cover the smell. The worst was that the front desk concierge was completely unapologetic and acted annoyed whenever I asked them something. They really need to learn some customer service because I'd give them a big fat F.

La habitación muy vieja, el aire no funcionaba, una sábana con mancha de sangre, ruido insoportable en la zona de nuestra habitación. Las señoras de la limpieza y los camareros muy amables. This is not a 4 star hotel despite the advertised rating. It is an old facility in urgent need of an upgrade. For example, the Astro turf up in the 12th floor terrace is in urgent need of replacement. To be fair, the room and bathroom were clean and adequate. Is not the hotel’s fault but its location is far from the city center and without easy access. The taxi rides in Palermo are expensive and must be factored in when calculating the total cost of your stay. Only some members of the staff were friendly. On the positive side, the price was relatively inexpensive but stay away from the hotel restaurant. The food there was mediocre and expensive although the person in charge was nice.

Hotel prevalentemente per turisti stranieri inviati in massa dai grandi tour operator di medio-basso livello, dozzinale e sovraffollato. A volte bisogna aspettare 10 minuti l’ascensore, talvolta non si trova posto a sedere per la colazione. Situato lontano dal centro storico in una brutta zona rumorosa. Ci sono andato per lavoro e non l’ho potuto scegliere, ma non ci tornerei privatamente. Personale gentile.

Hotel confortable aunque sería deseable una actualización de las habitaciones. Mi habitación era suficientemente amplia con una cama grande y cómoda. Baño también amplio aunque sería deseable un grifo monomando tanto en la ducha como en el lavabo en lugar de los grifos separados de agua fría y caliente, típicos de los años 70. Ubicación alejada del centro aunque el bus 107 te lleva al centro histórico en 15 minutos aprox. Volvería a alojarme en este hotel dada la buena relación calidad-precio.

Værelserne er virkelig trætte og slidte og lågen til klædeskabet virkede ikke. Morgenmaden var heller ikke noget at råbe hurra for, med mindre man kan lide kage og søde sager til morgenmad. Kaffemaskinen virkede heller ikke, den gav kun vand. Du kunne drikke kaffen der var lavet og den smagte ikke godt.

Amazing value for money ( only paid 50 euro for night) , we stayed our last night in Palermo, room was big and comfortable. Very friendly reception and welcome on arrival. Location is great, we have walked to city 30 minutes and we also got free parking just outside hotel.

Das Zimmer war neben dem Flur wo es ein Personaltelefon vor den Aufzügen gab. Jeden Morgen hat es ewig geklingelt bis die Putzfrau endlich ran gegangen ist. Jedes mal hat es mich leider geweckt. In der Umgebung ist die Hauptstraße dreckig und voll Müll. Das Hotel ist gut wenn man kein luxus haben möchte. Bietet das wichtigste an, ist sauber und direkt vor dem Hotel gibt es eine Haltestelle, der Bus fährt zum Hauptbahnhof. Leider sind die öffentlichen nicht bis Mitternacht unterwegs und der Nachtbus ist ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt.

The hotel is in a run down area. The reception staff served us like we were at a train station ticket counter. The restaurant staff was inattentive and the food beyond criticism. It may help forcing their chef at gunpoint to eat it himself. The only bright spot was the room, which was spacious and functional.

Location was excellent! The room was old and uncomfortable. The bar was extremely overpriced! A double espresso for 4 euro that is more expensive than Starbucks! Gin and tonic for 16 Euro! At most bars in Palermo you pay less than half these prices! They definitely take advantage of the convenience factor!
