Der Türschloss funktionierte nicht, wurde auch in zwei Tagen nicht repariert. An einem Tag als wir aus der Stadt zurückkamen, war die Tür einfach offen und das Zimmer war nicht abgeschlossen. Ausstattung ist etwas alt. Das Frühstück ist etwas langweilig. Was gut ist, das Parkingservice und die Lage das Hotels. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind in wenigen Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Vor dem Hotel ist eine Superpizzeria, mit einer der besten Pizza in Palermo

Het is misschien handig als bezoekers van te voren weten dat je de auto gewoon voor de deur kan zetten en uitladen en dat het hotel de auto wegzet. Het straatbeeld komt voor ons nogal chaotisch over, maar als je vooraf weet dat je auto zo neerzetten normaal is, dat helpt.

The staff were very friendly and made check in very smooth. They gave me all the information I needed for my stay there, including the valet parking. The room was large and comfortable, and breakfast the next morning was excellent. My concern was the area where the hotel is located, which has very narrow streets and is very noisy. Also, when I dropped off my car at the airport the next morning, the gentleman from the rental company pointed out some scrapes on the front left bottom of the car near the headlight. I can't prove that it came from the valet parking but I didn't cause that damage myself, and yet I had to pay for it. Again, I can't prove it was the valet, but be careful if you are letting them park your SUV... check it before and after, just in case.

Daily problem with WiFi which I had to call to desk. One person on the phone suggested I bring her my phone since I couldn’t operate the WiFi. Front desk wouldn’t make change for 100 euros saying they didn’t have cash. Some staff were nice however. The morning buffet was nice. The hotel room was nice and the shower was excellent.

O hotel tem uma ótima localização. Mercure sempre atende bem nos propósitos que ele oferece. O único porém que tenho a dizer sobre a minha estadia, foi que fomos alocados em um quarto em um prédio fora do hotel, aparentemente um quarto em prédio comércial no qual o mercure transformou uma parte de ló quinto andar em hotel. Eu não localizei na minha reserva nada que dizia que eu ficaria em um quarto como esse, me senti como se tivesse em um Airbnb e não em uma rede de hotel. Pois não possuíamos lobby, área para café da manhã, nada disso, era apenas o quarto. O Wi-Fi não funcionava no quarto. E o ar condicionado não funcionou no primeiro dia, no segundo dia após reclamarmos eles consertaram.

Our room was very well appointed and clean. The breakfast buffet was reasonably priced and very high quality. The hotel is within 15 minutes walk of several of the more famous attractions in Palermo so it's a good base of operation if you are a tourist. Front desk staff was knowledgeable and helpful and spoke English well. Our only negatives were that the neighborhood was noisy at night, especially for dogs barking. Our room was on the lowest floor so if you get a room higher up this shouldn't be a problem. Would definitely recommend.

Very quiete room not facing the street, comfortable bed, a variety of international TV-Stations, very good WiFi and spacious room. The stuff is friendly. It is overall good value for the money if you don’t expect anything special. The breakfast is average and the coffee from the selfservice-machine not good for Italian standards. The worst thing was the black mold at all walls in the shower. The housekeeping definitely needs professional help.

The property is modern and very comfortable. I have trouble sleeping and my bed was great with lovely linens. Also the room was very quiet with good soundproofing. I had a huge balcony on the 7th floor with a city view. All of the staff were very pleasant. I especially liked Martina and Valeria who were so helpful. Great breakfast included. No negatives at all and we stayed 7 days!

Overall a great stay. Room was very spacious but could use some Remodeling as it was a little dated. Breakfast was good and they had a barista to make fresh coffee to order. 20 minute walk to Palermo central station. Close to numerous restaurants in area.

Two problems. Premier Room in the Annexe. First key didn't work; twice back to reception 100 m away so had to go back and forth. Room spacious, BUT, a dreadful hum like a pump quietly, getting louder, cutting in and out every 2 mins, so impossible to sleep with this constant reverberation going round the room. A motor is either next door behind the wall or above in the cavity. Unacceptable to rent out to customers. Hotel should have been aware of this big problem. Had no idea. I spoke with the receptionist at the desk who was reluctant to get the manager. Why should one be charged for this lack of premier treatment? So be wary about staying in the Mercure Premier Rooms. A dissatisfied customer.

The room was huge and I loved that plus the AC. It’s oddly noisy (I was on floor 2) but traffic and garbage trucks for 3 nights. Water pressure in the bathroom was great and so was breakfast. Surprised that they only offered shampoos and hand soap as toiletries. Otherwise really good stay. American like space and 2 double beds!

Gute Lage, fußläufig alles erreichbar. Trotz Nebenstraße jedoch viel Verkehr. Sehr laut! Frühstück mittelmäßig, Auswahl gering, dafür qualitativ sehr gut. Highlight: Kaffee und Cappuccino etc. werden frisch zubereitet. Zimmer Die Fenster ist nicht schallisoliert. Wir haben mehrfach geprüft, ob wirklich geschlossen. Sehr laut! Auch die Nachbarn hört man jederzeit. Ansonsten Zimmer groß und sauber!

I have two main issues with my stay at this hotel. Firstly, upon check-in, the room had a strange smell. I requested a different room, but the staff offered to clean the original room again. Even after recleaning, the unpleasant odor persisted. Secondly, I encountered a problem with the room temperature. I woke up in the middle of the night feeling cold because the heater was blowing cold air. The room has no thermostat control, so I went to the front desk to request that they raise the temperature. I asked them to adjust it two days in a row, but they insisted that the AC was working correctly. The staff could not differentiate between air conditioning and heating. Finally, for the third night, I requested extra blankets. They only delivered them after I reminded them three times, which made obtaining blankets challenging. Overall, my experience in this so-called 4-star hotel has been disappointing.

We booked a taxi transportation from Palermo to the airport .The receptioist booked for us and told us it was only 50Euro flat rate. When we got to the airport the taxi driver said it was 70 Euro. He said he had to make a little detour because of accident. But we did not see much of a detour because the inbound ws about the same distance. There is on way to argue with the driver since we were limited in Italian. He did not put on meter and word just came out of his mouth. I will write to the hotel and let them know do not use this taxi company or this taxi driver in the future. Not an honest person.

Ausgesprochen schönes Hotel in der Altstadt von Palermo. Sehr zentral und dennoch ruhig. Große, komfortable Zimmer mit allen Annehmlichkeiten. The Mercure is located in a very central place in the city near shopping and dining. I was able to walk easily to the entry point for the Hop on Hop Off Bus. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was ample. I would have preferred if the air conditioner could go down 1 or 2 more degrees, but it was still comfortable. We had a car and had no trouble finding street parking relatively close - one day right in front!

Good location, 20 min walk to central train station. We stayed at the guest house suites next door to the Mercure Hotel itself. Room was new, clean and quiet. Breakfast was served at the hotel, again, right next door to the guest house suites. Touristy street was about 10 min walk, tons of restaurants, shopping and sites.
