Friendly and super clean. 8-10 min to train and bus station. Across the street from market. The rooms are older and there are a few steps as older blogs but there is an elevator to second floor after nice lobby with 5 steps. Staff 24 hr. Marco and Salvatore front desk welcoming and helpful. They opened microwave for us to warm snack. There is bkfst 7:40-20:40a that looks good but our schedule didn't match. Easy walk to the Mercado foods and to Quattro canti and Massimo opera. Went to every place trapani and Cefalù and Montreale and museums as so close to station. They held bag while we went to Taormina and returned to stay more night. The only misfit is that bus Roma has a homeless lady but maybe that will change. It is safe and parallel to marqueda so one can walk around

Bonjour, Nous avons passé plus d'une semaine dans l'hôtel à l'occasion de vacances. La toute première chose à souligner est la qualité de l'accueil du petit déjeuner. La personne qui nous servait chaque matin était très à l'écoute de nos goûts, très attentionnée et gentille. Un grand merci à elle, d'autant qu'elle faisait l'effort de parler français. Le petit déjeuner est assez diversifié et d'un excellent rapport qualité prix ! La chambre est spacieuse. La décoration est datée mais il y a de la place pour ranger ses vêtements. La qualité de la literie est médiocre car le sommier est à ressorts. Je l'ai tourné à 180 degré pour avoir plus de confort, comme le matelas d'ailleurs. La climatisation est sur demande auprès de l'accueil ce qui est pénible à la longue ! On a l'impression de déranger et parfois personne ne répond quand il est tard (j'ai dû l'arrêter moi même au compteur électrique). La chambre, comme la salle de bain, mériteraient un rafraîchissement et un brin de modernité. Ah, autre point, la fenêtre de notre chambre donnait sur une toute petite cour et avec un vis à vis sur une autre chambre. De ce fait nos voisins comme nous vivions avec les volets clos. Il faudrait rendre les vitres opaques,ce serait mieux.

Buona posizione a pochi minuti a piedi dalla stazione centrale, sempre a piedi (o con monopattini e biciclette a noleggio via app) si raggiungono agevolmente i principali monumenti. Fermata mezzi pubblici davanti all'albergo. Edificio storico. Hotel al secondo piano con ascensore a gabbia, hall piccola ma con un bell'affresco sopra la reception, camera spaziosa con mobili in arte povera e letto in ferro battuto no moquette ma pavimento antico, bagno rinnovato, tendaggi pregiati, soffitto e porta altissimi, buon funzionamento Wi-Fi, TV LCD. Finestra con vista su disimpegno interno, no cassaforte in camera ma possibile chiedere armadio a chiave, no frigobar ma supermercato vicinissimo, riscaldamento con pompa di calore o aria condizionata in estate.

Hotel del Centro was our first stop in Italy after a very long flight from Australia. Checkin was somewhat confusing as the apartments are situated within a building with other businesses / occupancies. Once located (level 4 from memory), the reception staff were very friendly and accommodating. Although you could get a lift to the reception, you then had to walk 2 flights of steep stairs to your room. The room was fairly spacious for 3 adults but not very modern. Bathroom was presentable and beds were reasonably comfortable. The hotel was within walking distance of the old town near the port where there were many options available for dining. Parking was an issue as there is very limited and unsecured on street parking, but we eventually found a secured parking area within walking distance for $25EUR for the night. Yes expensive! Paid breakfast was available but we had to leave early next morning so we didn't opt for that. For an overnight stay, our overall experience was good. With more research, we may have found something more convenient an inexpensive.

There are some things you should know that are uncommon with this hotel: 1) There is air conditioning, but you have no control. The front desk turns it on and off at your request. It is cool, but not cold. 2) The front desk keeps your room key when you leave the room. I never learned why. 3) The elevator is very European (very very small) 4) Parking is at the central train station. You will want to park here. It is safe but expensive. Street parking technically exists, but very erratic and chaotic. No car? No problems.

Great location and loved the classic rooms with high ceilings. Could walk almost everywhere and convenient to train station when we needed public transportation and airport access. Staff was very attentive and helpful. The low rating was due to minimal connectivity via WI-FI, extremely small shower with mold, and air conditioner that worked but had to call front desk to turn it on/off. They did not leave the control in the room. Happily it was not extremely hot when we were there.

Det er egentlig ikke hotell. Bare et sted å sove. Gammelt og slitt, men det ble stelt hver dag. Enormt med støy fra trafikk og selv om vi var der 7 netter så fikk vi ikke bytte. Testet frokost 1 dag, men det var dårlig utvalg og kun plastikkrus. Ingen andre sted å slappe av enn i sengen. Resepsjonen er kun et sted som passer på nøkkelen, ellers er det ingen service.

Air conditioning was beyond terrible, I’ve been to 42 countries so I’ve stayed at lots of hotels, never a hotel that would shut down its air conditioning while outside the temperature is above 90°, the first room they gave me the ac worked half the night, the second night didn’t work at all, then they changed the room, that room the ac barely kept the room cool! Also, the door to the bathroom when you open it would squeak so loud that it would wake up my family! Easy fix just oil the door hinges! Maybe owner is too cheap to buy oil! In addition, people at 1am talking loud in the hallway till about 3am, staff said they asked them to lower their voice, apparently they wasn’t stern enough because they kept taking and making noise! Would never stay at this hotel!

After reading reviews I guess I expected more from this hotel. The rooms were ok. The rooms were very warm as they turn the air off when you leave every time because you have to give them your room key. Netter Empfang. Schönes altes Haus mit grossen Zimmer mit viel liebevollen Details. Hatte soger ein upgrade Junior Suite erhalten. Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen, Bahnhof gleich in der Nähe. We chose this hotel because of the proximity of the main rail station and the centre. We arrived early, hoping to leave our bags and return later but the reception said the room was available now, so we unpacked and started our adventure. The centre of Palermo is on the door step with all the sites and markets nearby.

Einfaches Hotel mit Lärmproblem. Nach 3Nächten und einer sehr unerfreulichen Diskussion mit dem unverschämten Rezeptionisten konnte ich das Zimmer wechseln. Die Zimmer zur Via Roma sind extrem laut weil die Fenster dünn und ungedämmt sind. Das Hotel liegt nah am Bahnhof, allerdings ist die Gegend sehr runtergekommen und dreckig, Bettler sitzen direkt vorm Haus.

The AC kept going off the first night at 5 am woke up sweating mid Sep. The next day same thing. The employees were very nice, coming to our room to fix it, but 3rd morning the owner was there and was rude, and said temperature is set at 24 degrees and said people turn it off usong the phone. I explained that as soon we arrived the AC was turned on, but every couple of hours went off, leaving us sweating in the middle of the night. At one point the owner walked away, mid way during our conversation.

from Palermo Airport to this hotel the best way is to take shared taxi cost 8 euros per person and arrive at the door of the hotel, this hotel is located central part of the most sightseeing locations, walking 10 mins to everywhere and there is a super market Lidl across the street, 3 blocks to train station and bus terminals to any places across Sicily, also the front desk person is very professional and friendly. It is a HOTEL! not AirBnB that has no front desk. Love to stay at this place, we arrived about 3 PM, and then out to look around, within walking distance of 10 minutes, we have seen all the places we planned to visit as a sightseeing spots, so next day we done the most of the planned sightseeing.

The team led by Giovanni were polite, efficient, moved us to new rooms & made sure that our stay was so enjoyable. The breakfast in the morning was very good. I recommend you stay at this hotel as it is also central to all major attractions in Palmero. I have it 5 stars.

They have friendly, welcoming, attentive and professional staff. It’s safe, very clean, spacious and beautiful city view from my hotel room balcony. Bed was very comfortable. It’s a bus ride from and to the airport. It’s well located to public transport. Nearby plenty of historical places to visit. Walkable to plenty of restaurants, bars, cafe and shopping. I had an excellent stay at this hotel. Highly recommended when visiting Palermo.
